Dined at this place after attending church services in the area. We weren't too hungry but we're craving for pizza. It's been a good six months since we had one. We decided to get a large size so we can bring the leftovers home. We got 1/2 thin crust Supremo and Hawaiian (yes, my wife loves pineapple with her pizza ) as well as eight buffalo wings. The pizza was tasty but limp (for lack of a better word) it wasn't baked long enough to crisp the dough at the ends making the slice droop horribly. The wings were okay. Cooked well without any raw portions. Overall it was an okay meal. Not spectacular or outstanding but serviceable. The ambiance of the place was cozy, oddly familiar. I almost felt a sense of deja vu even though I've never been there before. I give this place a B. P.S. we reheated the leftover slices in our oven the next night and the pizza score bumped up from a B to an A-. So much better! read more

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and our order came out quickly, which we appreciated. The pizza was okay , but it wasn't quite what we were hoping for. It was a traditional New York-style pizza with a very soft crust and quite a bit of flop. The pies also seemed to be cooked unevenly, and there was an excessive amount of semolina on the bottom, which gave the crust an unpleasant, gritty flavor. The pie was good and freshly made and the vegetables were good. The Kalamata Olives were way too potent for the pie. They over took the taste of the pie. Black olives would work well as is done in most Pizza Joints. I also recommend that you finish the pie there as leftover will not hold up. The slices become wet rags! The dough is thin and not well worked. They roll the dough with a rolling Pin. Not the correct way to handle pizza dough! The pie dough is like a cracker! Spotless, fast, delicious, excellent service! We stopped based on previous reviews after visiting the nearby Ninja Gym.. Two adults and two hungry and tired kids. We had immediate friendly service, and the food came out fast, hot and delicious. When my son complained that he didn't get noodles like his sister, they brought out a side plate of noodles without our asking. Who does that?? This is the definition of hospitality. 5-star service, and good quality pizza for a neighborhood pizza joint. This is well-worth a trip for family dining. read more

Rocky's is our go to spot for real NYC style Italian food and service. While I usually order one of the sandwiches (they have a great NY based bread supplier). My wife ALWAYS gets the lasagna, and she's an expert at lasagna! In house, made daily, noodles provide the base for inhouse made sausage and a special red sauce that can't be beaten. Decided to try this place because we received a coupon in the mail. The garlic knots were rather disappointing. They were just rolls from the grocery store heated up and then covered with grated Parmesan cheese. There was no garlic. The pizza didn't have a lot of flavor. I had to look back at it to see if there was sauce because I didn't taste it. All the flavor was from the meats. She pretty much threw the cups at us. after ordering at counter we sat down and she started putting chairs up and mopping floors with very strong solution. Brings us our pizza in a box and when we asked for plates and were told we can't eat there. Even though yelp says closes at 10. She stood and argued with us. We went back to hotel. Took one bite of the pizza and spit it out. It had a sour taste. Dough was raw. Carmelized onions were raw a were peppers. Plus no complimentary cannoli. So I heard about this restaurant on a Facebook thread talking about Garlic Knots of all things. The consensus was Rocky's had good ones, and good alfredo. I ordered the Linguine Alfredo which came with a Garlic Knot (yes!) and the owner gave me a free cannoli! What a treat! You'll order your food at the front, have a seat and they'll bring it out to you. I also ordered a pizza at the same time to take home to the kids. They kept it warm until I was ready for it! The portions are enormous. I had so much pasta left, I ate it 3 more times! It was delicious, the sauce didn't break and it was well seasoned. I love linguine instead of fettuccine noodles. The garlic knots were all they were promised to be: warm, flaky, and soaking in garlicky olive oil. Those darn things were out of this world good! My children thought the pizza was ok, but weren't too thrilled with it, and I have to admit I felt the same. It was perfectly good, just not on par with the knots! We also shared the cannoli, and that was incredibly delicious, too. It was very fresh, and the filling was smooth and not grainy. By the time the food got to me it was cold and it looked like the toppings were just thrown on there. I also requested ranch for my mozzarella sticks and did not get it. Pizza was just okay. The crust was chewy and didn't have much flavor. The sauce was pretty good and the toppings were generous. The garlic on the garlic bread was the perfect amount of garlic-to-butter ratio. You can get it with cheese but I didn't see that as an option when I ordered online. The meatballs were fantastic! I liked how they were cut into smaller pieces for easier eating. They were cut small enough to be considered a kid-friendly food. I also got the penne carbonara because another image I saw of it online looked appetizing. It was very good but could have used a bit more sauce. It was very bacon-y, but not in a bad way. The sun dried tomatoes were a nice addition to the pasta. I will definitely come back here for the pasta but probably not for the pizza. read more

This restaurant was steps away from the Hampton Inn where my wife and I were staying. We were ready to accept just about anything after a 11 hour day in the road, so our expectations were not high. Boy, did we luck out. Order and pay at the counter, not fancy by clean and modern. I had their cheese stromboli to which I added three ingredients for a dollar each.
