Wow the pistachio latte is great! I love the chunks of pistachio in it. It's a little sweet but it dilutes well with more milk at home! Cafe is very clean and there wasn't a line to order or pick up!

Its nice because its open late, its a cute space if you have some work to do or want to gossip with a friend for a bit. We did have to wait a long time for our drinks even though it was late at night, so when a little busy you will wait. The drink I tried was coconut Matcha latte and it was interestingly good, my friend got the warm pistachio and said it was good. As a Türk I dont recommend the Baklava.

I was initially a bit hesitant to stop in because of the price point, but I am so glad I gave it a try! The pistachio frappe was absolutely amazing, it had a rich, thick milkshake vibe to it, and I've honestly never had anything quite like it before. Beyond the incredible drinks, this place is a fantastic hidden gem. The interior features really nice lighting, and there is a ton of seating if you're looking for a comfortable spot to study, complete with plenty of wall outlets to keep your laptop and phone charged. To top it all off, the service was wonderfully kind and welcoming. I highly recommend checking this spot out!

I came here on a Wednesday afternoon, very quiet but busy, most of the customers were on their laptop so I guess it seems like a place to study or work quietly? I ordered a pomegranate lemon breezer and a croffle. I didn't know what to expect with either but the drink was refreshing and the croffle was warm and tore apart like a croissant. It is clean inside too.

Soooooo good omg. Pistachio crepe is my favorite. I love coming here to get work done and also get a sweet treat. The service is always so friendly I really appreciate that.

Came here on a Saturday. Not busy at all. I placed my order and was out the door less than 10 minutes. I got the pistachio latte with less than half sugar. Delicious! I recommend this drink for the coffee lovers. I'll be back!

tiramisu latte and coconut latte (decaf) both hot- coconut latte wins

We went on a late Friday night since it was opened until 1am (Fridays and Saturdays). Other days they are opened until midnight. The cafe is clean, beautiful interior design, filled with customers through the cafe. We were greeted by staff and offered their recommendation since we asked. We ordered a hot tiramisu latte and a hot coconut latte decaf with a Pistachio Nutella croissant served with a side of fresh bananas and strawberries- super delicious and would order again. The coconut latte was both of our favorites and highly recommend.

Came here at 11:30 PM and stayed until closing. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the café was active and my friend and I were not the only ones with the idea to get coffee at midnight. Even though it was busyish, the atmosphere was relaxed and the noise level was minimum. When ordering, the cashier was super sweet and gave wonderful recommendations. We ordered a hot tiramisu latte, hot coconut latte (decaf), and a pistachio croissant. We sat at a corner table and were brought our coffee and pistachio croissant quickly. The croissant was heavenly, it wasn't too sweet or heavy and a pleasant surprise was that there was strawberries inside of it. Would definitely recommend that you try it. Both lattes were great, the coconut latte was delicious and I would definitely recommend it. Overall it was a great experience and I plan on checking out Shaghf Cafe again.

Stopped by here with a friend to try out their coffee, TikTok has wrangled me once again. The inside is big, very spacious and honestly the decor is really cool as well. I wish I snapped a pic but didn't want to take any pics of people relaxing and enjoying themselves. The barista was friendly and answered any questions we had, the coffee was good just not as strong as I hoped. I did get a slice of carrot cake and it was delicious. My friend and I stayed for a while and chatted and it was the general vibe of everyone there. People were posted with laptops of groups catching up. Overall love the vibe of this place. Definitely have to come back to enjoy their patio when it's cooler outside!

This is the place to go if you want to try Dubai chocolate. The Dubai chocolate strawberry cup is truly amazing. It was filled with a generous portion of juicy ripe strawberries, chocolate, pistachio cream with crunchy knafeh bits. It was so decadent and definitely a good portion to share with others. Service was fast and friendly. When we were here there was also live music and the musician was playing classic soft rock hits. Guilty feet have got no rhythm but they can definitely walk over to Shaghf for a tasty treat! P.S. If you don't know Arabic, shaghf means passion!

