Our project was to install a sink and faucet in our new Casita kitchenette, drawing a water source from an adjacent bathroom and tying into the bathroom drain. Paul came over in advance and provided an estimate. I needed the project done on a certain day and timeframe and they accommodated my schedule. The job was done efficiently right to the estimate, and the guys also fixed a leaking hose bib. Just a couple days later we noticed on a Friday afternoon at 2:30 that we had no hot water in the main house. My wife called and Melissa said she had someone in the area, and Stuart was here within 30 minutes. Seems it was a control box setting which he fiddled with and got it up and running. All fixed in less than an hour from the call. Best part of all? He did not charge us! Just cannot beat that service! Based on these first two experiences, we highly recommend Rocksteady! read more

I absolutely love this place. I called Rocksteady at 10am and a prompt came on and asked me what I needed. I responded with the info and they answered immediately. They had an opening at 1pm, which I took. My pipe in the kitchen had separated and I had water all over the floor. He replaced the the drain stopper in my bathroom and augered my toilet and upped the water level. He removed everything from under the kitchen sink, cleaned everything and put everything back the way it was. He did all of this in an hour. I t would have taken 2 hours for the old plumbers I have used 7in the past. BTW, his name was Brandon. He was great. He kept me informed about everything he was doing. Any one with the name Rocksteady as in Bonnie Raitt's version has to be GREAT! Sean fixed bathroom faucet and it works better than new. Tighten the kitchen facuet and showed me the problem which is the underwood layment which the screw tighten against. If comes loose again, need to insert stainless steel split washer between wood and faucet. Price was 1/2 what I expected. Strongest recommendation possible!!! read more

Originally contacted Rocksteady Plumbing to replace a severely leaking hose under my kitchen sink that was connected to the faucet. Had a feeling the entire faucet would need replacing, as it was older than dirt. Rocksteady answered my request very quickly and arrived exactly on time for the appointment agreed upon. The plumber was very nice and communicative. The faucet, in fact, did need to be replaced (fine by me), but he didn't have a spare of my make/model with him. He ran out to find the right model and came back within 20 minutes. It was installed before I knew it, and both their rates and the price of the new faucet were very reasonable. Our water heater started to leak. It was discovered in early evening. I called Rock Steady and actually got a person! Not only was that person there, Melissa, called one of the guys, Jared, and he proceeded to get on the phone and walk me through turning the water heater off, and how to drain it, and unplug everything so it would not continue to flood, and be safe. I needed the help and was so relieved in knowing that the water would not continue to flood. Especially since the timing was right before the weekend. They were there Monday, got the new water heater in, and we were back in business. I was so thankful and appreciative to all who helped me. I would recommend them in a heartbeat! We emailed Paul yesterday to ask for an appointment today for our tankless water heater and he was here bright and shiny and on time this morning. He is an authorized service repair person for Rinnai which is the manufacturer of our tankless unit. He has a super cool truck (check out his website...I did), it helped me make the decision as there were 3 certified vendors for Rinnai in the area. Of course I checked out my fellow Yelpers reviews and selected Paul from all the data. I loved that I could email him directly from his website and that it offered a photo of his truck and of what he looked like as well. It must be a new photo because it looks exactly like him, cool beard an all. He went over the top by placing a drop cloth below his ladder (our unit is in the attic), we have high ceilings and he had no problems hiking to the top rungs to get our issues resolved. Of course our unit wasn't pinging and giving off the error code like it was yesterday, but we were able to describe what was going on and he was able to trouble shoot the issues. One cool thing that he did before leaving was brilliant....(from another salesperson), he asked if there was anything else he could do...love this! I forgot I'd ordered soap dispensers for my kitchen faucet a year ago and they've sat under the sink since I've ordered them as my husband didn't want to take apart our faucet and the plate etc to install them. He had some extra time so he got to work and I finally have my dispensers IN my sink instead of on top of my sink. Yippee... A big hoo rah for the ASK while leaving or I wouldn't have even thought of it. Brilliant!!! They're perfect and the job looks great. Thank you, thank you. I've found my new local plumber. Anyone else in town with these tankless units will be pleased as they are a specialty item and not all plumbers can work on them or are certified to do so. The hot water pipe under our slab broke. The water pipes had to be disconnected and new lines run into the ceilings and walls. The project took almost a week to complete. During that time the guys made the process as comfortable as possible for us. They cleaned up the living areas so we could stay in our place at night. They provided daily updates as to how the work was progressing. If there were options available they asked what our preference was. They had to move our water purification system to a new location and the install job was better than the original. We could see inside the walls where the work was being done and my husband was very impressed by the quality of the workmanship and parts they used. The guys that did the work, were polite and even thanked us for giving their company the job. If there were more stars to give this company we would. He found out that our water heater was still under warranty, and replaced the broken pilot mechanism while only charging for labor. Had valves that needed to be replaced on a kitchen water line. Had never dealt with compression ones before so I called in the am and they came out around 3. It took them 40 minutes to get the old faucet off because of a corroded screw. Then they installed a new one. Alex and the other guy (bad with names) were awesome. Professional, helpful and we're careful not to damage anything. The price for the parts and labor were more than reasonable. I would highly recommend. read more
