It is disappointing though to read a lot of the recent reviews about apples being purchased that have gone bad. On my last visit here a few years back I will say that there was no longer a savings in purchasing directly from them, and or purchasing a case, as opposed to purchasing the packs of three from the grocery stores. I still gave them the five stars because I absolutely respect and love the company and what they do. Their product is still incredible and unique. When I lived out of state, it was so easy to order an entire case from here and ship it all the way to Honolulu and it did arrive in perfect intact condition.

I've looked at it plenty of times previously, but finally decided to buy something, I was really craving sweets. They have quite a variety of chocolates- cookies, bars, matcha, nuts, chips and more. We purchased the chocolate covered potato chips and a milk chocolate bar. Both were delicious. The chips were not too salty but still crispy. I was impressed. The chocolate is so silky smooth and not overly sweet like most milk chocolate bars in the world US. The employee was super nice and apologized like five times for the wait, even though I didn't think it was too long. The customer ahead of us was purchasing quite a lot for gifts so I think he thought he was taking too long to assist her. Either way, great experience overall. I'm tempted to set a reminder to myself for next year to buy the advent calendar!

She was great at explaining their chocolate. Their chocolate here is superb. It's so different, unique, and quality. The chocolate chip potato chips are absolutely delicious. What differentiates them is their international chocolate that you cannot find anywhere else! Their truffles fell apart in my mouth - incredibly delicious. Everything is fairly priced for the quality, too. I will 100% come back here again. Then I don't remember when I was introduced to Fannie May's Trinidads, creamy chocolate truffle center in a pastel coating with a touch of toasted coconut, that was so good and I became obsessed! And I have not found any other brands that have a similar product that compared to it. I used to go to the Fannie May inside Deerbrook Mall for years until it was permanently closed. Then I found one in Northbrook Festival Mall and another one that had opened in Deerfield, I happily went to those, but sadly they had closed permanently as well. Occasionally, I would go to the one in Skokie if I am in that area. Now, the one in Niles across from Golf Mill Shopping Mall is my go-to Fannie May. Like any other Fannie May stores, it is bright and clean, delightful looking with chocolates aroma as soon as I stepped inside. Somehow every time I came to this store, I was greeted by a different staff member. Good thing that they were all nice and friendly. This time I only needed to buy a box of Trinidads as gift. The lady advised me that the pre-packaged ones were the same as the ones inside her glass case, and both had the same expiration date, but the pre-packaged box was $28 while the one that she would put together would be $32 a box. I usually would have the staff put together a box, but with her information, I just went with a pre-packaged box. She also told me that two one-pound pre-packaged boxes would be $40. It was very tempting, but I decided that I don't need to eat extra sweet, so I declined. Very tempting, though! For many, Fannie May chocolates, including Trinidads, evoke a sense of nostalgia or tradition, whether from family gatherings, holidays, or special occasions. I will continue to buy their high-quality chocolates as gifts. Well, occasionally to indulge myself too! Hope that this Niles store will remain opened for many years to come!

I'm not a white chocolate fan normally but their Trinidad's (dark chocolate soft filling covered in white chocolate that's studded with tiny bits of toasted coconut) are such a perfect combination of textures and flavor. It's why Trinidad's are one of their best sellers. They have a milk chocolate enrobed version, but trust me that the Trinidad's are better! Really! The mint meltaways are icon as well: rich, soft chocolate with a whisper of mint. I had mentioned these to a chocolate fanatic friend and she demanded I bring her a sample when I visited Chicago, so had to stop by to deliver on my promise and indulge a childhood memory.

She seemed to like it quite a lot because she ate almost all of her kid's scoop. The second was the Hodges Park Mud, which I chose for myself, and which was quite good; it was vanilla ice cream with caramel and small pieces of chocolate. And I got a half and half of vanilla and toasted coconut for my significant other. Yummy yummy all around! The employees were helpful and she gave me a punch card to get an ice cream free after nine, I think. It's Uptown Park Ridge so parking can look full, but there is plenty of parking around.

And now, much, much closer to where I live. But, I also love their pre-packed Chocolate Ice Cream and their sumptuos Chocolate Ice Cream Cake! Not to mention they're Milk Chocolate Pecan Clusters, and they come in Cashews and Peanuts as well. It's now very dangerous that they are just a stones throw away from us. The variety of flavors was good, the flavors themselves were good, quality was good, and the value was good.
