    a chocolate covered apple

Dark dream caramel apple indulgence late one night with my boyfriend. It was so good! Tons of chocolate chips and drizzle on it. We were so satisfied. Pumpkin cheesecake truffle was a letdown. Service was super sweet. I wish I remembered her name. No seating inside, but plenty of space outside.

While sharing a family date night at Tempe Marketplace, the kids made a request for chocolate. We almost bought a random chocolate bar from book and but then saw the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory directly across the way. Upon entering, the place was clean and tidy. Lots of wood and glass. Upscale feel for a candy shop. We're we're created and attended to promptly. The kids were wide eyed and ready to take everything. I looked directly fir the dark chocolate truffle selection. I love flavors that are dark and strong, yet deep and alluring... much like my heart I s'pose. Lol. The kids grabbed milk chocolate covered marshmallows fir $3.25 each. I got a dark chocolate haystack for $2.50 and a dark chocolate espresso truffle fir $3.25. Definitely pricey but the kids didn't say a word for at least 30 minutes while enjoying their choco-pops. Worth it! The haystack was more dense then I would have liked but the truffle was divine. It was a good stop to end the evening. ...... One of my fav places for a sweet treat. My favorites are the carmel apple with almonds, and the chocolate dipped pretzels. Yummy! They will cut your apple for you just ask. 4 starts for the delicious treats but the staff here is not very lively, so try not to ask too many questions.

The caramel apples and these monster Rice Krispie treats keep us coming back! The staff alone would be a 1 star. Not friendly or welcoming.

I'm related to a caramel apple addict so whenever I see a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Shop, I know, in order to be a good daughter, I must stop into the store. Straying slightly from the usual choice of a plain caramel apple, I branched out and got a CHOCOLATE DIPPED caramel apple, which ended up being a big hit. The employees offer to slice the apple up for you if you plan on eating it right way, but if it is going to be a bit before the apple is devoured then it is recommended that the apple stay whole to avoid oxidation. If for some reason, dipped apples are not your thing, the store is filled with all sorts of other chocolate treats too. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, even sugar free - dipped strawberries, various truffles, chocolate covered pretzels, peanut butter cups, fudge, brittle, toffee, caramels and cherry cordials and bon bons! There is literally something for everyone, including Barkers Dozen Dipped Dog Bones (a chocolate free treat) for the four-legged furry pals!

This review is based on the sweet treat alone!! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go into the store because I had my pupper with me (totally understandable) and the lady who worked the front desk was so so nice about it!! But my friends had gotten me a Carmel Apple with peanuts and the apple was so juicy and delicious with the perfect amount of Carmel and peanuts on it!! So delicious and put my sugar craving at bay!! Plus they have sooo many options for Carmel apples if you want to spice it up and get a fancy one or just get a regular one!! They have it all!! Yum!!

A fun collection of caramel apples! Many other chocolate goodies too that I haven't tried but want to. The only things I've had are the Rocky Mountain Road Caramel apple and the dark chocolate dipped orange peel. So good! Both of them.

This is my favorite Rocky Mountain store. They really hook it up with the chocolate on the caramel apples. You can get really full from it, I know I just did. The Rocky Road caramel apple is freaking awesome. The chocolate covered cherries are great too and the customer service offered by Rebecca C is incredible. She is always ready to help with a huge smile on her face. This was my second visit to this location and she remembered me from last week when I visited with my girl and my daughter. She has a good memory. Shows how attentive she is to her customers. The store is kept clean and there is several different goodies to choose from. If you're in the mood for a treat this is the place to go to for sure. It's right in tempe market place, behind Barnes and Noble.

Walked in and for such a little shop there was a good amount of people. The service was pretty fast for having one lady work there. She was super friendly & very helpful. She explained all the different kinds of chocolates and what's in them. They also had very creative caramel apples. I got a regular caramel apple with nuts and the apple tasted fresh, and everything else about it was perfection. Great prices for great treats. I will be spending more money here!

Amazing and delicious!!! I usually go for the candy apples but this time I tried their other treats

We purchased a larger assortment, and I loved the creative flavor options and wide variety of flavors to fit every palate. Our gift recipients gave them rave reviews. Supporting a local artisanal maker is worth the additional cost to me, and knowing the assortment was something that couldn't be found in a Godiva box made it all the more special & unique. We will absolutely be back as these chocolates make unique and delicious gifts.

To be fair, the employee gave me a warning that they use ceremonial matcha which is much stronger and asked me if I wanted to change it out for a more typical matcha powder they use for other drinks. I've had great ceremonial matcha before so I didn't think it would be a problem but for some reason I felt like my drink tasted so odd. I got their spanner matcha which was described to be salted maple flavoring. I'm not sure if it was the matcha or the maple but it had a weird aftertaste that I can seem to describe it other than an expired taste. Because the employee gave me a warning before I would go back and try something else in hopes of a better experience.

I ordered the Chicken and Bubble Waffle, and added an Iced Horchata Latte. It took at least a good 5-7 minutes before I got my food, it was hot and fresh. They were 'churro' style and had a very light cinnamon and sugar flavor. The chicken was a really good portion, hot and crispy. And there is a side of fried crispy chicken skin, ohhhhh so salty - so good! It allows me to enjoy a snack with my friends who are all about that sugar rush lifestyle. I do recommend the breakfast bites for a sweet option. The churros are cut smaller, and you get a mountain of whipped cream and fresh fruit to dip you churros in. It's like the chips and guacamole of in the churro world. The churro-crusted churro-style Hong Kong egg waffles are a must. They drizzle a nice chipotle syrup on top, and they even give you fried chicken skin to munch on. The chicken loco moco is also good, although I suggest asking for more gravy. I'm a gravy fiend, though, so if you're about moderation, it's probably sufficient for you. Milk teas and coffee are good here, but I would pass on the syrupy fruit drinks. This place also offers adorable egg cups, so if you're a sucker for a cute Instagram-worthy beverage, this place does a good job. I like it here! I hope you like it here too.
