I checked out with (T, Ariana on my receipt), who was incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. She made my first visit to Trader Joe's feel special and definitely earned a customer for life. I come down to Costco from Auburn a few times each month, and I'll absolutely be adding Trader Joe's to my bi-weekly routine. Especially for more of that crunchy chili onion sprinkle seasoning! I have been more of a frequent shopper to Trader Joe's. They have good prices and great quality food whether you are looking for something simple, vegan, vegetarian, or sinfully delicious... you will have fun finding it here! I love their bbq cut style salmon. The filet cuts are rectangle shapes and about the same thickness all the way across. It helps for more even cooking. I also got a bag of broccoli and cauliflower, a bag of Jasmine rice, and a lemon. While on my shopping trip, I also picked up a flower. The bottom is in wax and you never have to water it. You just need to put it by a sunny window, indirect sunlight and it grows beautifully. They have plenty of plants and floral arrangements to choose from... I want to buy them all!! When it was time to check out, multiple employees here greeted me and asked me how I was doing. They also asked me if I needed a bag... I enjoyed their cheerfulness from the moment I entered the store until I left. read more

This is truly a great, and easy, location for all of you Tradee Joe's afficionado. Good convenient parking, wide aisles and very pleasant staff. Trader Joe's always has a wonderful array of unique food products, and the necessary staples too, plus there's always something enjoyable and different to find. Today I got some very creative and interesting packaged salad kits. These are so easy and convenient when meal prep is a hurried affair. Got some organic eggs and found some amazing choices for Prosecco too, in a variety of price points. Of course, couldn't leave without a treat, some peanut butter chocolate candies! Best quality products, best prices! [Rocklin CA] I still prefer coming to this Rocklin location over the one on Harding Blvd (Roseville Square). Parking here is more spacious. My recent visit here was when I loaded up on treats and goodies to bring to my family and friends in Hawaii since they don't have a TJ's in the 808. Once my luggage was empty I loaded up on chocolate macadamia nuts and other souvenirs and treats to bring back home to Cali for my family and friends LoL! The products are fresh and I always find something easy to whip up for dinner during the week. Prices are great and very affordable. customer service is always friendly. I love seeing the section of fresh flowers as soon as I walk in a TJ store. This particular Trader Joe's is clean, neat and has amazing staff. Most Trader Joe's are kept in good shape, and this one was immaculate. It has all the usual offerings and the produce section seemed larger that the one I am used to. A huge kudos to the staff, in particular the cashiers who worked swiftly to get through an enormous line. By the time I made it to the register, I felt grumpy BUT the cashier was in good spirits and everyone seemed happy. I love the tasty food and having a friendly staff just takes it to the next level. I stopped into this Trader Joe's while running errands. It has a large parking lot with plenty of spots and seemed bigger than the one I usually visit in East Sac. It was a Friday afternoon and they were BUSY! I grabbed a cart and had to walk around a bit to get my bearings as it's set up slightly different than my usual store. I was looking for some of my regular items, cheesesticks, frozen corn, couscous, and salad. I also picked up some seasonal items like butternut squash ravioli, apple cider, and a few odds and ends. Even though it was crowded, everyone was being nice and considerate and the team at the cash registers kept things moving and I didn't wait at all before checking out. I've already been snacking on a few items and I'm glad I was able to stop in while I was in the area. read more

Hi there, my bf and I came here for the first time grocery shopping wise and boy did we have an amazing fun experience. We came in and saw all the cute little tote bags and new lunch boxes for 3.99 or less. So many options to choose from, I can't wait to come back and buy more when I get paid next. We then enjoyed looking at the variety of dips there. They had a chicken buffalo cheese dip, and queso dip my bf and I tried and man was it filled with flavor. Honestly would be good paired with anything! We also got their Sriracha sauce and new garlic and jalapeño hot sauce which has been raving with good reviews. The prices there are the best part too. Very cheap and good prices that I was very surprised to see. I filled my whole cart up with how excited I was with the cheap prices which u cant complain about. My bf enjoyed their beer section that u can find or make ur own pack for a good price as well. The staff was so friendly and made our visit so much fun and also Gave us a free tote bag and some peanut butter cups that my bf devoured and loved. This is my local grocery go to and I am so bummed when I have to go anywhere else. The people are so friendly. They always keep things stocked unlike other TJ's I've been to. Only downside is on weekends it's exceptionally more crowded and a little difficult to shop slow like I do. Would definitely recommend. read more

