If you are looking for some good sweets and treats make a stop here. Took my kids to get some chocolates. They can get pricey for a small piece of chocolate, but anything that makes my kids happy. We enjoyed the free samples at the counter, but service could use some improvement. It smelled like you were in a chocolate factory. Everything looked so delicately scrumptious. Had to stop here to see if they had Dubai chocolate lol and the kids wanted some stuff too. I found a bar of the Dubai chocolate. i didn't open it yet though. Baby girl chose a caramel apple and her two friends chose sour candy yum lol. Walking through the area was so cold and looks like they are doing some construction around the shops too. But we got greeted right away. It was pretty busy everyone needed a treat today :) good choice too lol. They have a lot to choose from, and barrels of candy. We paid right away and the workers were friendly didn't chat with them long but they were nice and helpful. Have to stop here when coming to Lake Arrowhead they have delicious chocolates and so much to choose from it's heaven for chocolate lovers. Tried the caramel covered apple and it was delicious. They offer to cut it for you which is super helpful. Went back the next day and had the "cheesecake" covered apple. Both were good! Next time I'll try a different flavor. FYI: wet naps are available at the register in case your hands get messy from the apple. read more

We came here looking for the chocolate factory, and although the location was a little tricky to find, it was well worth it once we got there! I was so excited to see everything. They had an amazing selection of candied apples, fudge, chocolates, and candy--not to mention my favorite, chocolate-covered gummy bears. The chocolate apple with toffee was absolutely delicious. Google said they closed at 7 on Saturday. Was our last day in Arrowhead looking forward to getting a caramel apple. We got there at 4:55 and was looking through the window to decide what to get. Tried to go in at 5:01 turns out they close at 5 and didn't update it on google. Asked if they would let us in since we were there already looking and they said no and we're very rude about it. One of our favorite stops when at the Lake Arrowhead Village. Lately the selection has been very low, but I was able to get a cheesecake caramel apple which I love. It's delicious. They have many flavors to chose from. They also sell fudge, some cookies and bags of candy. Looks like lack of visitors during the pandemic is hurting their business a lot. I sure hope they survive so we can continue to visit the village and have some yummy snacks. It's very important to support small businesses everywhere so they can stay open. read more

We were so excited to visit this shop! When we walked in, three Hispanic ladies were behind the counter. They looked at us, glared, and continued with their conversation. No "welcome" or "let us know if you need any help". They acted as if we were bothering them but there were literally no customers in the store. They turned the lights off on us while we were looking around and started laughing. I asked if they were closing and one lady rolled her eyes, turned the lights off back on, and stated they didn't close for another three hours. We chose an old fashion piece of fudge and an English toffee square. She tossed our items on the counter, rang us up, crumpled our receipt, and told us to have a nice day. Very very disappointed with the customer service. I hope we have a different set of employees when we visit again. read more

Stopped here while my family and I were walking around Lake Arrowhead Village and to use our 10% discount coupon we got in our welcome pack from Lake Arrowhead Chalets. What a sweet deal! Not only did they have a variety of chocolates but they had gummies which of course my kids went nuts about . I came in mostly to get some chocolates for some gifts for other family members but also something for myself. I got some chocolate covered marshmallow caramels and sugar free honeycombs for me and some milk and dark chocolate almond and pecan clusters for my folks. Kids picked out some Jelly Belly gummies and rock candy lollipops, and the missus got a variety of truffles. Well organized and clean shop with friendly and helpful staff. I am bummed and really disappointed that this place serves food that is old and unacceptable. I paid $7.00 for a caramel apple, I should get my darn money's worth! Of course, I didn't notice it till after the 15 minute drive; when I open it to share with my husband. For a place that has the word "chocolate" in the name, this is ridiculous... the dark chocolate shouldn't be allowed to sit there long enough to turn white and chalky. Who knows what else is old, and bad kitchen practices they use now. We walked in and were the only ones there yet the woman behind the counter did not turn around to face us and then walked into the back room leaving us standing there. She was working on her own time and helped us when she felt like it. Also agree that the apples are NOT the things to buy here. They sit in the window and unrefrigerated. Came here today because I took a family road trip with the hubby and baby boy and ran into rocky mountain while walking around the village. I love this niche chain and always enjoy going inside and picking out a little something when I find one. I haven't been to one in over 10 years so I was super excited to check it out. We walked inside and could instantly smell the delcious chocolate that is rocky mountain, it's too bad that the employees were not as sweet. The women behind the counter did not seem to want to help us at all. We asked for recommendations and they hardly had any suggestions. We ended up playing it safe and just got a couple turtles and mint patties with totalled about $8 for 4 tiny pieces of candy. I knew rocky mountain was not cheap but for the level of service we received you would think we were ordering at a 7 eleven. This is a place that we ask ways stop at for a sweet snack. Of course it's a franchise, so similar to most of the other RMCF's. This location seems to have a great staff, they have always been attentive and patient with me when shopping. The selection is good, and they always have the amazing looking chocolates on display to lure you in! Why only 3 stars? Unfortunately I have been served chocolate a few times that has been, well aged to long. :( The staff always apologizes and gives me a fresh item, but it seems to happen more often than I would expect. read more

Never ever have I had a bad experience here. We have a family home up here and every time we come up we make sure to get a Carmel Apple of some sort. Always tasty and always fresh. One week we were here we went every day so we could try a different Carmel Apple. Avalanche is our favorite. read more

The customer service is extremely lacking here. We ordered their soft serve ice cream and the rest of our group had the regular ice cream. However, the soft serve tasted like exhaust or gas. Unsettling, I know. They did let us exchange for regular ice cream after commenting that maybe their cream had expired. Sadly, the regular ice cream was bad too. It had ice crystals/freezer burn. The place was not crowded, however the girl running the cash register decided to take her bad mood out on me. I was ignored for several minutes whiles standing directly in front of her. When she finally decided to look up she asked me if I would like something. I pointed to each thing I wanted and watched her pull each tray out. I looked down to get my cash and then took the bag and left. I should have checked my back before I left but didnt think I had to since I watched her pull out each tray. When I got home to Los Angeles, my order was wrong. It seems like she pulled out trays because she knew I was watching, but then intentionally put the wrong items in. I had half of what I wanted. The rest was different stuff from my order. We all have bad days, and customer service can be taxing. I know, I used to work retail also. However, I didnt deserve to be the target at whatever internal rage this particular person felt. It seems like she went out of her way to screw up my order.
