    Lobster roll

So good for a meal out during covid! Came at 12 on a Saturday and got a table right away. Got the lobster roll, tots & my dad got the fried clams. All were 100% delicious. Felt super safe, clean and efficient! Service was quick as well. Highly recommend.

The Beach Bazaar lost one great seafood stand, but gained a new one that's just as good! They took over the space that was previously Wild Feast, smack dab in the middle of the indoor food court. As the name suggests, their specialty is clam, but they of course also sell lobster rolls since it's from the same people as Red Hook Lobster Pound (one of the best places in Brooklyn). I went with a fried clam roll. It came on a toasted buttery bun and was spilling out with clam pieces. And a hell of a deal for $12. My friends got the fried clam basket, and it was the same thing, but with more fried clams (and without the bread). You can add a side of tots to that. They also sell clam chowder, which seems suuuuper weird to me as a summer food. But to each his/her own, I guess.

I went all the way to this place to try the clam sandwich. I wish I didn't have to do that if I knew there was a place in Manhattan. Anyways, I think their deep fried clams there taste really great and fresh too. It was pretty flavorful and you also have a great view of the beach while you are enjoying it there. I would definitely come back here again but probably not travel all the way there. The area is a mysterious part of New York with tons to explore over there. The service there was quick and on point.

    Disgusting elote

I got the shrimp roll ($12) and elote off the cob. The Shrimp roll was fine but still overpriced for the amount of shrimp given. The elote was a great dissapointment. The corn was completley burnt, stale and inedible. Tasted like it was burnt and then microwaved. When I complained I was told that there was nothing that could be done because it was supposed to be charred. There is a large difference between charred and burnt. I'm not usually one to complain about charring becuase I like the smoky taste but this just didnt even taste like corn. I just wanted one that didnt taste like pure charcoal. Waste of 6 dollars.

Set right along Jamaica Bay, Kennedy's nails that perfect balance between upscale and relaxed. The ambiance feels polished without being stuffy--white tablecloths, nautical touches, and sweeping waterfront views that make it just as good for a casual dinner as it is for a special occasion. The menu is a standout, especially if you're into seafood, cabernet braised beef short ribs, and expertly prepared dry-aged chops. And of course, a perfectly poured Guinness always hits different when you're by the water. One of my favorite things about Kennedy's is the atmosphere beyond the food. They frequently host live music--especially on Friday and Saturday nights--which adds a lively, local energy without overwhelming the space. What really makes Kennedy's special, though, is its deep-rooted history. Dating back to 1910--when the original building was ferried over from Coney Island--it has weathered everything from a nearby naval explosion in 1919 to the devastation of Hurricane Sandy in 2012. After a major renovation, it reopened in 2014, blending its rich past with a modern, resilient design. Kennedy's isn't just a restaurant--it's a Breezy Point institution.

Came here for a birthday party last night and honestly was not impressed. Service was sub par,…read morefood was sub par, drinks were sub par. We were a big party so there was a lot of food that was had. I'll try to break it down from what I can remember. Bread basket - stale bread and not sure if the butter was actual butter because it didn't taste it Locally-farmed beet and mesclun greens, goat cheese salad with candied walnuts 5/5 - this was really good Jumbo coconut shrimp 2/5 - the shrimp were huge and I was excited to try it cause it's one of my favorite dishes but they had a weird taste to them and the sauces that came with didn't compliment them too well, I've had better tasting coconut shrimp in red lobster lol Burrata 5/5 - the burrata was fresh and delicious Fried calamari 2/5 - had a few pieces and the last piece I had was chewy and wet and I ended up spitting it out cause it creeped me out Jumbo lump crab cake 3/5 - it was alright Tuna tartare 5/5 - I think this was my favorite app, it was delicious Pan seared diver scallops, creamy shrimp & chorizo risotto 1/5 - first of all didn't see any chorizo in the risotto but that's whatever, IT WAS SO SALTY!! I couldn't eat more than one bite. Fresh oysters 5/5 - delicious and fresh, probably the best thing that was served Filet minion 1/5 - once again SO SALTY! ate a few bites and took the rest home to give to my dog after I washed the salt off because just inedible. He enjoyed it at least lol. The roasted potatoes that came with it were delicious though. Chicken tenders with fries (kids meal) 5/5 - I didn't try it but my son loved it and ate almost the whole plate Pomegranate martini 2/5- the first one they brought over was straight up vodka did not taste anything else but I was just slowly sipping on it because it was very strong. The waitress came up to me and asked if the drink was ok and I said it's a little strong but it's ok, she asked if I would like it remade not so strong and I said sure. She took it away brought another one that just tasted like straight up pomegranate, no alcohol. I didn't want to bother her especially since I didn't even mention it being strong to begin with, she asked herself, so I drank it and had two more and I'm pretty sure there was no alcohol in them period so that was annoying. White Russian 1/5 - got a White Russian as a dessert drink and it had no taste at all, how is that even possible for a White Russian?! Margarita 1/5 - tried my mom's margarita, it was very watered down and tasted like margarita mix, no tequila to be felt. Crème brûlée 3/5 - not the best I've had, not the worst. Brownie 1/5 - the brownie comes "à la mode" but I asked for no ice cream because it was for my son and he had a bit of a cough. They brought it out with ice cream, I sent it back and it took forever to get the one without ice cream, I thought they forgot honestly. My kid liked it but he's 5 and it's chocolate lol but I tried it and it was honestly horrible. Tasted freezer burned, was dry as all heck and the middle was rock hard. For how much this place is talked up, it's definitely not worth the hype or the price. Not a place I'll be back to unless it's an invite for a family birthday again.

We had the best night at Michael's!…read more I knew Michaels was an iconic restaurant deep in Brooklyn. I've seen their sauce sold in stores before, and we finally made the trip out for dinner. We went around Christmas and it was decorated inside. The restaurant was packed. Every single table was full. Everyone was having the best time. Even the bar was totally full of people ordering drinks before they were seated. The food is classic, New York Italian. Everything is a very well done version. The veal Parm was one of the best I've ever had. The caramel cake at the end was truly beyond. I can't recommend this experience enough. We ate for three hours had amazing cocktails, great bottles of wine and a really delicious meal. Looking around, you could tell the diners were locals enjoying a beloved neighborhood restaurant. It's such a special restaurant that serves real New Yorkers.

The interior looks like a classic Italian restaurant and service is very formal. It was quite busy for a weekday night. There's valet parking so you don't have to stress about finding street parking nearby. We ordered fried calamari, baked clams, baked vodka penne, and the Fisherman's Platter. We were served bread and some antipasto to start. The calamari was a classic and I loved the sauce -- it had a good spicy kick to it. The baked clams were okay. The Fisherman's Platter is a must and good value with its generous portion of seafood. It can definitely be shared amongst two people. The baked vodka penne was also good but portion was on the smaller side. I would say Michael's is a must try at least once.
