i advise you.do not take your car to these people. they are a bunch of ripp offs. especially john. he never returned any of my calls. he had all kinds of excuses when i called him . he fucked my car up. he had my car close to two years and did absolutely nothing. they put dents in my classic car,i had the engine built through them.my car was leaking oil from turbo line.i took my car to another mechanic to fix what they did not fix.a bunch of racist pig. now i have to paint my hood that they fucked up. john the ripp off said it was like that. i know my car that i had for 30 years. do not take your car. pissssed off customer read more

Do not do business with these people. John Rodack is an absolute crook. At one point he got mad at me for having a device removed from the vehicle because he was interested in Maybe purchasing it as it was for sale, and there was no way for him to check the vehicles status as it would not turn on unless I had their interlock device removed. I had it removed by making an appointment with his shop, so he could at least inspect the vehicle and he just kept putting me off for weeks saying he could never get to it because he was so busy so I found another buyer and all of a sudden the price John had agreed to hold it at until he could look at the vehicle himself for towing and storage went up $600 and I was being yelled at for the appointment that his staff made so he screamed and yelled at me like an angry child and hung up on me, again for removing a device so he could look at the vehicle himself and also again his staff made the appointment. .....My car was towed to there "business" from a public lot and I was told by them it was towed because "a parent or someone"that would visit the park there complained that it was there for a for a bit. Again it was a public lot so that makes no sense but I digress,he wouldn't say who and couldn't because I'm pretty sure he made the entire situation up. regardless when he found out, he was not going to get the car which he thought I was going to Just sign over my title for what I owed him!? Insanely stupid of him to assume. He turned into a little baby literally yelling and screaming at me for his staff, making the appointment wich he said I had absolutely no right to make any appointment. I told him his wife was the one that made the appointment and he responded. "Well she only babysits the business while I'm not here" which still would not be my problem at all, but he treated me like garbage. Aside from the other reviews, you will see on here saying to stay away from John Rodacks shop . I've spoken with people in the area that have also been screwed over by him and other auto repair shops in the area when I was trying to find out who had my car when it was towed because I was not made aware of who even had my car, every shop that I spoke to gave me numbers of other shops in the area and all of them warned me that if it's at Rodacks be prepared to get screwed and sure enough they were right. never bring your car there for anything. never do business with these people, I'm just passing along the information I was given .... and any conversation you end up having with them at all always record because they'll tell you the following day that they never said something that they had the day prior , or whatever agreement that you had came to never happened. so yes, basically they will steal from you as much as they can. And if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation where your car has been towed there, cover your bases and record everything. I give this place -5 stars. Towing predator and price gauging! do NOT do business here with...JOHN RODAK. If you have been a victim of price gauging by John Rodak and Rodaks Auto Repair please reply to this message because I am gathering evidence to take this shady business to court. They charged close to 1000 dollars to tow my car and when expressed that no individual can nor should pay that amount they intimidate you to pay with CASH ONLY. There is a sign in the office that says they accept credit but they force you into paying cash or they do not release your payment. Please if you have been a victim of this fraudulent business reply back to this message because we need to fight them in court and recoup funds that are owed to us. read more

These guys are wonderful to work with. They are honest to a fault often doing a ton of work they didn't even charge for. They've solved problems (like elusive noises) that stumped the Jeep dealer and Mavis. They'll take perfect care of your car and won't do any unnecessary work like the dealers try to pull on you. My older car was making a real loud belt squealing noise. I was expecting the worst when I brought it in. They could have sold me a new belt and I wouldn't have blinked an eye. They told me that it was fine and just needed an adjustment. I appreciated their honesty. They also did not try to up sell me anything. I hate it when I go to the local oil change place and they pull out cabin filters and dipsticks and try to sell me a bunch of other services. These guys did what I wanted, did it as promised, and didn't try to sell me a bunch of junk I didn't need. This was a great approach because I am telling everyone I know how good they are and will be back for a tuneup and other services after the holidays. My impression was that they are hard working local guys that deserve the business. read more

Very cool company, stayed open late to accommodate me even though I was far later than I said I would be. Then they waited even longer while I ran down the street to get cash from an ATM. Solid honest nice people who took the extra step to help me out when they didn't have to. read more
