Surprised by all the bad reviews here, I have nothing but good things to say about the company and I'll say some now. We were redoing our kitchen a few years ago and I wanted to put in a sound system into the ceiling. I did a bunch of research and ended up going with Rockville's 6 zone, 70w commercial system. Unbelievable sound and an amazing price. Couldn't be happier with it. Then this summer I wanted to upgrade the monitors I had on my computer since I have started to do more music recording at home. I bought their combo studio monitors and subwoofer and again, unbelievable sound and an amazing price, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Even bought a t-shirt! Then the sub stopped working and I was nervous about sending this big ol heavy thing from my home in CA to NY to have them work on it. Customer support was prompt and professional and in a coupla weeks I had a new sub. So rare to find a company these days with a killer product at a great price and good customer support. It was a terrible experience. I ordered a subwoofer enclosure. They shipped it in a bare box with no protective packaging not even 1 packing peanut. The enclosure arrived all cracked and damaged. They fought me to the teeth and nail on getting a refund for the product. I ended up having to dispute it with my bank. Do not be fooled by the handful of surprised good reviews. I returned merchandise to Rockville Audio using their authorized return process, and UPS confirmed delivery of the complete return. Despite acknowledging receipt of the package, Rockville has failed to issue my refund and has repeatedly cited internal warehouse issues while stating they are "checking," with no resolution or timeline. As a result, the company currently has both the returned product and my money, and I have been forced to work with my financial institution to dispute the charge in order to recover the funds. This company is a joke. Ordered a sound system for an event, billing and shipping can only be the same address! I ordered it at 10pm called the next morning when they opened and would not do anything. No changes of any kind ok cancel the order. Even though they offer a money back guranttee they said no. Order had not been processed no shiping confirmation so I have cancled the charges on my CC and they are still going to ship it. I notified them that It will sit in the driveway till somebody hauls it off as I notified them before it was shipped. All they had to do was change the shippping address and I would have bought 2 more if the quality of this one was what we needed. Their amplifier broke within a week we own a Gym when I finally came around to fix it they want to take it from me for a month And leave my Gym without music when clearly the amp is damaged. A thief stole my debit card and used it to make a fraudulent purchase at Rockville Audio. They know who did it, but they have made it increasingly and unnecessarily difficult to get them to release the information to the Police. Two weeks later, lots of red tape & stalling and still no progress. Too bad the thief didn't need to go through all this to use my debit card at your store. Rockville Audio are far more interested in making money by any means, than they are protecting the innocent. BTW: Not surprised by all of the 1 star negative responses about their customer support. Rockville's customer service is absolutely horrible. I will no longer buy their products simply because of their customer service. I purchased this package of 8 up lights which included a case to carry them in. In less than 6 months, one of the back pack straps on the bag broke. The bag could not hold the weight of the very thing it was designed to carry. I reached out to customer service to get a replacement bag. They told me to send pictures of the damaged bag. They then told me that before they would replace the bag I would need to completely destroy my defective bag by either "cutting it up," "poking holes in it," or "burning," it. I tried to explain to them that I have events scheduled that require me to transport my lights and that I could still carry the bag by hand as it was just one of the back pack straps that broke. They still refused. The light's cost about $130 each. I don't have another way to carry them without damaging them. I told Maureen S at Rockville that I would send them back the defective bag or send pictures of the bag being completely destroyed once I get the new one. They still refuse. I spent $1000 on this particular package and have spent thousands on other equipment from Rockville over the years. Rockville absolutely refuses to replace this low quality, defective bag, that can't be worth more than $20 unless I "completely destroy" it. I told them that this situation has cost them a customer as I will not buy their products in the future. They are clearly more concerned with preventing me from having two of their low quality cases in my possession at the same time then they are with taking care of the customer's or standing by their products. This situation is ongoing with emailing back and forth for over a week now. My faith in the company is already destroyed over something so simple and stupid. I purchased two Chauvet light trees from I DJ Now in the last week rather than buying from Rockville. I told Maureen S that she had personally cost the company $700 in sales. The equpiment is good. But god forbid you do not have an apple laptop. I got my r-track solo 3 days ago. I got it early so that might be the only reason it even deserves a star. You can not get any good help from customer support and the website doesnt work. I waited over the weekend for their "professionals" to help me get a download driver (that didnt end up working) that wasnt on the website. I'm highly disappointed in both the fact that I was not only sold a faulty product, but the process to get it fixed has been a nightmare. The product should have been fixed in an urgent manner based on the fact that it was faulty. I have now been given two different time frames and you cannot even give me an answer to when it will be fixed. We decided to go with Rockville for 3 events we have coming up in the beginning of February. We purchased 16 of the IR4 up lights with the charging case. Because our billing address wasn't the same as the shipping address the payment never went through. Without any communication, they just cancelled the order, however on the confirmation email, it still told me that order was waiting for payment. By the time we received all this information it had already been too late to reissue another orders. We bought 16 ir4 to test out the product and MAN ARE WE GLAD WE DIDNT RECIEVE THEM. Because we'd at some point would have needed 48 total. They are mediocre compared to any other Chinese brand light you can find on the internet. For many reason, the brand BOTH LIGHTING is a much better option. Do your