Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning, which is a shame because this spa truly has some of the nicest facilities in South Florida. After several visits, I've realized that it doesn't matter how beautiful the space is if the environment is consistently disrupted by disrespectful patrons and if staff make no effort to maintain a relaxing atmosphere. During my most recent visit, I checked in an hour early specifically to enjoy the amenities. While I was in the women's sauna, a group of girls were sitting directly outside playing music at full volume, letting their phones ring and ping with notifications, and talking loudly the entire time. Several staff members walked by and said nothing. I moved to the coed area hoping for a more peaceful experience, but instead found a woman in the hot tub with a full tripod setup actively recording. Again, multiple staff members passed without addressing it. I finally went to the front desk to ask whether filming was allowed, and only then did someone approach her, yet she continued recording even after being spoken to. After my treatment I was hoping maybe the people who were disturbing the peace might have left but unfortunately they were still in the women's room, this time one was FaceTiming somebody from the hot tub. It was at this point that I accepted defeat and just decided to leave. I simply cannot wrap my head around how people think it's OK to film and stream in private areas, and how the staff can walk by and say nothing. My actual treatment was fantastic, but it is impossible to overlook how often the relaxation areas are filled with people talking loudly, playing music, and taking videos on their phones in areas were privacy as generally expected. When a spa charges premium prices, guests should reasonably expect a premium experience that protects privacy. I'm not getting that here anymore. read more

My wife surprised me with a trip to Rock Spa at the Guitar Hotel where we enjoyed the amenities to the fullest for our anniversary. My wife scheduled Swedish massages for both of us and mine was incredibly thorough, relieving me of the stress I was carrying in my shoulders and back as well as my hands, feet, and calves. My massage therapist was magical and was very careful and nuanced with ensuring I was comfortable as she maneuvered my limbs to massage out the tightness. Between the coed area with the three plunge pools (hot, room temp for therapy and leisure, and cold), the sauna, and the beds and lounge areas with aromatherapy and fire pits and the separate men's area where there was a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room as well as a lounge area, dim lit relaxation room, showers and lockers, the experience was amazing. The staff were incredibly attentive to everyone's personal items and needs, making sure the guests had water, fresh towels, and anything to make the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed bouncing between the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi in the men's room. The snacks were nice to have during our stay. I would return in a heart beat. read more

I came here for my birthday for a nice relaxing day... Booking the appointment was relatively easy. My appointment was at 1:00 and I arrived at 12:30. I was welcomed with a nice glass of mimosa. The young woman attending the facility helped me with getting a locker and slippers. I ended up not having enough time to see the facility before hand so I was shown after. My appointment was with April for the CBD OIL MASSAGE. The massage was very relaxing, I really enjoyed it. My only problem was the rooms aren't sound proof and they are outside of the common area where the jacuzzi and pool are located. Someone was talking very loudly during my entire massage. I could hear everything he was saying clearly. So that made it harder for me to get in the mood. But other than that the facilities are kept in great shape, and super clean. They have a common area with a lounging area, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, crystal salt room and area designed specifically for quiet time. I'm so totally bummed to leave this review. The Tone & Firm treatment from Deborah was AMAZING and gets 5stars! The actual spa is in need of some Spa police or something! No one is adhering to the Whisper zone and no one is enforcing it!! We had to ask 4x until we finally found a manager to complain to. There was a lady in the jacuzzi watching music videos on her phone without earbuds. There were 3 women who moved to the jacuzzi & the 4 of them were talking so loud that we could hear them in the quiet room inside. I was taken to a manager at the front who told me she really couldn't do anything and her locker room staff don't speak a lot of English so they probably didn't understand. After my FABULOUS treatment. I had asked when I checked in if there were any restrictions after my treatment because we want to go to the beach club and swim and were told no. We had 2 hours before the treatment but wanted to do it after. I was informed during my treatment I could NOT go in the jacuzzi or swimming but I could do the dry sauna. Totally bummed I went to the dry sauna where there was a gentleman talking on his cell phone and had it on speaker. He told me he is from Toronto and not used to everyone being so nice-I told him I'm from California and not use to anyone being on their phone in a spa without earbuds. I then went to leave and he told me I didn't have to and O said "yes I do-I don't want to hear your conversation, I would like to continue to relax". Once again I informed the people who work there and they laughed it off and said "people can be so rude". Why have signs all over that it's a WHISPER ZONE if it's not enforced? I had a Swedish massage appointment for 5:30 here and I showed up about 10 minutes before my massage. Others mentioned they received a complimentary drink (champagne or something similar) however I did not receive that. The guy who brought me in from the check-in area was nice and explained some things and sort of showed me around. I can't remember the name of the lady who massaged me other than the fact that her names started with a J and she was a black lady. She was super nice and accommodating, and overall the massage was good. I wish I had gotten something a bit harder, but it still felt relaxing. The bummer was that I only had about 15-20 minutes to really enjoy the facilities afterwards because they close at 7pm. I'd recommend getting an appointment earlier in the day if possibly to be able to enjoy the spa facilities afterwards without feeling rushed. read more

Clean and well maintained spa. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna: spent time in the gender specific and ones located in the co-ed/shared common space. Steam rooms are only in gender specific locker area. Shower facilities were cleaned and towels restocked consistently. The 50 minute deep tissue massage was done well and the room, table were at comfortable temperatures. The only minor drawback for me was the Himalayan salt "room". It was as a wall of pink salt and lovely chaises to relax in but since it was not an enclosed space you cannot get the full benefit of breathing in the special salt. read more

