I loved my experience here so much I feel compelled to write a review. I decided to treat my sore ski muscles and just get some quiet time. This spa delivered! I had Travis as my masseuse and asked for deep-medium pressure. The massage was wonderful! One of the best (and I've had a lot of massages). Front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. There's little snacks and tea/water. There's a jacuzzi and all the other hot rooms. I did the massage in the morning and then enjoyed the rest of the spa after. I came in just for an eyebrow wax and tinting, but they treated me like I was going spend all day there. Amazing service. After my treatment, which was one of the best eyebrow wax (great shaping - a true artist), I was able to stay and enjoy some lemon sherbet. Loved the antioxidant glow and coconut moisture body treatment! Found a cute fuzzy yummy wrap and the steam room, hot tub, amenities, all were on point! Add some hot tea and almonds to snack on and offer alcohol too. The biggest downfall was 20% gratuity added to the high season price of my off season service prices. Tips are at the customers discretion, ALWAYS, don't force it or expect it until you earn it. Good thing my girls deserved it or it would have been unpleasant. Beautiful. Peaceful. Relaxing. Amazing experience! This is was great service is all about. I was staying nearby and The Uber/Lyft situation was not happening. After waiting for over 45 frustrating minutes to be picked up, I finally called the spa to tell them I would be late and had the good fortune of getting Thomas (the Manager) on the phone. Thomas said he would go out to valet to see if there was a car available to pick me up and next thing I know, he himself shows up a at my doorstep to ensure I don't miss my massage. My therapist, Travis, was a total pro. All the post treatment soft touches were very much appreciated (lemon sorbet post massage anyone?). But quite honestly, Thomas blew me away. And when leadership is that invested in customer experience, it certainly inspires a team all around. read more

A friend and I decided to take a day off skiing to spend sometime at the spa. We both had massages which were awesome!! I had Kara (or cara); she was very good!! I also had a shellac manicure which was not so good. The manicure itself was good, and relaxing, but the polish only lasted a couple days. I'll attach some photons of my nails after only 3 days (the nail tech told me this polish is suppose to last 2 weeks). A shellac manicure from the salon near my house (which is $40) usually lasts 7-9 days; this manicure (which was $75) started chipping after 3 days but we had left town already so I couldn't go back in to get it fixed. The spa is very nice with great amenities. There is a steam room, sauna, and a large hot tub along with all the necessities you'd need after a shower. The coconut sorbet, after the massage, was the best I've ever had!! I may go back for a massage but I'll never get my nails done here again! read more

WORST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE. Literally asked for a relaxing massage, medium pressure. I said I don't have any muscles I wanted to be worked on, just there to relax. I was shaken so badly I felt like I was going to throw up. Push so hard on my back it felt like my lungs couldn't get air into them. Pinched so hard on my neck I moved her hands off of me. My husband was getting a massage as well so tried to bear it because he seemed relaxed. I pulled away from her several times and you would think she would have gotten the hint but no. Then when paying I let the woman at the front know and she asked if I still wanted to tip 20%. Seriously? Then said well I can give you 20% off. Ok. I mean if someone was this upset I wouldn't charge them for the service but ok. Awful. Apparently they don't really care if I enjoyed myself so don't bother asking. read more

The Arrabelle Spa is a life saver after a day in the cold. I prefer a very large, unisex spa environment similar to The Standard. The Arrabelle Spa is separate for men and women and is small. The relaxation room is brightly lit and is a causeway for employees. The only way into Storage or employee quarters are directly through the 'relaxation room' which is awkward. The jacuzzi faces a windowless wall. Shoot for the hot tubs in the main hotel on floors 4 and 6. read more

We booked a spa day on Groupon during our short trip to Vail, and I am so happy we did. The spa here was exquisite. The Groupon deal had a 50 minute massage or facial, so I got a facial and my sister got a massage. I have had a lot of facials in my life, and this was easily one of the best. Ulga did a wonderful job, didn't push the products on me. The steam, legs, feet and shoulder massages were amazing, and I left glowing. My sister had a great deep tissue massage and she said that it was one of her top ten massages as well. After our treatments, we were given lemon sorbet while in the relaxation room. The spa amenities are top tier, with a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The showers and changing area is very good as well, and they supply shampoo, conditioner, lotion, curling iron, straightener, blow dryer etc. Next time I am in Vail, I will definitely be coming back! read more