YouTube research and make the decision yourself. Their customer service is equally as worthless. We needed these lights to meet a deadline and because of their lack of communication we risk our business losing a lot of money. Customer service couldn't have cared less either. Sounded like a call center in the Philippines. Literally they couldn't not have cared any less about the situation. This is the price you pay looking for cheap garbage rather than an actual brand... really wanted this to work with you guys too. Damn shame. If you want to buy something rockville, buy it from WalMart.com so you can get instant refunds when it instantly breaks, or shows up non-working. They lied to me multiple times about being in contact with the subwoofer manufacturer. After contacting the producer myself, they informed me they'd never been in contact. Had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back a month after they received the defective item. Horrible reviews all around, bad BBB rating, even worse on FB and Reddit... I purchased two RPG 10BT speakers and the outputs on both speakers don't work. Can't connect to a subwoofer. Rockville's technical support is not good at all. The company shrugged their shoulders and, although under warranty, said I would have to pay to ship them both back at my expense. The speakers at RPG 10BT. They are not all that good and the bottom end stinks. I gave this company several months to help me with the speakers whereas I have reached wits end. I was looking for a rechargeable powered PA system for an event we had to move to a location where there would be no access to power last minute due to weather. After calling Rockville Audio and speaking with a sales rep, who assured me our order would ship out the following day and arrive within 3 business days, we placed our order on Thursday. We received part of the order on Monday. On Wednesday I called their customer service to see what the status was on the two PA systems, they could not give me any information on the order and there was no one I could speak to about the problem. I was told they had a "system issue" last week and there were some "glitches" in orders placed and they were not able to pull up any information on our order. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, I was told there was no one available to talk to. Last week, I purchased a refurbished RWM1203VH specifically to use for a gig this weekend that requires 2 wireless microphones. Upon opening shipping package (the larger box containing the OEM box), I noticed a message written in big, black, permanent marker on the outside of the duct taped OEM box were the words "PLEASE SEND DEVICES THAT WORK". Low and behold and would you believe that this device actually arrived broken??? Yea....me either....but it did! WHO in the hell sends out a broken product....IN THE SAME FUCKING BOX THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY SENT TO SOMEONE ELSE CONTAINING THE SAME BROKEN PRODUCT?!? I explained the situation to their "support" staff via email, asked for it to be replaced, and for the replacement unit to be shipped out overnight to ensure its arrival in time for my gig. In paraphrase, they told me that they're CHOOSING to NOT rectify the issue, that THEY created, in a manner that would get the replacement unit to me by this Friday (4/29/2022). Based on the reviews, I ordered your product in good faith that I would receive a working unit. I purchased the HTS56 Home Theater System, and unfortunately the one I received was defective. Another unfortunate add is I received the HTS Wednesday afternoon before Easter Sunday, and technical support was closed until the following Monday. When I got in touch with technical support that Monday, they were extremely helpful and I had the piece of defective equipment shipped out that day. Unfortunately it took a week for them to receive it and test it before sending me a new one. Now you would think I would give these guys less Stars than four, but overall they are a great company. I know I bought a less expensive HTS, but I knew what I was buying, and why I was buying it. Their customer service is beyond reproach. I have been recording as a rap artist for years. I can attest to the good value of the equipment I ordered and it is as advertised. HOWEVER, I was forced ro order it twice and pay both times. I honestly like the equipment and value enough to endorse them like I would another company sponsor otherwise.I have NEVER had a shipment lost by FedEx, perhaps it was some sort of theft this time as they don't cover up whats in the box. These days at drop shipment centers its possible as a microphone worth hundreds certainly could get stolen when it's printed right on the box what it contains (some with pictures). They blamed it on Fedex which is possible, they appologized endlessly yet did nothing for me other than taking my money both times. One random day a month later a mic stand showed up from part of my order from FedEx, I know the guy from delivering so well now from all this that he left it with a note at which drop facility he found it. Even though I submitted this claim as proof it was never delivered as they said it was, all they did was deduct the stand from my second order. The relationship they had with FedEx yielded no results on the loss claim (which they were handling) and they basically were like "sucks to be you " as Paypal wouldn't cover it either as the official word was it was delivered. I commented on the crazy boxing of audio equipment not being smart, especially the second time after what they claimed was theft and they still mailed it out the exact same way. So yeah, cost me just a bout double. Their disclaimer on paypal pleads customers not to tigger paypal inquiries and to try and work with them and all they did was apologize the while time with not so much as a ten percent discount. read more

I am the owner and CEO of a fairly large DJ company. I can't begin to tell you how much product I have purchased from Rockville over the years. I am not sure about all of the negative reviews but I have had excellent service and the products have been excellent as well. I have some of the pars that I have used now for 7 years and have recharged them dozens of times with no issues. I've not purchased any amps or auto products nor have I purchased microphones but the other products I have purchased have been excellent. NOW, with that said....I have to agree that customer service is not up to par with other business partners I deal with such as Sweetwater, idjnow.com, kpodj.com and others. They are slow to respond but have always gotten back to me via email. I recently had an issue with a product and they responded back to me within 24 hours with excellent advice. I felt it important to let others know about this company and how good they have been to me. And they always throw in a free t-shirt! read more
