I signed up for a monthly plan 2 months ago, I have gone twice so far to get my wash, no issues. I've been back at least 6 times since and they are always closed for maintenance. I understand they are going through an ownership change, I was told they were getting all new equipment, the previous owner did not maintain the equipment, that's why they're closed, etc. All I hear are excuses. Their website is down, no redirection to the new owner. How can I get in touch with them?!? How about posting an update on when we can expect them to reopen? Rocket Wash is a horrible and untrustworthy Company to deal with! Early January I went there for a car wash and it cost me hundreds of dollars in damages to my carz when the brushes forced open the fuel lid and ripped it off the hinges. At first the attendant took pictures of the damage and wrote up a damage report, assuring me that they will look after it and reimburse me for the damage. I called them back a few days later and their manager, Leo Diaz assured me that it is being looked after. Several weeks later, after not hearing from them, he told me that their claims department declined to pay for the damage, even though it was clearly caused by their perhaps misaligned equipment! read more

Stay away from this car wash! The ownership there does not care about their patrons and do not uphold the noise ordinance laws of Fort Myers. I've supported this location as it was convenient to my house. However many times while I was there they allowed people to play their music as loud as it would go. The straw that broke the camels back was when a woman's music was so loud, her windows in her car were shaking, and the car doors were vibrating. She opened all her doors and it was so loud I couldn't talk to the person in the stall next to me who was also upset. When I asked this woman to please turn down her music, she ignored me and kept on wiping her car. I presented the situation to Rocket Car Wash management, and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I said this is your property and you're the business owner. You can ask her to turn her music down. Besides the volume is so loud it's actually against Ft Myers noise ordinance. The technician who was obviously not the owner of the car was said no he wouldn't do that. I've since cancelled my membership and moved on to a better more professionally managed car wash. read more

Been using this car wash for over 2yrs over 250 times and decided to wash my car on Dec. 1, 2024. As I was going through the car wash I heard that the blower sounded extremely louder then normal because it drowned out my music, all of a sudden I heard a loud bang on my car. So where I go to vacuum when I walked to the back of my car a big plastic molding just broke right off, the guy had to shutdown the carwash to retrieve the parts of my car. I immediately went to the office and told them to come look and he told me to fill out a damage report which I did. Well here is my warning to you all, if your car gets DAMAGED this unscrupulous business owner will refuse to fix it and Accuse you that it was your fault and you BROKE it. My blood boiled he called me a liar well on camera my car was perfectly fine Not even a door ding or scratch. I tried several times to have them get it fixed they are ghosting me by phone. I called the dealer the 2 parts are $1,000 then probably the body shop will charge 500. I will have to go another avenue with these unscrupulous owner for he is not a honorable/dishonest business practices, I said that's why you have Insurance for these type accidents. I have many pictures showing my car was perfect until I used this faulty facility. You will get screwed over by him if your car is DAMAGED they will not pay for the damage Leo Diaz just gave me lip service the owner of this Car wash is NOT a honest business owner. I was looking for an efficient and affordable car wash since I moved to the area. I got the $21.99 monthly package and noticed going thru I didn't have everything I wanted being cleaned in the package so I upgraded to the highest package ($30btw) to find out that STILL doesn't use all the services. (So like do i have to pay extra for the waxing ontop of what I already pay for?) Not only that their hours state they close at 6:30 yet i try to come after work at 6:11pm to be exact everytime & I arrive for it to be CLOSED and not a person in sight. Extremely frustrating as I spend $30 a month and I can barely get in here 1-3x a month if I'm lucky on the weekends and have time. The phone number doesn't work. Only thing I like about this place is the rags and spray they provide. Other than that I'm canceling my membership next time I can see someone or even get an actual phone number. read more

I notice that I couldn't add the bug spray because it wouldn't let me, I asked the gentlemen with the glasses ( chubby light skin male with a beard) that I came here to purposely get the bugs out he then walks away from me like he doesn't want to hear why I have to say, my husband then asked for manager he says "he's the manager" we asked why couldn't we add on the bug spray to get off the bugs (by the way the gentleman's of super rude with an attitude, I'm never coming here again) and it's unfortunate because I live near and would have loved to be a member but due to his lack of customer services I will NEVER COME HERE AGAin read more