Tried Shaghf Cafe on a weekday for a late lunch with a friend. We had seen pictures of a savory food menu and pictures of these menu offerings, but come to find out Shaghf Cafe doesn't really serve much savory food anymore. They did have "calzones" which were basically pizza dough wrapped around meat and sauce. They were out of the flavor I wanted so I tried the buffalo chicken instead. It was very average. I also tried the Dates Cold latte because they indicated the date syrup is imported from Dubai. It had an artificial sweetener taste to it, which I didn't love. My friend tried the Dubai chocolate crêpe, which was actually a pretty generous portion and tasted delicious! The woman taking orders was very knowledgeable about the menu but I didn't really appreciate that there was no menu descriptions so I had no choice but to ask her to tell me what was in every single menu item. The desserts in the pastry cabinet near the register looked old and flimsy. If you're looking for something sweet, this might be a great option. I was glad to try Shaghf Cafe but don't think I'll be returning.

    Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cups $12.91

Tried this place out Sunday since we were in the area. It's pretty inside. Lots of black, gold, green and neutral decor. The gold monkeys hanging on the rope holding lightbulbs were cute. Kinda looks like something you'd see on the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. The owner was nice. He took time to answer our questions and explain what was in certain drinks that we were curious about. Luckily, it wasn't busy at the time so we weren't rushed. As soon as we finished ordering, it got super busy! I meant to order the Pistachio Latte but accidentally ordered the Frappe. It was good but I wanted coffee. Was going to order the Dubai Chocolate Bar but he said it would take an hour. My friend also realized she should've ordered a coffee instead of the Cookie Frappe. Can't remember if she liked it or not. She also ordered a Nutella Croffle for her kids. She said that was pretty good. I saw someone bring out Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cups so I got back in line and ordered one! Price is more reasonable here ($12.91) than the last place I tried it at. They also had a good amount of pistachio cream layered in. There wasn't enough kataifi though. It was only sprinkled on top. I would try a coffee if Im ever in the area again. The Pistachio Crepe look good too so maybe I'll try that as well next time.

(I did not. I ordered a full breakfast and a waffle like an adult with priorities.) I went around 9:15am on a Wednesday--only a few tables were occupied, and the staff was super friendly, gave great recommendations, and the food came out fast. Inside is dialed in with chandeliers, French-y posters and photos everywhere, and a pastry case with tarts, pastries, and cheesecake that basically dares you to behave. The croissant was the star... fresh, flaky, light, buttery... exactly what you want. The egg was cooked perfectly and the cheese was melted into it almost like a mini omelette (loved that). My only hiccup was the "bacon." It leaned more limp pork belly than crispy bacon and had a distinct smoke flavor that wasn't the traditional hardwood/hickory vibe I'm used to. Also... because the cheese and egg are fused together, it's basically impossible to pick the bacon out once it's in there. Next time I'd order it without bacon or ask for it on the side and make it crispy. It came with a side salad, which is not what I expected with breakfast, but it was actually great, fresh spring mix and a delicious dressing with a subtle sweet undertone. There were also hash browns with a crispy exterior and soft, warm interior, exactly the texture you hope for I just wish there were more of them! Because I have no self-control around French cafes, I also ordered the Belgian waffle with fruit and whipped cream. The waffle was warm and tasty, more tender/soft than crispy, and I ended up preferring it to the 'scrape the roof of your mouth' style that most restaurants serve up. The whipped cream tasted freshly whipped and the fruit selection was generous. My only critique: I'd skip the granulated sugar on top. The waffle is sweet enough already, and biting into sugar crystals isn't my favorite texture. For a drink I tried the blueberry lavender matcha. It had crushed blueberries in it, but the matcha flavor was pretty mild and the lavender got lost. I also would've liked a touch more sweetness from the syrup but overall it drank a bit "soft" and subtle. Bottom line... really cool little spot with friendly service, quick food, and a pastry case that will absolutely ruin any plan you had to "just eat light." I'll be back but next time I'm customizing that croissant sandwich and letting the pastries talk me into bad decisions.
