0 stars if I could. The sales team told me my siding would be installed by a professional. 6 months after my despot was check was cashed a rickety van showed up at my house. Rock Solid contracted my job to the lowest bidder. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had to date. I had to challenge the contractor to replace sub par work almost every step of the way. Everything I questioned led to an argument with the contractor telling me "he's been doing this for 20 years and that's how it's done". Here are the issues I had to argue to get corrected: Sided over rotted fascia without replacing. Sided over an old bird's nest without removing. You could see it sticking out of under the new siding. Used white trim at the bottom of the gable creating ugly thin white line that you could see from the road. Bent J channel from bad measurements and cuts. Left gaps above windows with no siding or anything between the inner wall and the elements. Corner work was atrocious. Did not cut or install the fascia aluminum to the correctly so it did not slide under the drip edge. The two front windows I paid extra to have sided to match the siding were sided differently. One was sided using J channel and the other was sided using bent aluminum. The windows are right next to each other. The contractor obviously ran out of material and was to lazy to do the job right. Piles of debris left behind. Seams not caulked. After all this I called Rock solid and told them I didn't want the contractor back and needed someone to come look at the house. The contractor called me at my place of business, yelled at me for calling Rock Solid. We argued and then agreed that he would be there the next day to fix everything. He never showed up. After listing my complaints to Rock Solid they simply asked when I would be able to complete my payment. That's the only thing they were concerned with. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Their "Project Manager" tricked me into signing a $40,000 contract while I was heavily medicated right after dental surgery. I told him I only wanted an estimate and he told me that is what I was getting. He said I had until the following Monday to decide if I wanted to go forward and that he would contact me (he never did). He also had me fill out finance paperwork without disclosing I was entering into a loan agreement. I tried to appeal to him to cancel the contract because he misrepresented the paperwork I signed. If I could give a negative stars I would! I had my roof replaced in November 2016 and now have interior damage from the roof leaking! I've tried to get them to fix the damage and just keep getting the run around! My floor is so badly damaged that mushrooms are growing through the carpet! This company is horrible and I would not recommend ever using them! read more

Rock Solid replaced all shingles and a few sheets of bad wood on my home in October 2018. Was pleased with the crews that came out to do the work. They were respectful and worked hard. They did a nice job on the roof and shingles. Looks great. They also did a good job on the clean up of visible debris as the installation progressed. I was a little disappointed to find many nails in the gutters when I did late fall leaf clean out. In one or two places there were significant piles of nails. Recommend you make sure they take care of that before they leave. I also had a question regarding the old gable vent, but paid in full prior to getting a response. Never heard back on it, but also did not ask again. So would recommend to get all questions answered prior to paying in full. David G. read more