I came here because it was close to my friends place and i was planning on waxing my own car and figured i'd get a light wash done to my car. their machine only gets soap on half of the car and barely on the other side. i finish passing through and i see there is soap all over the back of my car. i came back and showed them and they said "we were going to wipe it off but you continued driving." after this, they offer another wash. we got through again and come out with even more soap on it, but they come over and wipe it off. i look at my front of my car while helping them dry it off, and it completely pulled off my front plate from my car. i mentioned it and said "is it possible for your machine to have pulled off my front plate?" they guys told me yup it happens to any car that comes through here. i was like oh my god and the guy told me "sorry about that" and proceeded to walk inside. i wouldn't ever come here if you care about your car. they destroyed some of my property while i paid for a service, and didn't try to fix anything. they told me to take my plate off and bend it back. i wasn't sent a manager or offered anything to help fix the problem. don't come here. ever. Update! I got a call 3 days after the event as a follow up on my damage claim and was told there was no malfunction with their equipment that would've caused the damage and that they don't cover plate damage. I was also told after i mentioned that there was soap all over the back of my car that they had a rinsing problem that day. they told me the person who helped me misspoke about plates being bent all the time, and was then offered a gift card to come back, which would in turn just damage my plate again since there weren't any malfunctions that day, it was normal. I told them I had no interest in coming back and that the gift card would be of no interest to me. They then offered a refund on the wash i got, and mentioned they gave me a free wash already that they sent me through to fix the soap all over my car the first time, when it just made it worse. The call was nice for a follow up, just shocked that they think offering another wash to mess up my plate again was a good strategy. Crappy car wash, and they admit as little fault as possible. Brief Overview I pulled up to the automated teller machine and paid for a $12.00 car wash, I believe there was a tire polish service included. The car wash only took a few minutes or so. Was I satisfied ?? No, but here's why. The machine seemed to do a good job of washing the upper part of the car, from about mid door level up to the roof. However, the machine, did a terrible job of rinsing the vehicle off, especially towards the bottom panels of the car. The bottom half of the car was poorly rinsed, which also means that it left soap and tire shine on the bottom of the car. I'm assuming the tire shine is just sprayed on the car at what is assumed to be wheel height. This means that my car had a waxy, or oily like substance left on the bottom panels of the car, and on the the sides of the front and rear bumper. I asked an attendant if they had water or a hose that I could use to finish rinsing my vehicle off. He informed me that the hose was broken. I obtained a water bottle and had a few microfiber cloths in my car. I used the water and cloth to wash the soap and tire shine from the bottom of my car. To rewash the bottom of the car took me about 30 minutes since the tire shine that was on the bottom of the car was oily, which took more time to wash off. Overall, I give it a 2 out of 5. In the time I spent cleaning off the bottom panels of the car, I could have just done a really nice hand wash. If you're looking for a quick wash job, this will do it. But if you want a quality wash job do it yourself, or take it to a wash and detail place. At the very least do yourself a favor and bring extra cloths and water to finish rinsing your vehicle off. The free vacuums afterwards were a nice touch. They worked without issue. read more

'Quicky' car washes have never impressed me until I used this one. They are often low cost and for a reason. I can honestly say that I'm very impressed with this self-serve car wash. I shouldn't say self-serve in a traditional sense as it's an automated car wash but you need to drive your own car through yourself and then, if you want to vacuum your interior, it's DIY. The wash/wax appears very good. My car looks very glossy after going through the wash and it's the first automated wash that gives the tires a wet look sheen (with the medium-priced wash or higher). It's better than any of the higher cost full-service car washes I've used in the Fort Myers area prior. I've been impressed enough where I signed up for their monthly car wash program today and decided to write a review. For $20 I get five washes per month of the next to best wash. It's normally $12 for an individual wash so even if I go at least two times a month I've spent less than if I paid for two individual washes. I'm hard to please and I'm very glad to have found this car wash. Very impressive sheen to my car for a great price - at least with the mid-grade wash/wax. ADDED NOTE (in response to some other reviewer's concerns): I read at least one other reviewer who complained about the fact that there was foam wax dripping off the car after the washer is done. Admittedly, I always keep a towel in my trunk and hand dry my car after the wash - I'm very picky about water spots and streaking. If you towel off your car after the wash, it resolves any problem with remaining wax residue. Most full-service car washes that I've been to always towel dry customers cars as well because they understand this is necessary for a spot-free result. read more

