We stopped here to get some rest the only thing that sucked is they gave us a room with 1 queen bed for me my husband and 10M old baby so it was pretty hard to sleep would've been better if there was at least a pullout couch. The freezer also didn't keep my items frozen so that was kinda disappointing but other than that the room was amazing it was actually really nice I was surprised because the night before we stayed at the temporary housing at Nellis Afb and it was super tight with all the furniture and was dirty. But this bases in was amazing and it had washed and dryer inside it was basically a 1bedroom apartment! If we ever travel through Colorado again we will most definitely come here again

Parking can get a bit of a challenge, but that was my own fault for staying out late (there really isn't much to do on the base).

So far I'm very unimpressed, slightly disgusted and annoyed at the rates for this hotel. They said…read morethey don't have normal room service, they only clean rooms once every 3 days. The shower drain is backing up. When I just took a shower, I had to stand in dirty water. The refrigerator is barely keeping anything cold and is freezing over on the inside. I went to lay down and I found jelly on the side of the nightstand next to the bed! The bathroom configuration with the toilet and shower separated and having the sink's faucet offset, is ridiculous. Then at night when I want to wind down and watch tv from my bed I can't because the TV is so far off to the side I can't barely see it. I have paid far less to stay at Marriot hotels with much better conditions. I assume since there's an event in town - Marriott decided to price gouge instead of charging a reasonable rate for a very poorly managed hotel. Update: Their breakfast is about as desirable as the rest of the hotel. There was hardly anything to choose from. They had breakfast sandwiches that were soggy and cold. The oatmeal was dried out. Of course your standard powdered eggs and sausage patties. The area with cereal look like it had exploded because no one was cleaning up any messes. No bagels or breakfast pastries, just English muffins. Usually I'd just grab a yogurt but they didn't even have that. What was really upsetting is when the lady who was supposed to be restocking everything couldn't restock food for everyone but brought ONE person like 2 dozen sausage patties but can't restock food for anyone else? Breakfast wasn't stocked ANY day we were there. (Reduced to 2 stars) Update 2: I'm assuming this is a pet friendly hotel but pet friendly shouldn't mean I have to listen to a dog barking all night in a room next to me. Normally I can sleep decent but I slept horrible from the beds and pillows being super uncomfortable. The hotel shakes every day around noon to 2pm, I thought it was an earthquake at first, no clue what that was about. So be aware of that if you try to take a nap mid-day. (Reduced to 1 star) I noticed on their website that the manager responds to complaints, but there are similar complaint by a lot of people. I can't believe we spent $1k to stay here and not have any amenities as simple as daily room service, a decent breakfast, clean room, working refrigerator, drains that aren't backed up, etc. Also, the upholstered furniture in the room is disgusting and needs to be cleaned.

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed here. The first two times were more than a…read moredecade ago. We use for convenience to the UCH Anschutz medical center in Aurora. Our more frequent doctors are conveniently in Boulder and Longmont. But some surgeries do need to happen at Anschutz. It's a facility that draws patients from several states so nearby lodging is important. SpringHill Suites was one of the first. There is a Hyatt next door. They share a shuttle service that takes patients and family members across busy, 8 lane Colfax to both University Hospital and Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion, Sue Rodger's Anschutz Eye Center as well as to Colorado Children's Hospital. This visit was planned for my husbands eye surgery and though a day surgery with a post op appointment the next day, we decided to stay over until he was cleared to drive back to Boulder as I don't drive because of a low vision condition. In winter, the extra time is even more important. The hotel has rooms designed and priced for this need. It was less expensive to stay here than to pay for car rides back and forth each day. The rooms are small studio suites with comfortable furniture and linens, micro fridge and micro wave and workspace with lots of lights and charging plugs. The room we had was nearly identical to what we had a decade ago, so upkeep and updating must be done regularly. The staff only changes linens as needed to save water but they were happy to leave off extra towels for our 3 day stay. The lounge downstairs serves breakfast staples as many do. Simple stuff my husband was ok with though I needed more options but u was free to do this while he was in surgery. There is a bar for evening that we did not use. There was a small convenience area with sodas, snacks, and. Serious treats but they were out of a few things he wanted, like ice cream. The rotating staff members were all helpful and pleasant. We used the shuttle on surgery day but walked the next day in nice weather for a little exercise. Shuttle driver was very feelingly. The second day there was a phone issue at the Hyatt next door that prevented us getting the shuttle though we didn't really need it anyway.if the weather had required it, I think we had plenty of time to have it resolved. The walk was only 6 minutes, using the pedestrian bridge over Colfax, which you are not allowed to cross on foot. It is prominently posted at the corners where it had been allowed in the past before the road got so wide and busy. One thing we noted different on this visit was that we were given a room facing Colfax as in the past , both times, we had rooms facing the parking lot. It was very noisy even with the heavy drake across the window. Take parking lot if you can get it. We will if there is a next time. Another small annoyance was that our 3rd floor room smelled lightly of bacon for about 30 minutes as the breakfast was being cooked. That had not happened in our first floor rooms a decade ago but I am not aware if they even served breakfast back then.

