Gave credit card to hold a vehicle (due to not being able to reach any financing options on a Saturday being a smaller car lot) and was promised a call Monday, no return call. Monday afternoon I went ahead and emailed sales rep as well as through website directly, again no response. So Tuesday I decided to call and at that time it was explained that the sales agent was fired, and no longer with the company. At that time I asked if she had my file and could check if my credit card information was in it as last thing I wanted is for a disgruntled employee is to have my personal credit card information. She said she would check, as well as have the owner reach out to me. The owner did reach out (Tuesday) leaving a message (apologizing as well as requesting a call back to grasp what's going on), however did not mentioned if my credit card information was still in my file or not. Called the owner back and explained the situation, however a lot of the information given on Saturday was missing (moneys owed on trade, credit scores, and negotiated prices discussed). So Friday I reached out again via email explaining that I have been more than patiently waiting to get a response. After not getting an email back or a phone call as promised, decided to stop in to see what's going on. Once again patiently waited, and upon Brian's arrival he explained he believed I was denied due to debt to income ratio. I explained this must be an error as I'm quite aware of my debt to income ratio. After Brian looked into it deeper this was not the case, however it did state I was denied by one bank but it was not clear into why so Brian suggested I contacted them to see what happened. When calling they explained it was a small debt from 11+ years ago when banking with them, but by no means was I denied by poor credit or due to debt to income ratio. I ended up calling Brian back leaving this message to see if they only finance through one bank (as I should have been approved from all the others) as well as emailing him, but once again no response. Overall I have to say the whole car experience at this location was sub-par from the lack of communication, running credit twice, having to give the same information twice, not confirming if credit card information was still in file, and from not following up when promised. It seemed there was a lack of empathy after Tuesday, and I should have known at that time this was not the place for me as there was little to no care in following through with what was promised. If not paying in cash or having financing in place before the purchase of a vehicle, I would stay far away from this car lot. read more

All the employees : office manager, salesman, money manager, secretary, mechanics , and car detailer were super nice and treated us like family. They even put in a new battery for us as well as a battery charge maintainer at no cost to us AFTER we signed the agreement. Very dishonest and unscrupulous dealership. 3 different service lights came on a week after purchasing. Tires were also unbalanced, was told to come in and they'd handle it. Came in and they said they couldn't do it then and to come back next week. Called and then they wouldn't even honor that. Car came without a wiper fluid cap, was told they would order one. A month later still nothing about that. Both headlights burnt out within 3 weeks of purchase as well. When bringing all this to their attention we were told "That's what happens when you buy a used car." Steer very clear of this shady dealer. I've heard this is a new owner and they obviously don't care about their customers once they have your money. 0/10, do not recommend and will be telling everyone I know. read more

Purchased a jeep wrangler in june. The miles were fine, Jeep was clean, staff was great. However, after signing the paperwork and heading home, the check engine light came on. EGR valve is what was diagnosed with my mechanic. I inquired about this on several occasions and was told they would do their best to get it taken care of. Left several messages and was eventually ignored. My vehicle runs fine so Ill deal with the problem when I can. Was also unhappy that it took 45 days just to get paperwork for registration. Ive been in the business and I know you cant please everyone. But I also know that you can clear a code and get the vehicle off the lot and say sorry, As-Is. read more

I inquired about a 2010 Yukon SLT 4x4 Southern Comfort Conversion that was priced almost 4k above the market value at $18990 with over 100K in mileage. Their reply to my question is "Because there is no market for a Southern Comfort Conversion. Zero rust and like new. It's not your usual peace of shit. Interior is like new." Any car dealership that would reply to potential customer like this and calling their other cars "typical peace of shit" should be avoided at all cost. read more

I had cash in hand. 25 hours later "Chelsea" responded that she was sorry but the vehicle was sold. Rock's Auto Exchange is an embarrassment to Westfield a city I have lived in for more than 50 years. The sooner they are out of business the better. read more

Initially, my purchase went well but then I had problem after problem. I would not buy a vehicle from Rock's unless you can have the vehicle thoroughly inspected by a mechanic and you verify that Rocks actually has the title. I have now spent over $1000 more on the vehicle in repairs, using vacation days, mileage to travel to another state to verify Title, and late title fees due to Rock's inability to help. I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more
