HAVE to dock it one star because of the non working juke box, that is part of the experience at this type of cafe. My wife enjoyed her roadhouse burger and fries, I also enjoyed my food, the club with onion rings. read more

Neet little place but food is basic and to be honest needs to be updated a bit. Food n par to a back burger joint. The highlight is the popcorn they serve at table. They were a little lite on service causing a delay but not a problem to me. read more

Horrible and expensive! Dry burger and the worst knoephla soup I ever tasted for $16.50!

Rock'n 50's Cafe has been on my list of places I wanted check out, which I did today, and it was a big mistake. - Came in, and we waited for about ten minutes to be seated. We were fine with the wait because they were busy. - When we were seated, the floor around our table was dirty with spilled popcorn. We were a little dismayed but fine with the popcorn on the floor because they were busy. - It took longer than it should have for our server to show up and get our drinks, which we understood because they were busy. - To start we ordered drinks, strawberry shake and a root beer. It took quite some time for our drinks to show up, which is understandable because a shake take time to make. - When the drinks were delivered , the server mixed up who got what drink, annoying but not a big deal. - Our order did not get taken until the drinks showed up. A bit unhappiness there as we sat there with our menus closed in front of us, a clear signal to any decent server that we are ready to order. Annoying, but stillt not a big deal. - It took a while for a food to arrive, a Ruben and a Bacon Cheeseburger, both with fries, the Bacon Cheeseburger was asked for with lettuce, tomato and onions. - The Ruben and fries were good, no complaints there. - The bacon cheeseburger was very disappointing. The burger had zero seasoning, the lettuce was more like the decorative plate lettuce than type you'd ever expect to see on a burger. The bacon... the bacon wasn't cooked properly... like hardly at all, nearly raw. - We had no choice but to ask for the manager and send the burger back. - When we seen the server again (Andrew L.), he was very apologetic about the burger. It wasn't his fault, nor was I going to hold it against him (tip-wise). - At this point, I noticed a few of the kitchen staff popping their head out of the kitchen area looking directly at the table my girlfriend and I were seated at. One lady pointed and said something to another lady, then noticed that I was paying attention to the two of them, and they quickly scurried off back to the kitchen looking a little embarrassed for some odd reason. Was it something they said? - Our server delivered the ticket (bill) to us and quicky walked away... and it wasn't our ticket. We tried to flag him down, which either we were ignored or unnoticed. We tried to flag down another server, who got quite snippy with us, before we were able to our server's attention. Mind you, this took about ten minutes to get his attention from the moment he gave us the wrong ticket and walked away. - When we explained that he gave us the wrong ticket, instead of being gracious or apologetic about it, he copped an attitude, got snippy, stormed off, crumbled the other ticket in his hand, and brought us out the correct one. He basically tossed it at us as he was walking past. - Up until the moment our server got snippy, I was going to give him the "standard" 15% tip, and I would have even added the amount for the Bacon cheeseburger that was returned and taken off our ticket. I generally over-tip to begin with, even if there are mistakes that are out of the servers control. After he got snippy and had a mini-tantrum while walking away, I'm sorry I just could not tip him. Overall, I will not go here again, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. Once was more than enough for me. read more

We had an early dinner in order from rock and 50s Café payid over $30 for three burgers fries and soda I understand understand when you order takeout fries are not gonna arrive home hot but when we got ours in bed into them they were cold inside I mean ice cold when I contacted the owner of rock and 50 to explain that he called me a liar told me how much the temperatures are oil was and how long deep fry them and they can no way be cold inside so I was called a liar didn't get my moneys worth and I will never be back and we were good customers we enjoyed going there in the ambience but after being called a liar and being treated like that never again read more

My friends and i went there for a lunch. The atmosphere is awesome 50 theme (hense the name of the restraunt). I had the burger lunch special and my friends both had the soup and salad. They burger was good but nothing special, my 2 friends LOVED the fries and stole most of them. :) The soup they got was Knoethla and said that it was really good. The decor and the wait staff were what made the place for me plus the reasonable prices are awesome. read more

This place has the worst service, food and prices for said terrible food of anywhere I've ever been. My daughter had the free meal for kids. She had the fish and chips which had a bad smell and the batter wasn't cooked all the way so it was gooey. We didn't let her eat any of it. My husband was unknowingly served scalding hot BBQ sauce that he burned his mouth on, and I was served a tepid burger with cold fries. I really can't understand how they get repeat business. read more
