What's next? Paying money to get into the store to look around, God forbid you change your mind and don't want to buy anything. I called to inquire about this insane fee, because I had never heard of anything like this before, and was greeted by the owner who was incredibly rude on the phone and insisted that it's a waste of time to let people try on shoes without buying them. I asked how long it might take to try on shoes and he told me "up to 15 minutes" - So, to recap, this is $20 for 15 minutes of his time. I wanted to ask if you still get charged $20 if you intend on buying a pair of shoes but don't like the fit, style or simply change your mind - but he hung up on me. There are plenty of leather shops and cobblers in the surrounding areas that deserve your business more than this place. I'll be surprised if they stay open for the foreseeable future if this is how they treat a simple inquiry to a bad business practice.

I was told you could have one available in about a week. Your store took my measurements and contacted me when it was ready. Thirty-five years later I still own and ride the same motorcycle. Thirty-four years later I still wear the same leather jacket I bought from Champlain Leather in 1991! I have put over 110,000 miles on the motorcycle crisscrossing the country wearing that jacket. The leather has held up against the elements. The liner is still in perfect condition. The only thing that did not last was the zipper pull. I am not surprised to see you're still in business with the quality of your products. I live in Arizona now, so it is a little difficult to stop in and shop. We were greeted immediately when we walked in by the amazing woman working in the store that day (this past Monday, January 25th). But..we were literally speechless upon entering the store because it was so beautiful, we almost couldn't respond to her. You can look through racks easily, try on scents as needed, (the Kai perfume...perfection), and so much space to walk around and browse, without feeling crowded.
