There's a difference between massage and a "rub down". This was the latter. Even though I kept asking to use her hands to massage. Purchased a Groupon for a 50 minute Therapeutic Body Massage and with all the discounts it was $51. It was a great massage and he did ask continually if it was too intense but I felt it was important to press deep into the muscles for my chronic neck pain. The staff was nice and the place is clean. I don't know if it was just a coincidence but the next day I had a terrible stomach virus for several days. read more

Decided to do a couples massage here based on the good reviews. It was very easy to make an appt and they picked up their calls right away. Came on a Friday night. There was a parking lot in a strip which looked a little sketchy. The shop itself was pretty small but they had us go into a room which was clean. I had a male masseuse and my partner had a female masseuse. The massage itself was great. My masseuse was firm and applied deep pressure which throughout the massage he asked if the pressure was okay. It was an actual full body massage and felt like he gave a good massage throughout my body. My partner also said his masseuse had good hands and gave a strong massage. read more

I give this spa 10 Stars!!! Tina is a skilled licensed therapist. They make it easy to book appointments and can usually get me in the same day. The location is not in a busy noisy strip mall like most of them. I enjoy the peaceful, tranquility that Simply Massage offers. I get 90 minutes and Tina makes me feel rejuvenated after my session. The sheets and blankets are comfortable and you covered the entire massage. I have recommended several friends to Tina and they all have the same reviews as I do. Today I paid 67$ for a 50 minute massage. The price is reasonable for the overall service HOWEVER, I wasn't happy with the service I was given. I was massaged by a woman maybe in her 40's-50's not very sure of her name and I wasn't satisfied. I have scoliosis and I have two herniated discs. I prefer very deep and firm deep tissue massage AND I need a therapist who will focus on the muscles that I told her I need work on the most. The lady who worked on my literally did the same movements repeatedly for about 1/2 or maybe 2/3 of the appointment. Just up and down motions, no focal point or no applying pressure to the extent and to certain areas that I asked her to beforehand. I'm not sure if it was lack of knowledge or the fact she could barely speak English to know what I asked her for. And the most absurd part was that when I went to pay, she asked me if I wanted to add a tip and I told her the tip amount and she had the nerve to say you aren't gonna tip more than that? I asked her half way through to stop and just charge me for less time but she couldn't understand me. Really poor experience, and if you review my YELP history, this is only the 2nd time I've ever left a bad review. read more

I attempted to use a groupon. The groupon had expired, but there was $56.58 that could be used towards another service. I arrived and met with a female who did not speak English. She looked at my Groupon and shook her head and said Yes then brought me into a room and told me to undress. I undressed and got on the table. She came into the room and hsnded me her phone. Another woman was on the phone, and this woman also did not speak English. She tried to tell me something about the groupon (for 20 minutes) while I sat there naked!! I finally had to kick the other woman out of the room so I could get dressed to leave. I exited the room, and then they put a man on the phone. He informed me that Groupon was expired. They would not honor it because the money was not in their account, and I needed to contact Groupon to get my money. I tried to explain to him that at the bottom of the page, it stated that it never expired, and i could use the $56.58 toward another service. He would not let me speak and continued to talk over me. He again told me they would not honor it. I gave the phone back to the women and left the business without another word. This was THE WORST experience I have EVER had. I am never a "Karen," but this was horrible, to say the least. Not to mention the outside of this place looks shady and not what I had expected. It is definitely NOT a spa. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe the massage would have been terrible, too?? Stay away from this place. read more