I came here Thursday morning around 10AM for a special pedicure and a spa manicure since I'm leaving on a seven day cruise this Saturday. I've been here many times and service is always professional, attentive and well done. It's not cheap! Afterall, it's located in the three billion dollar Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino! I think my total was about $148 for both services, plus tip and we'll worth it. The spa itself is clean, well maintained and spacious, allowing the workers and guests plenty of room to maintain an intimate private type atmosphere without the feeling of being crowded. Rock Spa was really nice. I took the day off to hang out for a ladies day of relaxation. My two other companions also enjoyed themselves. The staff was friendly, they provided us with snacks, water, tea, and coffee. They have multiple plung pools, hot, ice cold, etc. Those are really nice. The saunas and steam rooms are very relaxing, honestly the atmosphere they provide throughout the facility itself is tranquil. It was just a beautiful day and when I say day I mean day. We spent the entire day in the spa. So worth it. However,I gave them four stars because their salt room / cave in my opinion was more for aesthetics and you didn't benefit from it. I've been to salt rooms and spa's so this was a let down. Also don't be late for an appointment, they are not flexible. I booked a day at the spa as a birthday gift for my partner. It was the best decision ever. We got the couples custom massage which includes a 50 minute massage and full access to the spa. The package "journey" was a little over $500 with gratuity included. It was the most amazing massage I have ever had. My partner also really enjoyed hers. We had April and Johanni as our massage therapist. We arrived to our appointment 30 minutes prior to the appointment time as suggested. We got to walk around the hotel for a bit and take pictures at the gorgeous Oculus located right at the entrance of the hotel. We were then given direction to the spa which is located on the 3rd floor with an incredible view of the pool. We were greeted with a friendly face and checked in for our day at the spa. When making the appointment you do have to give a card but are not charged until arrival. Once we were all checked in, we were shown to our locker which included a welcome card, luxurious robe, slippers, and bag for our wet swimsuit. Then, we were given a tour of all the amenities the spa has to offer. This includes a sauna, steam room, jetted tubs, and meditation rooms (or napping rooms which is how we used it lol) in an area for either women or men only. There is also a co-ed section with another jetted tub, sauna, and pool right under a gorgeous skylight window with a view of the guitar. After our massage we spent the day in the different pools and tubs. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The ambience is so perfect for a de-stressing day. We were so relaxed we napped for 2 hours. It was so good. I can't wait to come back to the spa again. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Completely worth it and will be back again soon! *They also have water, juice, and cold towels to cool off after the hot tub, sauna and steam room. There are various towels placed around the spa. I've been to the spa before and enjoyed my experience and was excited to come back with my husband this time for our anniversary, however, that didn't happen. There was a bit of a situation where I needed to speak to the spa/spa manager asap, but that was impossible. Every time I called, I reached the call center. They were not able to assist me and told me the manager would call me back. TWICE I was told a manager will be calling me back and obviously I didn't hear back from anyone. I then emailed their customer service (that was given to me by the call center) also TWICE with no acknowledgment or reply. The new Salon location inside the new Guitar hotel is mind blowing. Beautiful amenities, seating area, and staff is extremely professional. All of their stylists are really really good. Came her to celebrate my anniversary with a couple's massage and I'm glad we did it. First I must say we don't get a lot of Massages so we're fairly new to getting massages. But from my experience here I might have to do it every now and then. Granted at first it is a little pricey to me but I think with all the amenities that come with it, it was worth the price. Our therapist were Tashia and Chile and they both were fantastic. The one I had was Chile and she worked on my problem area (Back). I felt amazing, at one point I probably might've went to sleep during my massage. But the biggest perk was the atrium. I was so happy that the locker room attendant showed me around the facility. With the Atrium you can be there all day before and after your massage. So we did take advantage of that after our massage. We got to go in the jacuzzi and the sauna. What an amazing way to spend some "me time". I arrived at the spa and was greeted by friendly staff and was escorted to my locker to change into my robe. My attendant was friendly and helpful. Once changed, my attendant escorted me to my therapist April and thus my magical experience began. April questioned me about my trouble zones and what I wanted to concentrate on. She asked me about my desired aromatherapy scent I would most like and then we began. All I can say is WOW!! April gave me by the best massage I've ever had!! Her hands are like pure magic as she worked out every kink and sore area I had. She also did some light stretching which was most helpful. I did ask her to stay away from my neck because of a recent accident. She took note and was careful to not go near the area which is greatly appreciated because it's still painful. I like people who pay attention and listen to what I'm saying. If you're going to the spa, be sure to ask for her because you won't regret it. April is a professional, experienced therapist who came highly recommended. Her experience and training really showed. I can't wait to go back and spend more time. I wasn't able to experience their salt room because it was already in use by others, but I definitely want to go back. I did relax in their meditation room and fell asleep for a little while, which I never do. My suggestion is that you come during the week because it does get busier closer to the weekend. This spot is great for a girls weekend, couples and even if you want to spend some alone time. Be sure to bring your bathing suit because you can use the amenities while you're there. The water area was under construction, so I indulged in a little eucalyptus steam room. Ingrid performed my lemon verbena spa treatment which included a mild body scrub, wrapped in heated blankets while it worked it's magic, a scalp massage with aromatherapy oils, and finished with a nice back massage. It started off rough as the ladies in the coed area were really loud and because the coed space is huge and tall - any sound echoes throughout the entire spa as doors to various areas are left open. I attempted to close the door to the waiting area to relax and the lady said it had to stay open. The massage rooms lined the common area and had window openings so I could still hear the loud ladies talking during my massage and had to close the glass to the window for more quiet. They did not encourage guests to use "inside voices" so it wasn't as serene as I was hoping - almost like being at the pool outside. The music throughout the spa was also rock / energetic music and less calming relaxing music so that added to the less serene feel. The music inside the massage room was much more peaceful. Despite those annoyances, my massage from Jeffrey was wonderful and I will return. The amenities were wonderful and enough room to spread out and not feel on top of others which is a plus.
