I was extremely happy with the service that I got, and although I'm sure they were planning tons of other weddings simultaneously, they always made me feel as though I was their top priority. They were willing to take on as much or as little as I wanted them to (I erred towards the former), but I always felt that I was in control of all details and decisions. On the day before our wedding, we had a venue walk-through with her, in which she coordinated details with the venue liaison, and she also led rehearsal. What is most worth your investment is what happens on the day-of. I told Emily my goal was to not make any decisions that day except how many slices of cake I was going to have, and that's exactly what happened. She took care of everything - set up, tear down, vendor coordination, decor, helping to wrangle family for photos, the flow of the evening, the rhythm of the processional, and I'm sure she did a thousand other things we didn't even notice. At one point in the night I asked for a pen and she appeared 5 seconds later with one in hand. I was a little apprehensive at first because we knew Fitsum from my cousin's wedding (she was their coordinator) and wasn't sure about trusting someone else. Boy, was I impressed. Bryn is THEE MOST thoughtful, amazing, and organized person EVER! She thought about details regarding the wedding that I wouldn't have ever thought about. She took the time to listen to my concerns and battle any problems from vendors for me. I honestly had no cares at the wedding because she took care of everything! We had a few cultural elements to our reception that Bryn wasn't experienced in, but that didn't stop her from asking all the right questions and even coming up with solutions to ease each part of the reception without it being too choppy. Bryn and Michelle (another coordinator from Fitsum-ISM we were blessed to work with) took care of making sure decor was set up and taken down. I also told her about some ethnic traditions I wanted to incorporate into my event. She then started talking about ethnic traditions that had nothing to do with my ethnicity. The cherry on top was her blatant racism. During our discussion she mentioned something along the lines of "Chinese, Japanese, or Whatever you are." If you're looking for someone who is sensitive to ethnic traditions, skip this place as I don't feel they have a clue.

In the beginning, I did have some reservations about Stacy due to lack of communication, but when it came to our wedding day, Stacy went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and with ease and professionalism. Even when I did needlessly worry, I didn't have to because Stacy had everything organized and under control. During the planning process, Stacy provided us vendor recommendations and gave us helpful insight on process. She even caught missing napkins from our catering rental order-- which would have been a complete nightmare!
