I'm a sucker for a good pop shop, so when I saw that Lake Arrowhead had a Rocket Fizz location I got pretty stoked knowing what would be inside. This location is a pretty good size and is filled with literally hundreds of different flavours of pop to choose from, as well as candy, random toys, and a variety of other random crap to scratch an itch you don't even know you have. After making my way through the store I managed to pick up both a grass flavoured pop as well as a some fruity type one that I drank right away and enjoyed very, very much. I drank the grass pop the following day when it was cold and it was a super odd taste to say the least. Good? I sure think so. Overall, Rocket Fizz was a fun shop to stroll through and definitely a place I'll return to on future trips to Lake Arrowhead. The best part? My kids fell in love with this store! There were all sorts of candies, soda pops, chocolates, toys, and more goodies. The kids went crazy roaming around exploring with huge smiles on their faces. We were in the store for about 20 mins. Lots of unique products to look at. Best part of it all, the store had a view of Lake Arrowhead. Like where else will you see a candy store facing a lake? The prices are reasonable considering the location. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. There is a parking lot nearby. What a fun sweet shop to visit in the Lake Arrowhead Village courtyard! If you have a sweet tooth, love nostalgic candies and sodas, or are just browsing the village on a visit, THIS is the place for you! The shop itself is loaded with all sorts of novelty treats, comical metal signs, stuffed animals, and little trinkets. Everything is neat and organized well. There's even a pick-a-mix section with a variety of taffies and other bite-sized candies that you bag yourself. You can even find some sugar-free selections. Aisles are spacious, so browsing doesn't interfere with those buying - and it sure is a kick to look around this unique shop. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Many times the young ladies have been stocking shelves when I've visited, but they quickly move to the registers when customers are ready. It's hard to NOT find something when visiting Rocket Fizz, and since you're not buying in bulk, it's equally hard to resist shelling out a few bucks to try an old favorite or something you've seen but never tried. For older folks like myself, you're guaranteed to see some candies you haven't seen in years (or assumed were long out of production). Come on in for a treat! read more

I'm not a sweets person but we went to check out the store. It was very well organized, clean, and had so many candy and soda options it was great. My daughter loves Hello Kitty, and they had so many Hello Kitty candy and drink options. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. My daughter got these cute Hello Kitty glass drinks and they put them in a bottle box to keep them from breaking. Looking forward to coming back here again. read more

My best friend we were meeting later in the day wanted some strawberry candies those hard ones with the strawberry filling. Which is so weird she asked me for those cause I was just looking for those last week to buy for her and I but I couldn't find them anywhere, then when she texted asking if we stop to try and find those I was shocked haha. I was so happy they have this amazing candy store near the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory. They have everything here and I love how they decorated and how friendly all the employees were. The kids were having so much fun looking at all the different candies. We found the strawberry candies in the front you can pick a bag so of course got some for her and I. Yay was so happy they had them, I tried to surprise her but she texted asking if I found them LOL so told her I did but was trying to surprise her hahah oh well. It was pretty busy here too and I can't wait to come here again they have even old sodas so cool! Love this candy store, if you have a sweet tooth like me and baby girl haha you would love this store too. Who doesn't love a candy store?! Every major tourist area needs to have one of these! It is a staple. This candy store is great. They have all kinds of things! Cheap candy. And a great selection. You can't beat that. No matter what your craving is, you are sure to find something that your heart desires here. I got black licorice, sour ropes, a mood ring (random I know lol) and some funfetti birthday cake cookie dough bites. Yes, you read that right lolol the cookie dough bites tasted like funfetti cake. Didn't taste like cookie dough balls at all. Funny and fun to try! The line gets long inside. While waiting for a seat at a restaurant near here we popped into this candy shop to kill some time. I really liked this place, there are so many different varieties of candy's, chocolate and pop. My friends and I like to get the weird flavors of soda and try them out. This time I just got something simple, some pocky. But I'd never seen this flavor of pocky before so that was unique. It was a long journey to get to Lake Arrowhead to experience going to a Rocket Fizz, and to the person on the phone who told me before I came they were open this past Veteran's Day, thank you. There were a lot on display in terms of not just sodas from the weird and wonderful, but a wide variety of candies with some that I have never heard of or haven't had since the early 2000s. I went with my significant other the saying of "being two kids in a candy shop" felt very literal with how much we wanted to get but due to day light savings with the days being shorter we couldn't stay for long. We ended up buying a mix mash of different sodas from dirt and enchilada from Lester's Fixins to some Bellville Texas sarsaparilla. Six sodas in total with some candy had our total only go for $30 which was such a surprise since buying on Amazon with no candy and a random assortment would be more than that. Driving up to Lake Arrowhead and getting to see for myself this little bit of candy history was all an adventure that I will be revisiting more once the COVID-19 pandemic dies down.
