During COVID, when I was caring for a sick person in Virginia, they made an emergency appointment for the dog so she could be transported to Virginia. (The caregiver had allergies and had developed anaphylaxis to the dog. Almost ended up in the ER.) Latest example -- Buddy, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel needed his second round of vaccinations. But he had again been scratching his ears, more recently until he whined. So, another ear infection. Ok. Took care of that, too. Follow up appointment set up for final vaccination. Everything taken care of. Of course, Buddy was spoiled by staff, treated well. He loves the veterinary clinic. Could not ask for more from a vet clinic.

Wonderful kennel attendants. These owners really know how to treat their "guests". Exercise, music, play with the individual pets., etc. BYOPF (Bring Your Own Pet's Food). They allow you to bring a collar and leash for exercise and a cushioned mat and a toy for the dogs. The place is scrupulously clean and disinfected every day. Your pets are required to have all current immunizations including Kennel Cough and the various virus vaccinations. You will have to sign a release for them to have a vet treat a sick pet. Take a health history for the pet. Any special requests that they can fulfill, they will try their best. Check their web site for hours. Advance reservations, while not required, are preferred because they fill up fast. Reserve as far in advance as possible. This kennel ROCKS!

The only focus was Maggie, to have her feel complete love surrounding her, to let her enjoy cheeseburgers and chocolate, pets, hugs, kisses, many words of love, to make certain she knew exactly how special she was and always would be and that we were grateful for her life with us. I never was to his office before. My small dog was not keeping her food down and she vomited several times a day for 4 consecutive days. She would refuse to drink or eat, and she would vomit anyway. Even though I had never been a client, Beloit Animal Hospital saw my dog that day. I know that this pressed the Doctor's schedule, yet he did it anyways. Every other vet could only get me in the next week. Dr. Chaudry was knowledgeable, great with my new dog, gave her a thorough physical, and advised that the dog is in good physical condition and not having an allergic reaction. He recommended a vitamin paste that my dog should have and that would get her appetite back. His office supplied the paste and it was very reasonably priced. He recommended the best way to feed my dog and a schedule. My dog responded well to the Vitamin paste and began eating within a few hours. With the recommended food and small meals, she has been moving forward. My wife and I were given great peace of mind understanding her condition and her progressing. Brandy took my call and made this appointment. She is a caring professional. I was so impressed with the Beloit Animal Hospital, the doctor, and staff that I became a client for life. It has taken me a little time to be able to write this review. We recently lost a valuable member…read moreof our family. Duke our rescue of over 13 years ago. We had recently changed our Vet from being out of town, to closer due to all our ages, and wanted to be closer to establish care for our two dogs. After Duke's first Annual Visit, he had his first "Senior Blood Panel" he had high levels of Kidney/Pancreas results. Dr Kramer prescribed digestive dog food, and a supplement of Denamarin for next couple of weeks. Dukie appeared to be fine, with the exception of stool color, texture was loose. x2 weeks later losing weight, and blood test again much higher. Dr. Kramer and her staff, was amazing. Dr. Kramer continued "Process of elimination" of Duke's symptoms and labs. She was always so optimistic! But a momma knows!! right? We together, decided to get an Ultrasound done. Long story short, Duke had Lymphoma, which effected his entire abdomen. The next x2 weeks was Duke's Bucket list as he rapidly declined in health. Dr. Kramer and her Staff taught me how to administer Duke's "Cocktail" (fluids) in case he needed to be hydrated on weekends, let me just come in and check in weight, and given support with my questions. When Duke decided it was his time, I called, and they prepared for his Day. Specialized parking, sign out front, couches, pillows, music, treats and a little more TIME. So beautiful and comforting. Private entrance. A wonderful paw print, and cremation container to bring our Big Boy home. Dr Kramer and her Staff, supported all my decisions, with her professionalism, care & empathy. They sent us a Sympathy card a week later, and also planted a Tree in honor of our Sweet Big boy! It honestly, doesn't get any better than this!! I can't thank them enough, or be more grateful. Ok! This is for us. (Who knew?) Dropped in on a Saturday AM. Explained situation. They understood what was up. They would use their nail clippers vs the Dremel I was using at home. Nails trimmed in no time flat. Friendly staff helped get Frank out to the car afterward. (I use a rollator. Frank has zero manners. Huge fall risk.) BUT she also helped get Frank calmed by allowing him to go to the bathroom and then helped get him into the minivan afterward. W h e w . Huge help. Frank is now walking much better. He is more comfortable. Great nail trim job just into itself. While in their shop, they helped make recommendations for grooming tools for his unusual (German Shepherd x Husky mutt) coat. They were able to address both of what had been our two biggest problem areas. I've been coming to Meyer's for years with my two previous Canaan Dogs. Meyer's dealt with their tricky dispositions easily. Meyer's has provided reliably superlative services throughout. The dogs loved it at Meyer's. Glad to see Meyer's remains in Roscoe as ever and still provides the same level of doggie care.