BEWARE OF THEIR WASH CLUB!! The club is set up to screw you out of washes. First the expiration date isn't really the expiration date! It is 1 minute after midnight so if you go on your expiration date expecting to use your last wash, forget about it! Your washes actually needed to be used the day before expiration. But that should only burn you once. They way they rip you the most is if you want to freeze or pause your membership if you go on vacation or want to take a break since it rains every day in the summer. I asked the manager on duty when to notify since I suspected it needed to be done before your next monthly payment. But he told me to let it renew and then go on line and cancel. I did as I was told and halfway through the month I was notified that my membership was paused but I lose the 4 remaining washes that I paid for. I contacted their shot caller and her only response was "what was the name of the person that told you that?" Who the hell knows the names of their car wash employees?? I am not from the area and found this car wash here on Yelp. Chose it because of reviews and I can't tell you how disappointed I was. Probably one of the worst, if not thee worst car washes I have ever used. I chose the middle wash ($12) and I had green stuff dripping from my car, tires looked awful, and streaks all over. **UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS REVIEW** Received an email today from Yelp saying owner wanted my pictures taken down, which were screenshots of the email communication I had with him. Doesn't want you, the consumer to know that if your vehicle is damaged they will do NOTHING to take care of you! **WARNING: Use at Your Own RISK** Visited Rocket Shine one Saturday afternoon in January. Realized after that visit, my radio was not working. Didn't pay it much attention for the first couple days, thinking it may just be an issue with the station over the weekend. Soon realized however that the car wash actually crushed my antenna.I called and spoke with the manager who told me to come up and fill out a damage claim sheet. For me it wasn't life or death so I stopped by the following week on Saturday to fill out a claim form. Was told that within two business days the owner would be in contact with me. I am a patient person so I said no worries, if I haven't heard by Thursday I'll reach back out or stop by. Didn't hear anything all week so I stopped back by on the following Saturday and was told the form was forwarded to the owner, the staff apologized and resent an email to him and I once again went on my way. Another week goes by and I stop by again this time on a Friday afternoon. Still no word from the owner. No communication. No emails. No text. No we're reviewing your claim. No anything. Staff has to apologize for the owner again and resend. At this point I'm irritated, but lower level employees are obviously not empowered to make any decisions so I won't project my anger on them. Another few days pass and I still have heard NOTHING from anyone. This time i call and speak with the manager again, leave my information again, and this time I ask for contact information because obviously he's not responding to his employees. The manager obliges an email address and I still give the owner a few days before I finally breakdown and email him directly. He comes up with a story about having to submit your claim within 8 days (which was never brought up initially) and how there is nothing they can do about it.So after no communication for almost a month, the only thing he could say is it was submitted outside of the "window." What I believe is, they did not look at the video for almost a month, and only after my persistence did he decide to respond. Besides that, I would have been left with no communication. I wasn't impressed. My car was still dirty after the basic wash...maybe the water pressure was too low? There was thrash all around the ground when I pulled around to dry and vacuum my car. That's just poor management. I think it's absurd that they charge $1.00 for the floor mat cleaner machine. I've been to many car washes throughout Florida and have never send any charge for floor mat cleaning. Since I only needed to clean two of my floor mats and didn't want to pay extra, I decided to beat them against the curb and that just left my wrists and forearms full of dust. Some suggestions for management...1) have the attendant who is directing the cars into the drive-thru wash (or an assistant) pre rinse the front and/or back of the cars with a long handled brush. This requires little effort and works wonders to loosen the dirt that's on most cars. 2) clean up the debris in the grass and all around the facilities plus clean the pavement around the vacuum area where there are many oil stains on the ground. 3) make the floor mat cleaning machine free...don't make the experience feel like an airlines where they nickel and dime you for everything. Overall, you'll win in the long run when your place is improved and will reap the repeat business. For now, I'd rather not return unless these changes are made and would prefer to wash my car in my driveway next time. read more