Instead of trying to help or explain things professionally, the staff treated me as if I was doing something wrong and made it seem like there was some strange "policy" against it. What made the experience even worse was the way I was treated during the interaction. I felt completely discriminated against and dismissed, even after calmly explaining that my family was tired and we simply needed to check into the room we had reserved. I had the funds available and was fully prepared to pay, but they still refused to accommodate us. To make matters worse, they canceled my reservation without my permission or request. Right after leaving, I went to the DoubleTree by Hilton nearby and had absolutely no issues checking in whatsoever. Same payment method, same situation, completely different level of professionalism and customer service. It's unfortunate because customer service and hospitality should matter, especially when families are traveling for youth sports events and simply looking for a place to rest. This experience was unnecessary, embarrassing, and unacceptable.

Several times the front desk was left unattended, which was a safety concern. I witnessed what appeared to be a drug deal transaction occur directly in front of the hotel's front door entrance. If you don't request housekeeping, you won't receive it. Upon entry there were hairs from previous guests in the beds and bathroom. The room could have initially been cleaned a little better. Some food items were not available, such as potatoes and corned beef hash, on a busy Saturday. One day there was corned beef hash but no potatoes, and the following day there were potatoes but no corned beef hash. The hallway area in front of the elevator smelled of smoke several times. One evening, smoke wafted into the room at 1:00 am. I had an okay stay, but may want to consider other locations for a future visit.

I was never allowed to speak directly with the manager. The staff was apethetic; no apologies and no refund. I was taking care of a family emergency; I am on disability and this was expensive, gross, and unacceptable but should never happen to a child regardless.

Revised Review/Complaint Rating: (Updated)…read moreI am officially changing my 5-star review to 1 star. This stay has turned into an absolute nightmare. Our Primary Concerns: The neighbors directly above us are extremely rude and disrespectful. They bang, jump, and run across the floor all night long. We haven't slept in nearly six nights straight, which is unacceptable given we have to wake up early for work. To make matters worse, when we politely asked them to be quiet, they became nasty and intentionally louder. The walls and bed vibrate and jiggle from the impact of their noise. We are not the only guests they are disturbing, yet the front desk has failed to remove them or resolve the situation. We have reported this multiple times, and management refuses to take action. Final Notice: If this is not resolved immediately (as of 1/28/26), we will be forced to call the police to report a violation of the local noise ordinance and disturbing the peace. We are also requesting a full refund for this horrendous experience. Summary: They make loud noise all day and all night. We haven't slept this entire week, and the front desk refuses to remove them or do anything about it. UPDATE 2/3/26 : After they received our rating they kicked us out and stole all of our money that we paid cash for 3 weeks. Then she tries to claim we have pets when we have zero pets. Trip type: Family If you look at our receipt on the right corner it shows we are good until March 24th 2026 j scratched it out and changed it to February 27th 2026, and then today evicted us because she did not like the bad rating we left on Google. And now all the ratings that we leave on Google she blocks from the public and or deletes. This woman goes by the name of Jay & Rachel. And she claims she's the property manager and also claims she's the property owner depending on what day it is.

I had to fly to Denver to get my passport renewed urgently. There is such a backlog that there were no appointments available in the Twin Cities or Chicago. The Aurora Passport Office was the closest place to Minneapolis that had openings. So, I was looking for the cheapest place I could find that was close to the Passport Office. I read all of the terrible reviews so I figured I would be in for an interesting night. I must admit, however, that I was disappointed. The motel was . . . not terrible. It is just your basic, cheap motel. Check-in was simple and the staff were fine. The price was exactly as quoted in my Hotels.com booking. The room was not fancy but was clean. The water worked and was hot. The Internet was free and decent. Parking was free and convenient. It is in a safe and convenient location. The only event that helped it earn its poor reputation in my eyes was being woken in the middle of the night by some crazy-sounding lady screaming at someone. But I've experienced drunk crazy shouting and arguments at 5-star hotels. Hardly enough to earn this place true dive status. If you are looking for cheap place to stay in Aurora, this place is fine. If you are looking for horror stories to entertain your friends with, you'll likely be disappointed. It is just a cheap, clean hotel in a safe neighborhood. I was hoping for so much worse.

When I got to the hotel, the front desk person said he couldn't find my reservation. He ended up finding it and then told me that the double queen room that I reserved was not available and that expedia doesn't check those kinds of things. I showed him the reservation on my phone and explicitly said I was staying two nights, which he also saw in the reservation on my email. He said he would help me and book it through their system and that I would have to take a double bed room with smaller beds for $118. That actually worked out great for me and I said yes. The next morning I left for the day and when I came back, all my stuff was gone. Obviously I was scared that my stuff got stolen and I went to the front desk to ask where my stuff was. The staff was extremely rude and told me that I only booked one night and that they called me all morning, which they didnt, I hadn't received any call from anyone that day. They made me go to my stuff from the laundry room and pay another $118 for another day. I ended up paying $50 more and had the worst customer service I've ever seen. They were unprofessional, gave me attitude, where lacking empathy and blamed me when it was the person that I checked in with that messed up. Never again. By the way, it turns out that there was only double queens anyways so the whole smaller bed excuse was not true.
