I cannot say enough about these people. I have had several dealings with them & always found them to be fair honest, and helpful. On top of that they recently went way out of their way, to help me. I had an item that I lost track of time, and it expired, they could easily have sold it immediately, but I went to them (for something else), and in talking to them found out, they still had it. The most amazing thing is that the said: " if possible we don't want people to lose their items" , and they proceeded to let me pay a few bucks, and interest, now I have a couple of months to get it. Not a place to sell electronics! Called here to sell an iPad and was encouraged to bring it by. I made the trip to find out they really didn't want it and only offered $25 loan. Lucky for me I called Game Stop and they paid 80 for the same iPad. Rocky's Pawn Shop. You can buy jewelry at a fair price. Watches, rings, womens or mens. I have been going to Rocky's for several years to buy used bikes and have a watch repaired. They charge only 1% per month on pawned items. I like bargains, and I like pawn shops because of the bargains. Most are sort of low end, not a comfortable place to go. This place is more like a store that gives loans or a fixit shop. Also they have a weekly drawing for cash $500. & $100 prizes. Went to Rocky's Cathedral City location recently. I saw a 5 oz. silver bar there that caught my eye. I didn't know much about buying silver at the time but Dan shared his wealth of knowledge on the subject with me in a very clear and patient manor. He checked the current spot price of silver, added a small mark up for the store and I bought the bar from Dan with confidence. Very poor attitude by male employee. Extremely disinterested and borderline condescending. I brought in 2 timepieces I inherited to see what they would give for them. He said that watches don't sell and that they were only worth $30 each to him. These were well cared for examples and had cost in the neighborhood of $400 apiece when new. Naturally I went on my way and went down the street to another pawn shop, where I was offered more than 4 times the amount. Steer clear of Rocky's because they want to rip you off. read more

I've been going to Rocky's for years, and have used both ends of the spectrum for buying, and selling. I recently visited both Palm Springs, and Cathedral City locations for purchases. I was looking specifically for diamond earrings, and found the perfect pair. I don't think what is the matter with people, Lucia and Dan are awesome people! And they don't rip you off.
