I found the exact vehicle I wanted at Lee Ford and called. I spoke with Morgan and explained that I know what I want, have a quote from one dealer, another dealer still to call and was ready to make a purchase based on who could give me the best price. All 3 dealers had the exact same vehicle/options/trim package/MSRP so I was comparing apples to apples. Morgan was eager to help, gave me a price over the phone. I thanked her and told her that I still needed to call one more place that evening and she offered her personal cell phone for me to continue to be in touch, even after they closed at 7pm. I told her I would call back by the next morning at the latest. She said that she was off the next day, but please call anyway with our decision, whether she was getting the sale or not. Not wanting to call too early on her day off, I planned to call around 9/9:30 am. She called me at 8:10 to check in. Long story short, we got a substantially better price and at a dealer an hour closer to home in VA. I was disappointed that she could not at least match the lower price, as we would have driven the extra hour to give her the sale. We were so impressed by her willingness to be available after they closed that night and also the next day on her day off. I texted her after purchasing our new Expedition to thank her for going above and beyond to make herself available. She was happy for us, asked to see pics of our vehicle and told me if I had any questions about our new Expedition, to please feel free to ask. Wow! Morgan is genuinely kind and caring and impressed us so much! I would recommend her highly for everyone in the area.

After their diagnosis, I was told the transmission needed to be replaced, and that repair was completed. The problem was still there immediately after I got the vehicle back. I was told to drive it for a "learning period," which I did, but nothing changed. After multiple return visits, I was then told the issue is now the engine and that it needs to be replaced. This all happened right after the warranty expired. At this point, the original problem has never been fixed, even after a major repair was done based on their diagnosis. Communication has also been an issue. I was told to contact the warranty company myself, but they confirmed that claims must be handled by the dealership and had no record of proper communication from them. The service manager, Chris, has been my main point of contact, and I've received inconsistent information throughout the process. I also had difficulty getting responses from upper management when trying to escalate.

However, sales records indicate the truck did not leave Rocky Mount until September 2022, long after my requests On August 9, 2022. I also have documentation showing that a power of attorney used in the transaction was voided by Cheryl Spruill, the dealership's title worker. Despite my requests, the dealership refused to return the vehicle. Matt Joyner, the sales manager, shifted blame onto the fact that I had legal representation, though I never disclosed my attorney's identity. As a company that promotes Christian values, I expected better integrity and compassion during such a sensitive time. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling disregarded and mistreated.
