The cafe is very spacious, and there is a lot of seating for casual hangouts or studying. There is free Wifi. Service is very fast and the workers are very kind. There is only 1 size of drinks and not too many options, which I like. I think too many options can be overwhelming. I got the Jasmine Oolong milk tea, and it's sooo good. I prefer less sweet drinks, and 50% sweet definitely delivered that. Boba is lightly sweet and QQ. I've never tried their food, but I would be interested in it!

It seems like a popular hangout place for highschool and college students especially over the weekends. We tried out one drink to start: Jasmine Oolong Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Honey Boba ($6.70) - The taste of the tea is very interesting. It's gives off a malty aroma and a certain earthiness with roasted caramel notes and only a slight rounded flowery fragrance instead of the brighter flower notes in jasmine green tea. The drink isn't too sweet at all at 50% and the creamer amount used is appropriate, which really allows the tea flavors to shine. The ice level is a bit too much though - with the drink done there were still a lot of unmelted chips of ice on the bottom. The boba is sticky and soft on the outside, clearly marinated in honey for a while. The interior, unfortunately, has a much firmer bite and is rather rough in mouthfeel. It's a pleasing soft bounce for much of the pearl until reaching closer to the center. They don't give enough boba for the drink, with all the pearls running out with about a fifth of the liquid remaining. They don't have enough caffeine to make me feel jittery and it's pretty small and very yummy! The one thing that bothers me about shareteas is that instead of having a digital or printed menu with the new or limited time drinks they will just print standard sized pictures and paste them randomly around the store. I feel like this makes people miss out on the limited time flavors and I know that personally I never notice the posters until I've already ordered. I think both the store and the customers would benefit from a digital screen used for the rotating drinks!

We had tiers for our desserts and sandwiches. There was a variety of six different sandwiches and about five different desserts. I really liked the jalapeño jam sandwich, it was different and I also liked the bread pudding. In the middle tier of the desserts there were these big scones and we each chose our topping. I was expecting the topping to be in a ceramic container but it was in a plastic one. Nothing particularly bad about that just something to note! From the moment you step inside, the place feels incredibly inviting. I could write a novel about how adorable it is. Each tea room has its own theme--ours was Alice in Wonderland, which was perfect for our 4-year-old companion. Kids are warmly welcomed, and they even have special kid-friendly plates. The food was average, but the tea was the star of the show. We tried several varieties, sharing among our group, which is definitely the way to go if you want to sample a bit of everything. When they stopped passing the iPad through the window, they started verbally asking the customer "do you want to leave a tip?" When I am specifically asked that question, my answer is always "no" and if I have the energy to be patient, I then take a couple of sentences to explain why. After this scenario occurred several times, I just stopped coming in. Today after several months I came in, it happened once more. I won't be back in the near future as a result. As former waitstaff, I would have been fired for any proactive reference to a customer about them tipping me. To do so is at best bad server etiquette.
