Can't say enough about how friendly this park is, definitely driven by Nick and Sue. They were so welcoming and helpful, and definitely give this park a special feel. That likely explains why they have so many longer-term RV residents. Our cabin was on the small side for us, primarily because our group was larger than originally expected. With six folks sleeping in our cabin, everyone had beds, but we were definitely getting to know each other... :) However, our cabin also had a great deck outside (can you say "morning coffee?", and everything was clean and functional. We also enjoyed the "loaner cats" that were around the park -- our teenage kids loved playing with them. No idea if we'll ever be back to Creek Hollow, but would certainly recommend it.

First let me say the park is a peaceful place to relax on my days off. There are several full time residents as well as transient campers, but it is never noisy. The park has all the amenities you could need. There are bathhouses that are clean and a laundry facility (2 washer, 2 dryer $1.50 and $1.00 respectively). There are a pool and hot tub. WiFi is also included. The sites are wide and level. We came in late at night and Sue was happy to accommodate us. The entrance hill is rather steep but we had no issue with our 38' rig. There is also a back way to exit if needed. The park is very shaded which is wonderful in the TX heat and the plants are beautiful. I love watching the hummingbirds and swallows. There are also resident cats who mind their own business and do not bother anything. (I'm not really a cat person) The cabins for rent seem cute! I would stay here again!!!

We have a 29 ft camper with a slide out and it fit us well with enough room to park the truck next to us. It was near everything we needed and a very nice and peaceful site. We floated with them one of the days too and our get out was literally our front door. The bathroom was about half way down from the entrance and we were the second to last spot. The showers were by the entrance and you need quarters for the water to have some pressure. There are only two showers so the lines got pretty long at night when people were getting ready for bed. All the staff were so nice and helpful. They go around and pick up trash, deliver ice to your site when brought from their little store, and one lady took my tubes back to the front for me when she was picking up the trash. I'm already looking at dates to go again before it gets cold.

I asked if they provide a military discount since I am in fact a disabled veteran and his response was no. Then I asked if I can just pay for a daily pass since I was only going to be there that evening and half the day the next day being the 4th of July and his response was no I can only purchase a 3 day pass at $12 per adult. Well I ended having to pay $99.62 to gain access to this campground and if you do the math 2 adults at $12 a person for 3 days does not equal $99.62. This place is a scam and take advantage of disabled military veterans! I would give this place a negative number of stars if there was that option!

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin, with a loft. Things we liked: the fan in the living area, full kitchen, the beds were comfy, friendly staff, ability to rent a golf cart, laundry area, playground and pool! Things that could be improved: thorough cleaning after a pet stay (I'm very allergic to cat/dog dander and stayed in the loft with my toddler and if I didn't have socks on my allergies were BAD due to the carpet), a few pieces on trim kept falling off by the door(which normally I wouldn't care but my curious toddler kept touching the exposed nails), no blinds in the loft and shower is SHORT (I'm 5'4" and was bending down to wash my hair). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I could see how it could be loud for some people, but our cabin was on the non-highway side so we had a quiet and peaceful trip. We would definitely stay here again next time, just in a bigger cabin!

Not sure why you should lose your deposit along with the days you pre-paid for. Oh, well. The one real problem we had was an animal died on the property behind our trailer and was terrible, especially with the heat. Management said they told the owner of the property and that the owner removed the animal. The overpowering smell remained. So we had several days we could not go outside without gagging. Smell remained until the day we left. My husband mentioned it a couple of times. I think something more should have been done.
