Pre-op nurses- 5star! Surgeon- (Dr Schneider) 5star!…read morePost op staff and facilities- 3 stars, average nursing- some good, some not so much.. But the real problem... Anesthesia- minus 10!!! The encounter I experienced with anesthesiologist Dr Woodward who had My Life in his hands... was horrific. I did not feel safe!!!!! A horrible feeling while completely vulnerable. His ego, OMG. I hope the hospital HR reads this and contacts me. No call from anesthesia night prior- even tho I was told they would contact me- I had concerns, and questions. When I tried to have a pre-op conversation with DR Woodward, He shut me down repeatedly. All he cared about was my signature. Hurry up! Sign this. He just wanted to start. Seriously an absolute traumatic awful feeling. He was barking at the pre op nurse to hurry up with my IV. She was clearly rattled by him. My IV "blew". I complained. She made the decision to start another. He was clearly pissed at her decision and let me know "there is nothing sharp, nothing is hurting you". (As if at 66 years old I didn't know what an IV should feel like?") The second one started to hurt before it was in, now he got really pissed- he repeated his "nothing sharp statement", (I'd love to kick him in his testicular place and tell him it should not hurt because there is nothing sharp!" The nurse was trying her best to hurry under his command. Then he grabbed the mask. He couldn't bother with my needs. He just wanted to shut me up. He put me out! From the time he first introduced himself to the time he knocked me out- 6 minutes tops! Before the IV. In the pre-op room!! WTF???? I verbally told him I was anxious. My chart shows PTSD. I was actually crying! His action was far from "STANDARD of CARE"! He provided none of the bedside courtesy such as-"I'm doing this, next is this."----- Did I forget all this when I woke up? Nope! It is seared in my memory. Dear Dr Woodward- I am a kind person with a soul, not simply a case number and YOU did me very very wrong!! VERY VERY WRONG!!! I pray for GOD to touch you and help you understand how your negligent actions affect others. I deserved respect. I deserved kindness. I received neither. Maybe you should consider another line of work. The shoulder block you rushed to do was incorrectly placed numbing my diaphragm thus sending me home on oxygen (Your skill falls very short of your elevated ego). As I came out of anesthesia I I heard you tell the OR nurse that my heart rate dropped to 30 so u gave me a medication to correct this. I reported hearing this to my husband because it was concerning. I just read the surgical anesthesia report you prepared. You falsified the record indicating my heart rate fell to 40 not 30. You going to tell me I misheard?? Nope! I believe falsely documenting medical records is a crime!! I've had many (5) major surgeries including anesthesia. I'm fully educated on what a Standard of Care should be.

My nurse was AMAZING and I was lucky enough to have her both before and after my surgery and she was fantastic. Fast forward to my second surgery and this time was very different. My pre-op nurse was just okay. She had a dry personality and even got annoyed when I asked for a second pillow. She def wasn't one to calm you down or provide reassurance. I never felt important as I did at my last visit. She def treats you as number instead of a patient. Lastly, my nurse after the surgery was awful. I cant remember her name but she had really short blonde hair. She made rude comments several times. She wasn't personable or friendly. She didn't give the best instructions for after care either. And she wasn't listening to what I was telling her. The final things I will say about this place is neither time I have came out of surgery my pain was not even remotely close to being managed. After my first surgery they did a nerve block on me and it didn't work at all. It was also $1000 for nothing. This time around I spoke with the anesthesiologist prior to surgery and let him know I didn't want another nerve block but it also did not want to wake up with pain that was out of control. And sure enough he told me this time they had made something that would make me more comfortable afterwards and it didn't work at all. I woke up in tears again with pain that I couldn't bare. At first of course this awful nurse didn't believe me and took way to long to get additional meds. It wasn't until they brought my husband back they took me seriously. It is an awful feeling to wake up from surgery feeling this way. Dr. Lodha is my doctor and he is amazing and he listens. It's all about the staff here. And if I had the same nurse as I had before I would have no complaints. However, the clinical care staff I worked with needs more training on bedside manner, care and compassion. I also think the anesthesiologist needs some training as well to be able to have their pain under control. I also refused to be released until it was under control. My best advice is if you go here for care and you don't get the warm and fuzzies from your nurses, demand someone else!

Unfortunately, they couldn't tell me when my follow up appointment was scheduled. Was told that someone would call me. Surprise, surprise. No phone call. So, I called for three days in a row and couldn't get anyone to answer my calls. After waiting over an hour, I hung up and called the voicemail for the doctor. I left a message saying that I needed to schedule my follow up. Someone did call back but because of my surgery, I couldn't get to the phone fast enough. No message. Today I started calling at 7:55 and got a live person. She told me that my appointment was scheduled already. Had I not called continuously, I would not have known when it was. I would not have shown up. Pretty unhappy with the outcome.

The surgeon other plastic surgeons learn from and want to model. He has been consistent over the past 15 years. He listens. He executes. From being a 25 year old who felt unheard by other surgeons (at that time/age), Dr Wolfe listened. He cared. He eased my mind within the first 5 minutes of meeting him and gave me the exact breast augmentation I was seeking. Over the years, I've had multiple surgeries with him. Each surgery and recovery were seamless--no excessive bleeding, bruising, or extreme pain. His techniques from breast augmentation/lifts to tummy tucks are not only beautiful, but comfortable. People are amazed at how thin my tummy tuck scar is and how fast I recovered. When you're a 40 year old mom, you just want that 20's body confidence back. I couldn't be more grateful to Dr Wolfe and his team to give me my "spark". Not only have I referred friends to Dr Wolfe (breast implants/lift and tummy tuck- who still call me years after to say thank you for the recommendation) but another who had surgery with Dr Vath (for a lower face lift, breast lift and implants) AND my mom to Dr Freeman for a upper bleph and brow lift. There is no way I would send the people I love the most in this world to a practice I didn't swear by. All have had amazing results and experiences. I can't leave out the team. Every single staff member at The Center for Cosmetic Surgery was kind, professional, and truly made me feel comfortable and well cared for. Special thank you to Jordan, Daria, Jen, Crystal, Heather, Stacey, Hannah, Erica, Julie- Dr Heidi Green (anesthesiologist/IV Queen) - EVERYONE! Thank you to each and every one of you for your 5 star care and contagious smiles.

This was an elective procedure and the receptionist told me legally they could not see me as a patient. I did not ask them to use my Medicare as I knew this would not be a covered procedure. I would never reccommend this facility because of this. The surgery went fine. I wasn't completely happy with the results as it looks like there is a stitch in the middle of my breasts that is to tight and a bulge/ripple on the left side. I am actually relieved they won't see me now because of legal reasons and their attorneys, it makes me feel like they have had issues and I would not go back to them or reccmmend them to anyone. I suppose they won't do a facelift for someone with Medicare too. Read reviews on this center and do your home work.

Then I transferred to the lakewood office and was told there were some very concerning things the test showed a year later. This office seems more concerned and on it then the other one , but there communication still sucks, I left several messages for the MA to call me regarding my test results that were done going on 2 weeks now. When a medical personnel is concerned about prior testing and then order additional testing but not call with results that is concerning to me. Ihave tried again today was told the same thing she will call me back I guess we will see. So, just an update in regards to my call, back that I never did receive. I waited for about an hour. Maybe an hour and a 1/2 hoping that they would call, but again I have not received any return phone call. I have documents paperwork that I need a copy of 4 court for the disability court. And I can't seem to get anybody to communicate with me regarding my test results or paperwork. So i'm not real thrilled with this office either.