My cashier Debbie is one of the best employees there. As I was checking out, she checked my eggs and they discovered I had a cracked one. This is the type of service that most grocery stores do not provide. I was very impressed with how efficient and thorough they are. Mid-April Sunday afternoon visit. Though busy the store is not oppressively crowded. Can't say that about the Roseville Trader Joe's store that can be a clogged aisles, traffic jam on Saturday / Sunday. This Rocklin store is clean and neat. Lots of helpful employees. Check out cashiers are friendly & efficient. Parking lot more than adequate size. Though this store is slightly farther from my home than the Roseville location, I'm going to shop in Rocklin because it's a more pleasant experience. read more

My first time visiting this new Trader Joe's. Stopped by at 8am right when they opened. Sooo nice to shop at a Trader Joe's that's not frenzied and has a nice parking lot. The one on Douglas is a little too crowded for me and the parking spaces give me anxiety. So it looks like we'll be shopping at this location from now on! Love how clean and neat the shelves are. Everything is so colorful. Employees are very friendly and helpful. One employee, Lazarus, gave great recommendations for some of his favorites in the store. Opening day at Rocklin Trader Joe's - typical controlled chaos of an opener, but the crew has things well under control! I've been a fan of this chain for many years and in at least three states. The Rocklin location is a welcome addition to the area and will be very convenient to me personally. It's a GREAT location and I'm sure will do well. Much better parking than the Roseville location. Trader Joe's excels in many areas - fresh produce, ready to go or ready to cook meals for one or two people make it ideal for singles or older couples no longer feeding a family... but the families aren't left out by any stretch either. Other strengths are their wine and craft beer sections - not as much as a big box store, but what they've selected is very good. They also have a good cheese section featuring cheeses I can't find anywhere else. Meats are great / again, smallish compared to big box, but great quality with what they've got! The frozen section includes some real handy heat and eat type meals that are GOOD! It's impossible to cover everything in a single review. To sum, it's a great medium sized store that has the advantages of both a convenience store as well as a larger supermarket backed by a top notch buying team that stocks the shelves with unique and high quality products at very competitive prices. So maybe they need to check their produce more often so they won't keep spreading to a lot of batches. I've been to this Trader Joe's twice, and both times the cashiers have for some reason had this burning need to not only comment on the products I was buying, but to interrogate me as to "why" I was buying those items. Frannkly, it's none of their business, and rude to ask a customer why they are buying a product. You can have a friendly conversation with a customer without giving them the 3rd degree as to why they might be buying something. It's really uncomfortable and I won't be shopping here again. read more

On 3.22.2021 I finally was able to walk inside this business location. I usually go to the one located in Roseville Square plaza. But I wanted to walk in this new location just once, to see if the layout is exactly the same. It was actually built a bit different, the inside layout is angled, slanted. Which was very interesting. Also, for it to be around after 3p on a Tuesday, wasn't as busy, crowded compared to Roseville Square location. I actually liked how this layout felt. Definitely different, even tho it's still a "Trader Joe's", produce was on the left upon entering, which I actually liked since I can look at that first. Then again, Roseville Square has their entrance on the right side and their produce is also on that side too.... honestly I liked this new store added. I am so glad they added a new location in Rocklin. It was much needed for another store. Now... if only they can make one on West Park Roseville side or close to Fiddyment and Blue Oaks area. That would be also perfect. I love their prices, so convenient for shopping at their grocery store. Lots of healthy options & it's not so hurtful on your pocket buying from them, compared to Whole Foods or Nugget or even sometimes better than Sprouts prices (depending on item). Honestly I do love Trader Joe's & I hope they do open up a location on West Roseville area. Their prices can't be beat!! But this store.. it's been an amazing experience to walk into, very clean & they are very welcoming upon entering. I like Trader Joe's. I find things here you can't find in other places. Unfortunately not much is healthy. High on salt and sugars on most packaged products. You have to read the expiration dates on many packed product. If you don't you will end up bringing home products going bad sooner than expected. read more

Sold out of almost everything every single time I go there to shop. Order enough product to keep your customers or don't bother carrying it in the first place. I'm sick of coming here only to find half of the items I need to cook with are either discontinued or sold out. Get it together. Update: It's becoming pointless to shop here for food. Basically it's Russian roulette whether you get anything you actually came in to buy. Today, they were sold out of frozen scallops, candied pecans, hard cider, French bread baguettes, unsweetened black tea, and a slew of other products that they usually carry. Bear in mind this was JUST the stuff I was looking for, not counting whatever else they didn't restock on. Outstanding customer service! These days, when customer service is often non-existent, I feel the need to celebrate when I see someone go above and beyond to help a customer. When I was shopping at Trader Joe's in Rocklin over the weekend, I heard one of the employees help a customer with a question and afterwards said, "if you need anything or have any questions at all, anyone here is happy to help you. Don't hesitate to ask". And he was sincere! It was so great to see this after the way I've heard people being treated lately, post pandemic. Covid is not an excuse for a business to be rude or indifferent towards their customers. Trader Joe's has their priorities straight and treats people like they're business is important.
