Back then they a had varied stock of trendy wear , some labels, a random lingerie collection, accessories and went by the name G & CO. Friday night I stopped in looking for yet another hoody as I headed out of work and out of town with no time to grab a quick extra layer of clothing for my trip. As I entered the store i was immediately impressed by the new simple design. The walls are stark red and contrast with the crisp white floors and furniture. Other than when I first entered and was informed of a 20% storewide sale, the staff only approached me once to let me know they had additional sizes in the back. This was not a desperate sales attack since I was trying on several of the Ed Hardy, Smet, and Crystal Rock hoodies. All run between $75-$300 and they have both men's and women's styles. Everything in the store is designer and sells at designer prices..hence the addition of Couture to the name. I like that they only sell a few labels but offer a large selection without a 'macy's' type filter. They even have some limited edition pieces.The collections and designs of the store make a strong statement. This place is passionate about bringing big labels and the latest fashions to Columbus and they deliver. I just wish I could afford it.

It's connected to the White Castle building, snuggled right near the entrance to the apartments, Penzone, and Orange Theory. They sometimes have mannequins out front to call attention to it but it can be hard to miss. Once inside the staff is incredibly friendly, always providing help and suggestions when needed. The aesthetic of the store is pretty much black and white. I've never seen a lot of color here and when I do, it tends to be more neutral tones. The clothing can be fun and unique or even classy depending on what you're looking for. I will add that it's not very size inclusive. As a size 6 I was having a hard time finding something that was true to size. Overall, it fits nicely in the Short North and prices compare to the other boutiques in the area. It's definitely worth a stop, especially if you are a tiny person that prefers a fairly monochromatic wardrobe.

It might be my new favorite local clothing spot. I was delighted to stumble upon this woman-owned small business this past weekend (how did I not know about this?!). The woman working the counter I am now realizing may be the owner? And she was incredibly charming, chic, and helpful. A perfect stylistic representation of the store itself and the perfect model to display looks that I assume she is choosing/buying herself! I ended up with a super cute black and white denim skirt covered in crescent moons, and two amazing pairs of retro jeans. Epic 90's beige cargo jeans-- totally utilitarian raver badassery-- and black boyfriend-cut also super 90's jeans that somehow make my legs look super long. I seriously can't wait to wear them everything I bought! I pretty much liked everything I tried on and I got my top 3 faves. If you love neutral colors (they ONLY sell neutrals x3) in fresh, funky and retro styles this is 100000000% your store. She never contacted me for an unreasonable amount of time and when she finally did her reasoning was that she was experiencing some personal/family issues. I understand that "life happens"; however, when you're in business it is only proper to keep your communication open with your clients. I finally received the garment after 8 months. I decided to give her another try after over a year. She came through on a personal request, but unfortunately, I have had the same experience as the last client. I contracted Joni's Fashion Boutique for a church-related project. She was given the materials and patterns to make samples for the ministry to make a decision on. In addition, I also gave her a deposit. That has been over six months ago and I have nothing to show for it. She has gone AWOL with not answering texts, phone calls or emails. Joni's Fashion Boutique is not a reliable or trustworthy business.

I though that is possible, and it probably was one of the website scammers, so I paid for the class again. Then I was really satisfied with the classes I have had with her. She took my measures, I brought fabric worth of $70, and I gave her my sketches of the dresses....That was 3 months ago... Now she doesn't respond to any of my phone calls, messages, and I came to her house numerous times and she didn't open the door even though her neighbors said she is at home. Stay away!!!!!!!!

After walking in and out of so many places, I was happy to find a clothing store near the campus that didn't charge $70 for a hoodie. My black OSU hoodie (kangaroo pouch, not zip-up) was $45 and I wore it three straight days.
