What started off as a decent experience shortly turned into a nightmare. After giving our initial deposit to Myssi Kelly of 6006.96 for her to outsource to The Carport Company in Ocala to build our building things went sour. First of all it began with her so called AMAZING "CONCRETE" guy who does all her slab pours for her. He showed up at our property and was a complete joke. Not to mention discussing with my husband how a couple of his workers get high and go off and smoke on the job. Like WTF? That's a HUGE red flag as well as a liability especially being on our property about to pour concrete. Then the guy decided to ghost us and never returned calls. We reached out to Myssi and she claimed to be clueless. We then decided to use another concrete company which was amazing and we had to do the footwork on our own. Second, The Carport Company point of contact Brenda was who was assisting us was a complete joke. She never communicated properly with us and was eventually fired half way through the process of them engineering our plans. When we received the plans and submitted them to permitting that was the last we heard from her until another young lady called us and stated Brenda got fired and now she is our new point of contact. (Which Myssi also claims she did not know she was fired). I find it kinda funny that if you are selling a product and outsourcing you would be very aware of these things. It doesn't stop there, upon delivery of our materials to start the building, our installer shows up and asks us where the scissor lift is? We look at him like what are you talking about? We were never told this and this was the first time hearing about it. My husband decided to reach out to the company and speak to them and the lady stated yea your supposed to rent it and should have been told that. No worries she says you can go rent one from Sun Belt for the small cost of $2000. WHAT? You have got to be joking. We called Myssi and she says, I'm not saying I did tell you & Im not saying I didn't tell you all that but I believe its in the contract. Really? Don't you think that is a key point to discuss to clients especially when they are spending a shit ton of money on a product you are selling? Needless to say, before we pulled the trigger rent it their installer (who's name I will not mention) proceeds to tell my husband that the materials and product that were sold to us was definitely not the product that he was delivering. He stated he did not feel comfortable installing the building because it was not safe and if he installed it we would not be happy with it. He also stated it would not be secure due to the steel tubing that was sent out for such a larger build. H then states it is typically used for your smaller shed units. He also stated the building would sway. This is your top installer and he is supposed to build a unit that you claim is worth 60,000? My husband and I decided not to have them install the building after speaking to him and he stated that we should look at other companies because we would not be satisfied. We reached out to Myssi to let her know what was going on and she was like what? Your kidding me? Like she had no clue and basically stated she has never had this happen before. Needless to say Myssi said, she needed to make some calls and would be back in touch with us later. Later came and went and didn't hear back from her. My husband called the next day to speak with her and now she says she has anther gentleman who can come out and talk to us about building our building. I mean are you serious? After everything we have been through at this point we just wanted our deposit back so we could go on our marry way. Myssi refused. She claims she did everything she could to justify keeping it but of course this is incorrect. Trying to scramble to find someone else to build our building doesn't justify ALL the issues that have taken place not to mention why on earth would we even trust anything you offer us now. Truth of the matter is we now have a blank slab of concrete, three piles of fill dirt sitting in our yard which we paid for prior to the deposit given, no building & no justification as to why Myssi feels she DESERVES to keep our money and not refund it to us or even portion of it as we tried to discuss with her. She feels she can justify why she is keeping it. I will continue to spread the word on what a terrible experience we had and also what a shallow human being Myssi really is. Don't let that fake smile fool you! My husband & I have chalked it up to donating to the low life Myssi charity. That is exactly what she is and what she represents. I truly hope in the future her karma comes back to bite her because we all know it always does.
