As of 11/19/25, which is early season, you can buy a 4 lb bag for $10. While I was there, one farmer was sorting the oranges out by size. Apparently, the medium ones are the most popular. You could buy small ones for $1.50 per pound. Mandarins were attractive and juicy. Update: It's the sweetest and easiest to peel of the three different bags I bought on 11/19/25. Blue Goose Produce is associated with Westview Growers. If I remember correctly, there are 1500 mandarin orange trees in their orchards, so you can buy mandarins there until April! Farmers are friendly and informative to chat with. In October 2025, I believe I spoke with the owner Mark about the Blue Goose decor. One antiquities specialist soon found him a large metallic goose after he requested it. He painted it dark blue himself. This goose gets outfit changes to match the holiday! His family has been collecting blue goose decor over many years, which you can find throughout the store. I learned that a female goose can just be called a goose. A male goose is a gander, and Gander Taphouse is in the same plaza. Yesterday I learned that mandarin oranges taste better a day or longer after they have been picked. It takes time for them to sweeten. You can find a variety of local farm goods here, such as honey, scented candles, Earth & Vine products, local Newcastle Mandarin Ranch products, and Petaluma Creamery cheeses. You can buy pies here. I might call ahead to ask about available flavors. You can find limited produce here. I've bought a large tomato, finger grapes, and a ruby grapefruit here. The strawberry farm is family owned and located not too far from other businesses in the area if you wanted to find something to eat or find somewhere else to hang out afterwards. There was a food truck, Laopino, that had delicious lumpias, music, a bubble machine, plus a few games and activities to keep the little ones occupied, and shaded tables to enjoy your fresh harvests. :) Tickets are only available online. Weekend tickets are released on Thursdays at 7 pm. When choosing our date and time it shows we only had an hour to pick but really we got to take our time and enjoy our morning. I feel they show you have a one hour slot to help stagger guests in. I love how they had a little gift shop set up, another tent with fresh flowers, drinks, and beautiful cookies at the register to purchase. The strawberry fields had plenty to choose from. We saw lots of bright red ones varying from all sizes. The staff also informed us there were 6 types of strawberries being grown! My kids enjoyed only for a short while and mainly wanted to stay in the kid area. There are also plenty of photo ops on the farm too! We would absolutely return in the future. Highly recommend!

On the day we went (reservation on a Saturday from 10-11am) the cost for adults was $12 per person. This includes a small basket per person. They offer 6 different varieties of strawberries, yup you read that right. I had no idea there were more than one variety, so this educational part was cool. The farm can get crowded and with this Sac heat, I highly recommend scheduling your reservation early and on a weekday. The farm is family owned and everyone is so nice. The markets are located from Truckee to Roseville and include seasonal markets, such as this one, as well as year round markets. This market is Saturdays only from June 6-November 21, 8:30am-12:30pm. There is a year round market a few miles away in Roseville in the Whole Foods Market parking lot (at the Fountains on Galleria Blvd. & East Roseville Parkway from 8:30am - 1pm on Tuesdays) . There are typically around twenty vendors at this Rocklin market. All of the produce is sold by the growers themselves so you can really get the inside scoop on their products and how they are grown. There are also items available like fresh baked breads, cookies and even tamales. On this visit there was also a fresh flower vendor, honey vendor and even some live acoustic entertainment. When you buy an item from any of the vendors you can also get a ticket to enter a weekly drawing to win a free item from RC Wiiley. This week's giveaway was for a mini-fridge. Overall, it's a nice little pop-up and I can always count on finding some flavorful items fresh from the farm. They switch items seasonally but they always have the trusted kitchen essentials that people keep coming back for. Mine are the whole coffee beans, milk, brioche bread and the occasional sweet treats like the dark chocolate ganache. Let's not forget to mention the social media driven viral phenomena like those tote bags and various food hacks. Honestly, they don't have to run any ad campaigns anymore. The popularity arc just keeps going up. That iconic Fearless Flyer guide (printed and digital) is an offbeat publication of recipes and visual images which is more comic book catalog showcasing new items versus weekly sales ads. Plenty of parking and plenty of product, still all interesting, unique ane broad based. I like to just peruse the aisles and look over the offerings. There's always something good to discover. As an example the cheese selection is quite good and the pricing lower than many other places. You're not going to find the very top quality but sure good enough. The wine and even flowers are good choices here too. Service is always friendly and helpful. It's a good store! Go and discover something new and different.

The market itself was huge. large crowds, a wide variety of vendors, and something for everyone. was impressed by the great prices on fresh fruits and vegetables. There were also food trucks, rides for children, and even live music which added to the fun atmosphere. Be prepared for a lot of walking because the market is massive I didn't even make it through the entire place and found myself circling around. Even so, it was a great first experience, and my family and I had a really enjoyable time. I'd definitely recommend it for a fun day out, especially if you enjoy shopping, food, and family-friendly entertainment.

It's a big area that you can stroll. Here & there you find tables & chairs to sit under covered areas, but they can be quite dirty & dingy. There were large Connect 4 games (& thank goodness I always carry around my trusty hand sanitizing wipes!) There were a couple of simple kiddie rides. It looked like a band was setting up on a stage to play live music. There are many different food options. We sipped some delicious & refreshing agua frescas from El Ciriancito. We got pepperoni pizza from Montiel's Woodfire Pizza (it was adequate, customer service was not). We also got some street tacos. To be sure, there's randomness, & lots of it. At times, it makes you ask deep philosophical questions about the items we amass. We entertained ourselves with musings on who buys certain things & what is the rest of their life like?? It's mid afternoon, Saturday, June 07, 2025, and I'm enjoying the Rocklin Brewfest 2025 and I'm in the mood for a delicious hot dog. I've come to the right place, as Doggiestyle Hot Dogs was on site, and serving hot dogs for all to enjoy. This is a pop-up restaurant that servers hot dogs at events all over western Placer County. I went with a "Quarter Pound Nathan Dog," How can you beat that for a great hot dog? The dog began with a quarter pound Nathan's Hot Dog, which was grilled to perfection by hot dog chef John, on site, at the Rocklin Brewfest. The dog was simply perfect, and fitted perfectly with the large, fresh bun, which was a start for an amazing lunch. On to the condiments! The trip to the nearby condiment bar was worthwhile, as I added a cornucopia of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, sauerkraut and especially peperoncini, which is a rare treat for hot dogs. I suppose you could call my hot dog loaded? No ketchup whatsoever, as I never desecrate a hot dog by adding ketchup. Not to mention... may I say my dog was loaded with delicious condiments? One bite into the dog I was rewarded with a refreshing "snap," thanks to the natural casing on Nathan's Hot Dog, which made the hot dog both worthwhile and simply delicious. The condiments I added simply enhanced the dog, and didn't take anything away from the amazing hot dog, and the fresh bun. Such a delicious hot dog!