Since I'm sadly unable to ski this winter, so I booked some spa appointments while others went out to ski on a recent weekend and was SUPER impressed with the spa here. We arrived 15-20 minutes early so we wouldn't be rushed with checking in, changing into robes, etc., and I'm glad we did. It gave us a chance to scope out the amenities and think about how we wanted to relax after our treatments....which we definitely did. While I was pleased with my treatment, I think my favorite part of the service was the ability to use the women's locker room. We ended up being in there for almost 2 hours after our appointments were over! Spa, steam room, sauna, nap on the chaise - you name it. I admittedly even took an irresponsibly long shower, but loved every minute of it. By the time we were ready to go, it had stopped snowing and the sun had decided to make an appearance just in time for us to catch up with the rest of the group for dinner at Elway's. We spa-goers of course smelled and looked fabulous, while the other half of our group had to change at the car in the parking lot. :) read more

I was very disappointed with my manicure. They knew ahead of time i had gels that needed to be taken off. I work with computers and the moment i walked in i told my manicurist that i had been typing a lot and needed a hand massage. Sadly the spa didnt do well with time management as i found out they had another appointment immediately after mine. I barely got a hand message (at most a minute) and the nail polish started to chip a day later. I dont even ski/snowboard so its definitely not due to wearing gloves or rough activities. So I am not a girl that usually gets massages. For one, I don't like making appointments to go do something after work that just seems like another errand. For two, my first massage experience was awkward and kind of hilarious so I haven't been too excited to do it again. But since I don't ski and was in Vail for a week, we thought it might be fun to get a massage. Good way to work out the kinks from snowmobiling and snowshoeing if nothing else. I looked at multiple places to get a massage but Arrabelle won out because it was $155 while others were more like $175 and up for 50 minutes. (Let's ignore the fact that I forgot where I booked it and ended up at a different spa before remembering I booked here...DOH! I do drink a lot though...hahaa). You get there and fill out a questionnaire about your health and what pressure you prefer and such. Then they take you into the locker room where you put your stuff in a locker, put on your flip flops and robe, and can relax by the hot tub or get in the sauna or whatever. We just sat there and talked until we went to the waiting room where your massage therapist comes to fetch you. So you get to choose your oil scent - I chose orange so it would be stimulating...last thing I need is to be sleepy and passed out all day. The massage was good, it was relaxing. I didn't talk, the music was quiet and non-distracting. She did a good job draping things and worked a few kinks out on my shoulders and such. Overall, not awkward or hilarious like before...perfectly normal! By the end though I was kind of antsy to get out of there though, so you can see that I may still not be the ideal massage customer. Afterwards they bring you out in the waiting room and give you a little bowl of gelato. I hadn't eaten all day so I ate that gelato like it was the last food on earth. Fucking yum. Then we got dressed. Let me mention that the dressing room was insane. Hair dryers, curling irons, straighteners, pony tail holders, brushes, hairspray, deodorant, lotions, etc. and so forth. Honestly you could likely get completely ready here without bringing anything with you. Also you are allowed to use the gym and the sauna/spa for the day after the massage...if working out is your thing on vacation then that's a good thing. I would say if you like massages then this is a nice spa with good amenities and for a more reasonable price than other places in Vail. read more

