!!!DO NOT EVER USE THIS PLACE!!! First of all they spike prices over 50% compared to the USPS not even a mile away. For a box that cost me 56$ to ship through USPS it cost 111$ through the Rockport mail center. The owner is a rude and non-accountable manager when something goes wrong. I had given my phone to one of the employees with the address to be put on the shipping label to which he input it wrong. I'm a reasonable person and accidents happen. But to hold my package and make me pay a return fee and be condescending is beyond me. I'd rather walk my package to wherever it needs to go then use Rockport mail center. Extremely rude! I chose this location to drop off a UPS package as the main UPS website states that this is an authorized shipping outlet. The man working the counter told me that they are privately owned and do not do UPS services. When I told him that their location is listed on the main UPS website and states they offer UPS services he told me that's not his problem and hung up on me. I called back to get his name and four digit center number and he told me his name is Matthew, the owners name is Reagan and the four digit center number isn't his problem and hung up on me again! If this is the kind of customer service to be expected from UPS I will no longer be using them for our business and will be using FedEx from now on. Save yourself some hassle and don't use Rockport Mail Center unless you want to be given attitude and hung up on. read more

AWFUL EMPLOYEES. Absolutely do not go here. Drive to Portland, corpus, or any other mail center/ post office. I've been at this location 4 times now, and every time I have gone in I was treated very poorly. Today the woman at the counter went as far as cussing at me because I was asking questions about why they could not mail my package. All around poor customer service. Every employee has the worst attitude I have ever seen. Don't give these people your money, or trust them with your packages. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE and save yourself from being treated awfully. read more

Worst mail shop I've ever seen. They charged me $3.00 to place a piece of tape on my box. Not prepared for such nonsense, I had to charge it where they informed me it was a $4.00 minimum. Charged for a piece of tape on an Amazon free return. Drive to corpus...these people are horrible on top of the over charge! read more

I have read some bad reviews for this mail center. And it leaves me totally perplexed. I find their service to be excellent. I am from Virginia. And I ship stuff home from Rockport quite often. I am not sure if others that left reviews on Yelp have done much of their own packaging. But I have. And I find it to be hard work. Those working at the mail center do it all day. It has to be exhausting work. And yet they have always given me excellent service...friendly and professional. I highly recommend this mail center. read more

I ship packages from here often. The employees are sometimes friendly, more often they can be a little rude. Today they charged me $2 for tape to affix my prepaid shipping label. Said it was to make my package "ship ready." OK. I suppose I could have done that myself at home, but that seems a bit petty...especially because the lady was remarkably unfriendly about it. Rude, rude, rude. Clerk was extremely rude and unpleasant to my 11 year old daughter who ran in to drop off a prepaid package. Not busy in there, but made her feel like she was a nuisance and a bother. They treat me the same way when I go on there too. read more

If I could rate this lower I would. I mailed a package Saturday morning and was told that it would arrive Tuesday evening. Timely arrival was crucial. Monday evening UPS tells me that it has not yet left the mail center. This transaction cost me $63 and I discovered afterwards that I could have printed my own label and had it picked up from my house by UPS and the total cost was $36. The owner also lied about the dimensions that he measured when he measured the box. I paid for 2 additional inches. Don't get ripped off and disasterously delayed. Mail it yourself. Additionally, they completely unpacked an artwork that had to be professionally packed to exacting specifications. He said that the mail center would not insure it unless they took it all apart and took pictures. Which is interesting because it was traveling with UPS and UPS never unpacks my shipments to inspect them. This is a very shady operation. Go to the post office or mail it from home read more

The gals here are so helpful, efficient, fun, and through all my, sometimes last minute, shipping to grandkids, kids and friends, they've always accommodated my needs. They are hard working, and can be so busy during holidays, never slowing down, and totally focused to make certain everyone is properly served. This has been my experience for years. This has always been a great place to mail and take care of my mailing needs but I was met with a very angry man that works there. I needed to write down my tracking number and the previously mentioned gentleman, very rudely shouted at me to not write the number on their card. I guess I was not allowed to take one of their cards for further informational needs and questions later. I was visiting Rockport and needed to fax and ship some items. I was lucky to find exactly what I needed at Rockport Mail Center . The gentleman who works there was helpful, very efficient, and friendly. We talked about our mutual favorite band, the Go-Go's. I'm closing my box as soon as possible. One of the staff is friendly but most are unhelpful and unfriendly. I won't say the man who works there is rude exactly but he is very unhelpful and acts like you are annoying him by using their services. The center closes for everything! You can still access your box but not get packages. And sometimes they don't even give warning of closing. Thankfully I have a stable home address now and can dump these guys. read more

Worst and most unprofessional service for what should be a cake walk job. Every woman working in this facility is rude beyond belief. Called ahead for pricing, then was charged double the price I was told over the phone. They will be upset with you if you bring your own shipping labels and want to refuse you service. If you have anything to say to them about their conduct they will want to refuse your service. Half a mind to take them to small claims court for 2$ over charge just to teach them some morals.