Project is in process. I will update this review once the project is complete and create a new final review. Below are the facts for your consideration; Signed contract for Exterior Paint, Wood Repair and 1 Door Wall replacement 8/15/2017. Paint was completed within 3-4 weeks, needs some touch ups, but promised they will come out once door wall(s) installed. Other 2 door walls deemed un-repairable so 2 additional ordered 9/13/2017 (at my cost). Standard 6' door walls ordered since it would be quicker, door opening size is actually 6'4". I had to constantly call to find out status as October came and went and we were heading into November. December 12th install was attempted, but as my wife looked at the doors they looked like raw wood. The delivery guy, and the installers both agreed they didn't look right. They attempted to call our Sales/Contractor David Wieczorek to find out what was up, but he didn't answer or call back for 20minutes. By that time we sent the installers home. The manager was also called but didn't know whey they look unfinished / no primer. Apparently they were clear coated, but that was not communicated to anyone. Been waiting for a second install since. Again, I've had to initiate all communication, and Dave had not reached out to me since 12/13/2017 - Dave has called me today, 3/4/18. I've started calling again since the weather is getting better, apparently one of the door walls needed repair and has been sent back, but as of 3/4/2018 the door walls are still not ready for install. I have opinions, but since the job is not complete its not fair to share them. Once the job is completed in its entirety I'll share. My 2 week project took up to 3 months from signing of contract of $33,000 august 2017 to near end of October. Come springtime siding started falling off. Had crew out several times to add nails. I wrote a extensive negitave review and Levi contacted me to repair anything I needed if I would delete my review. He came out I gave him a extensive list and he threw in a couple nails , he came out on a third time and after that I still had some issues, on our 4th phone call excuses after excuses we had our differences of opinion's. And Levi hung up on me then we had a couple texts which ended it ,all he cared about is me deleteing my review he offered me money back I said 10 percent of course that wasn't going to fly. My wife has been so upset over this ordeal she had a nightmare Levi came by and tore off all the siding. P.S Tammy at the office should give seminars on how to delay and stonewall customers into giving COUSTOMERS false promises, she's a piece of work.I hope she's paid well she should work at a car dealership and double her salary because levi is not a person I would want to represent if I wanted a honest living AND levi, you say you read all your reviews well ive been reading them too and I wonder how many other reviews you cohorced having deleted them. Those will never be known. You said my house looks great but it was never on your home page so you must not be proud of your work on my house oh I get it its not a upscale job and full of complaints.. Levi I personally believe coustomer is job 1 your nonchalant attitude with me is inexcusable your 2 week job exceeded. This company did a complete tear-off and installed a new roof. The job was horrible my roof looked wavy instead of flat. I called Rock Solid Exteriors several times to fix my brand new roof they sent someone out and he banged on my roof for about 5 min and then set in front of my house in his car for about 10 min when he saw me come out the house he drove off. I called back and complained what he did and my roof still looks horrible. They sent a different guy out who told me I had nail pops he hammered some nails down but my roof still look like it was 10 yrs old. There has been several roofing salesmen who have stopped by my home they would say "I see you need a new roof" I would tell them I just had that roof put on a few months ago, their response was "Really"? One of the salesmen actually worked for Rock Solid Exterior when I told him the roof is just 2yrs he was shocked and wanted to know who did the work and I looked at his shirt and saw that he was from Rock Solid Exteriors I told him your company did the work. I went to get the receipt and showed it to him and he wrote down my name and number that was 3 months ago and no one has called me regarding this issue. I have spoken to the owner several times after the work was done I was trying to get him to come out and see the horrible work his guys did to my home. They also left a whole slew of nails on my roof, I had to replace a tire and have another nail in my tire today. I got tired of having to check out my driveway before I pulled out of the garage to check for nails so one year after the roof install I got on my ladder to look at my roof and there were nails everywhere on the roof, laying on my awning, and in the gutters. I got as many as I could because of I'm afraid of heights I did climb on the roof I took a water hose and got the ones off my awing and grabbed up the all he nails in the gutter. I could also see the some of the nail pops when I was on the ladder. I really did not want to give this company a half star because I feel they took advantage of a single woman who doesn't know much about roofing but I know a good job went I see one. I also have a half star because the customer service sucks. I've personally done a lot of work on the exterior of my home but every time I look at my roof I'm embarrassed especially when a contractor comes to my house looking at me as if to say "Man they saw you coming".... Paid half down to get the so called good price. A month has gone by - no one will call and let me know what's going on. Never dealt with a company so bad. Maybe my job isn't that important to them - hopefully yours is. Would love to get an answer but maybe they just grabbed my deposit and ran - good luck to everyone else. My advise go somewhere else. Total lack of communication I really don't know how a company like this can stay in business. I have spent more time sitting around waiting for someone to show up when they said they would be her only to be disappointed again at the end of the day. Total missed appointments with no calls from anyone from this company so far 9 (make that 10) It's been one excuse after another why appointments weren't kept as if there was no one else in the office that could give us a call and let us know what was up. The only reason we picked this company to do our roof and gutters was because of the reviews we read and now we are wondering if negative reviews just get deleted. Our contract was signed on 9/29/16 and we are still waiting for the job to be completed. I stressed to the salesman and the installation manager that we were in a time crunch for this job and we were assured the job would be done in a timely manner. The roof was finally installed on 10/17/16 after 1/2 the shingles that were delivered were the wrong color. Last Friday (10/21/16) I was told that our gutters would be installed on Wednesday (today 10/26/16) I'm still sitting here waiting for someone to show up and am sure I once again wasted my day sitting around and never got a call from anyone at the company. Not sure why the gutters were not installed right after the roof was installed, 10 day's and waiting. My husband also came across a coupon for $1,000.00 off the job and we were told by our salesman that we couldn't use the coupon because he had already given us a sharp price, we later found from other jobs in the neighbor hood that were somewhat bigger than ours was that they paid a few thousand dollars less and the jobs were all completed within a 10 day's of signing a contract and picking a color. I wish I would have talked to a few of the neighbors and got the name of the roofing company they went with. This experience with Rock Solid Exterior has been a total nightmare I can't wait for it to be over and we can move on to the next project that needs to be done. This morning (10/27/16) I got another message from Rock Solid after sitting around all day yesterday waiting for them to show up to do my gutters that there was a mix-up with my address and that the gutters will be installed on Friday (weather permitting) or first thing Monday. Yippee I get to sit around and wait another weekend for this nightmare to end. One excuse after another. read more

We had a rocky start with the first crew. I understand that they are no longer with the company. The second crew came out and did a complete tear off and redid the one side of the house that was leaking and had rotten rafters. We did not have any leaks during the winter and spring following the repair, but had some humps and valleys we were concerned about. We were told that someone would come out and take a look as soon as the weather broke and we had some warm days because they felt that the shingles would lay down when they warmed up since it was winter when the repairs were done. They finally came out Oct 10th and Rick and Doug worked very hard to find out why this was happening again. They nailed down some of the area but there was a large hump that had them stumped. They tore off a large section down to the rafters again and discovered two of the rafters had been missed on the repair. They reinforced the rafters and replaced the bad OSB with new and new shingles were installed. They did both repairs at their own expense. My only complaint is that it took so long to get someone up here to do the repairs. I understand that we are out of the way and we were not having leaks but we had to hold off on the final painting of the upper rooms do to "nail pops" that happens every time the pounding to the roof happens. read more
