I heard about this spot a couple years back from my SIL but never made the time to go. Now that my…read morethree youngest kids eat strawberries like they're candy and it was Mother's Day it seemed like the best time to go! Although, it was a bit of a drive for us coming from Sacramento/Elk Grove we were able to maximize our time there. The strawberry farm is family owned and located not too far from other businesses in the area if you wanted to find something to eat or find somewhere else to hang out afterwards. There was a food truck, Laopino, that had delicious lumpias, music, a bubble machine, plus a few games and activities to keep the little ones occupied, and shaded tables to enjoy your fresh harvests. :) Tickets are only available online. Weekend tickets are released on Thursdays at 7 pm. When choosing our date and time it shows we only had an hour to pick but really we got to take our time and enjoy our morning. I feel they show you have a one hour slot to help stagger guests in. I love how they had a little gift shop set up, another tent with fresh flowers, drinks, and beautiful cookies at the register to purchase. The strawberry fields had plenty to choose from. We saw lots of bright red ones varying from all sizes. The staff also informed us there were 6 types of strawberries being grown! My kids enjoyed only for a short while and mainly wanted to stay in the kid area. There are also plenty of photo ops on the farm too! We would absolutely return in the future. Highly recommend!

Being able to include her in picking the strawberries then taking them home to eat fresh off the vine was everything and more. On the day we went (reservation on a Saturday from 10-11am) the cost for adults was $12 per person. This includes a small basket per person. They offer 6 different varieties of strawberries, yup you read that right. I had no idea there were more than one variety, so this educational part was cool. The farm can get crowded and with this Sac heat, I highly recommend scheduling your reservation early and on a weekday. The farm is family owned and everyone is so nice. Would absolutely recommend this idea to families with your kiddos.

The meals are customized to their specific needs (low salt) and tastes, and are delicious. This provides a real variety to their liking. We have even seen an increase in their overall health due to the proper nutrition provided. We pick up the prepared meals weekly from her kitchen in Granite Bay. Chef Sovy has been a true blessing to our family!

She offered me a long list of foods that I could easily mark those I could and couldn't have and then those remaining as to which foods I preferred and those I would not miss if she didn't prepare them. She is also an excellent advisor on the health attributes of different types of foods. My regular schedule is to pick up three dinners have been every Tuesday and Friday late afternoon. She is very accommodating if I need to pick up a set of three dinners earlier than normal because of some unexpected appointment or other interference with our schedule. Her food is always freshly bought by Sovy at local markets herself and presented in tightly lidded plastic containers that only need to have the top removed before you put it in the microwave at home for cooking according to Sovy's instructions (which are very, very simple). She also likes to surprise me sometimes by preparing a dessert for me to try out. In honor of Thanksgiving, today she gave me a luscious dessert made with yellow corn kernels -- it was delicious! (she knew I liked corn!) The meals are very moderately priced approximating the cost of a nice dinner at a good restaurant and I don't have to worry about recipe planning, grocery shopping for dinners, preparation, and cleanup -- and I don't miss doing those things at all. Don't let the strip mall location fool you--the experience inside is phenomenal. The Food: My Chicken Parmesan was perfectly crispy, and the Pea Agnolotti was savory and luxurious. We started with the Caesar salad (plenty for two!) and finished with desserts that were absolutely off the charts. The wine list is also out of this world. The Service: Top-tier. They even shelved our to-go boxes away from the table so we could enjoy dessert without the clutter. Even my husband, who can be difficult to please, was impressed by everything--right down to the heavy, high-quality flatware. It was filling up fast for a Monday night, and it's easy to see why. We are thrilled with this find and will definitely be back!

However your rude and inaccurate retorts to others who said they did get food poisoning from your restaurants needed to be corrected. And, "Paul", you DID tell some poor person that is takes 12 hours to set in"! Don't try and lie now! I am posting part of your OWN rude response to her as PROOF of what you- YOURSELF-actually claimed. And heck NO, we shall never be back! The food was beyond unacceptable. WHY would we COME BACK? You get only ONE chance to make a first impression, and now you have managed to double our negative experience with your restaurant. Bye!