Still a nice place but it no longer benefits from my positive endorsement on Yelp. I arrived 10 minutes late -- and that was my fault. But 10 minutes late for a 25 minute massage means that I ended up with about 7 minutes of a pathetic excuse for a massage and still ended up with a $95 tab. Previously I had been a good, loyal and regular customer ever since the spa opened. Next time I guess I'll be looking for a new place. To be fair: their nail salon is second to none. I had such a fabulous treatment at the Arrabelle Spa last year that I had to come back for another round this year after 3 days of skiing in Vail. I arrived about 45 minutes early to take a soak in the luxurious jacuzzi spa to relax and unwind after a day of skiing. I had the Vin Chaud Treatment and after skiing in Vail, this is the way to end your trip. The experience starts with a dead sea salt scrub after which you're wrapped up in a heated wrap for about 10 minutes; during this time the therapist gives you a wonderful scalp massage; this is followed by a body massage and mini-facial. After everything was over and I was in relaxation heaven, the therapist gave me a glass of wine and some coconut sorbet. I highly recommend this treatment. So it was right. This is one of the spot you should try when you in Vail. I heard there's another spa on the other side but I didn't get a chance to check that out. Anyway, I like to go to spa and so far this is one of my favorite. The place is clean and neat, they literally provide everything for you, you can just walk in without bringing anything but yourself and your clothes lol! I got their deep tissue massage for 50 mins, twice! I love it that much hahaha the jacuzzi or hot tub as they called it is a good size. They got sauna and steam room. The shower is fully equip with the stuff you need, the vanity as well. They even provide you hair brush, tooth brush, tooth paste, hair spray, etc.. Try it and you know what I'm talking about. This place is awesome! I definitely recommend getting there early to soak away your cares in the beautiful hot tub located in the lady's locker room. When your done with that you can dry yourself off in the dry sauna or get all steamy in the beautifully tiled room of steam! When your done with that head on out to the relaxation room in the beautiful fluffy robe they give you and just chill out! They have light snacks such as apples, nuts, dried fruit and chocolate covered pretzels! If your appetite is not satiated by those little snacks they have a full spa menu available. My only complaint was that this service was not advertised and I only saw one menu in the locker room! The woman who ordered a yogurt par fit just happened to flag down a spa employee passing through. I am not sure if there is an easier way to get your food. My spa technician came out to great me and brought me to a beautiful room for a great massage. You even get your choice of three oils. Unscented, french lavender or cedar. I did not want to smell like a tree so I picked the french lavender. My masseuse was great and really listened to what I wanted! I then was taken to get my Vitamin Infusion facial. The facialist was very knowledgeable and when I left I felt like I glowed! The best part is until November most services are 30% off! Very dissappointed! OVER PRICED and SUB-PAR results! I went for a mani-pedi with my 6year old daughter and it was the most expensive and useless mani-pedi we ever got! The technician kept messing up my gel mani and I have been to Korean shops that do a better job. I had great expectations from the SPA. Then they charged me $400 (included a 20% tip for each nail tech, bizzare???) and charged me for extras that I never got (maybe they think that people dont look at thier bills and will pay whatever they charge). The techs never informed me of any additional charges. Also they charged full adult rates for my 6 year old for a simple mani/pedi. I have gotten fancier stuff done at the Ritz SPA and never had such an unreasonable bill! When i complained, the lady took $48 off but kept the 20% tip for both techs ... I was so upset with myself for going there. I will never go back there and wouldnt recommend it to anyone for the mani-pedi. read more

They offered a fall special $99 for a 50 minute massage. This special is only until Nov. 20th. I loved this spa- the design elements and details to finish make you want to stay here forever. The floor is made by old rail way ties and it's a beautiful wood floor. The lighting and doors are beautiful. The women's area has a large, really hot hot tub. None of us could stay in it for long. There is a steam room and sauna too. However what makes me give it 5 stars is because of my massage with Olga. It ranks in the top massage I have ever had. It was perfect pressure and she really worked on my neck and shoulders. I was really tight and needed someone to work out the knots. She really knows how to get into the muscles and provide the therapy you need. I was sore the next day which is always a great sign of a great massage. These are the massages I like a little pain not some foo foo relaxation massage with light pressure. A masseuse like Olga is hard to find. I wanted to come out feeling like a wet noodle and I did. I want to plan another girl's trip to Vail and come back to the Arrabelle Spa. read more

If you ever wanted to pretend you were a goddess in Ancient Greece, this is a good spa to try out. The amenities are lovely, with a beautiful separate hot tub and sauna for each gender and great new locker rooms with lots of Rock Resort products to use. The staff is just awesome too -- knowledgable, helpful, and just great at everything they do (mani/ pedi/ massage/ spray tan/ exfoliaton). It's definitely a little pricey, but you will want to eat their cocount sherbet (a treat after your service) and hang out in their relaxation room forever and ever. read more

If you have a choice go to the Bloom spa at the Sebastian. I spent a day at both and Bloom spa was an overall more superior experience. While my hot stone massage at the Arrabelle was excellent (thank you Genevieve!) the spa itself left a lot to be desired. The girl who checked me in was not very welcoming and when I asked her to repeat herself she seemed very annoyed. I had to ask twice for sandals that fit and had to find my own robe in an appropriate size. If their goal is a relaxing atmosphere then they are missing the point. One of the front desk girls was wearing high heeled boots and she would come stomping through the relaxation room and at one point a mop bucket full of very dirty water came through the relaxation room. It unfortunately wasn't very tranquil. As well, the supplies in the locker rooms weren't kept stocked. No clean brushes, the shower gel was empty and laundry overflowing. read more

I had a facial treatment there. I am 30 years old, my skin is good and it does not need much. This was the most aggressive facial i have ever had. I had red stains on my face for 3 days after the treatment, my skin felt sensitive and burned! This review is only for the facial treatment. My friend had a massage and body treatment and she was very happy with it. I will never go back there for the facial but I am wiling try their body treatments next time I visit. read more
