So if you have a thing for candy, we'll this is definitely your spot. We walked in looking for a Mars bar and we were not disappointed at all. Found our Mars bar and then some. Jamming to some classic songs. Now if you are looking for parking, well, that will be an issue as this place is located in one of the busiest college districts in Tempe, with plenty of different vendors all around. This is a great little store, I enjoyed popping in and looking around. They had a lot of fun things and goodies to look at and choose. There was a tiny line of people ahead of me, they greeted you on arrival and told you to have a nice day as we bought our sodas and left. Nice selection of bulk candy. Damn, you should check out the Candy Addict in Tempe. Me and some friends stopped here on our last trip and we bought some of the Ol Skool Candies we grew up eating as kids. I got Now And Laters, Lemon Heads, Johnny Apple Treats, Boston Baked Beans, and many others. They sell Pop Rocks and Fun Dips. My girlfriend love sweets too. I made sure I bought her favorite candies as well. NIce cool store here. I love the vibe. I feel like a kid in a candy store. read more

After months of searching, I - on a whim - wandered into Candy Addict and found the Sweet Heat spicy Skittles that have eluded me for many moons. I was overjoyed. And it wasn't even stupidly overpriced. It was a cool $1.97 for these rare AF spicy Skittles. I shall return soon to hunt for more of these IRL Rare Candies. I feel very confident that there are more treasures to be discovered here. read more

Cool little shop with unique candies, and a plethora of equally saccharine Hello Kitty items. They have British chocolates such as Yorkies, Aeros, and Crunchies, old-school candies such as Chick-o-Stick and Bosco (In chocolate bar form), as well as delectable modern chocolates from Vosges Haut-Chocolate. There's a good selection of sugar-free candies as well. Prices are a little high, but you're paying for the nostalgia and unique nature of the candies. I picked up some hard-to-find cherry and peach sour patch candies, and Haribo lemon-ginger gummies. The total was around $6. In general, a cool store to browse in and buy some sugary treats. read more

A bit pricey, but one of the best collections of sweets I've ever seen. They have struck a good balance between standard stuff you'd find at the supermarket, international items which you won't see, and old timey sweets which are just plain cool. No matter when you were born, you will see familiar sweets from your childhood! On shelving circling the shop, you will find a whacky assortment of lunch boxes (many of them hello kitty), plush toys, and souvenir paraphernalia from TV shows and film. The collection which is all for sale has never been the same any of the times I've been there so it leads me to believe that collectors are picking them up and they don't stock more than what you see on the shelf. If you like candy and you like nostalgia, you will love Candy Addict. Grab a plastic sand castle pail on the way in a fill it up to your hearts desire. My favorite finds in there are a toss up between the KISS plush toys and the caramel covered marshmallows that they keep on the front counter in a glass jar. Run don't walk. read more

Come on who can't love this place? I mean this is just a great little neighborhood candy store with all of the best goodies. The people here are friendly and nice and whenever you need a sugar fix this is definitely the place to stop by and check out. It's not the biggest candy store but it's certainly is a great spot and it has a great selection. Of course I love supporting a local business and this is definitely a classic local business. Candy Addict joined the popular Mill Avenue neighborhood near ASU in December 2010. The business is independently owned and operated. Our goal is to become a long-standing favorite with both the locals and visitors to the area, a unique place where people can bring back sweet memories from their childhoods and make new ones as they discover treats they've never heard of before.

Wow the place who worked Sunday July 10th at 5:00 was a complete fucking asshole and will never get my business again. A) my kid bought a toy instead of candy and this jerk running the shop says "wow you get 5.00 and waste it on this?" B) my 6 yrs old...YES HE IS 6 put his hand out to get change back and the dumbass again takes a shot and says "you shouldn't do that to someone giving you money it's rude", then proceeds to roll his eyes. I like the Candy Addict. It has the best selection of bulk candy anywhere around - and good stuff, not silly childish stuff like the Fuzzgigz or whatever in the malls. They have a great selection of older candies as well. It's a nice treat after lunch there to get a little bag (have to make sure I don't go overboard) for snacking on. The staff is always friendly and the facility is laid out pretty we-- and is easy to browse. read more

Just came from Candy Addict and who ever is bitching about the saltwater taffy and orange peanut things must be high as a kite... Their selection of salt water taffy is around 45 flavors. "maple bacon" salt water taffy was amazing ! All very fresh. I checked out "It's Sugar", some new corperate chain and their prices are through the roof... almost double what Candy Addict charges. read more

I came all the way down to the chaos of mill Avenue near ASU even though with Spring break and the f****** place was closed. It said be back at 1:30 and it was 1:30 and the doors were locked this place sucks and I will not give my money to a place that doesn't respect their customers. read more

the owner Reese was very weird and stayed very close to the females working. Over heard him make some dirty comments about the employees. just a weird vibe in here. Don't recommend if you're a female. Also this store is dirty and gross as is Reese. HELLA OVERPRICED TOO. WACK. read more

Just happen to be walking downtown Tempe and spotted a candy store. Looks really nice and they have candy that I haven't seen in a long time. I'm definitely going to be the kid here. The cashier was nice and welcoming. read more
