I use Criswell exclusively to service my 3 MDXs (yes, I have a fleet!) and have been pleased with the service that I have received. To give you an idea, I've been going to them since 2005 - that's 20 years! IMHO, you get what you pay for so if you want rock bottom prices go to a 3rd party repair shop. If you want OEM parts and trained mechanics, go to Criswell. And, shout out to the parts department. Helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. Aug 2025: Check-in Criswell Acura continues impress. Service is 'firing on all cylinders' so to speak. I was annoyed with the free car wash that was promised (one of the salesman's selling points) every time you bring your car in for service. I have never seen a more half-ass wash in my life. Also, I took my vehicle in for a recall service last August and they didn't even bother to wash it. I was going to let it go and just take my business elsewhere. My wife didn't let it go and asked that a manager give her a call. Apparently the manager is waaaay too busy or he/she doesn't give a damn. A week has passed and we still haven't received a call from the manager. It's only a car wash, but it was promised and I hold businesses to their promises. If they let simple things slip, how will they handle bigger issues? I guess I'll never know because they've lost my business. I've bought a TL, a TSX and an RDX from Criswell - guess I'm not an important enough customer.

I was trying to get the car home legally without paying thousands to ship it -- something I've done with other states before. Instead, I spent months getting conflicting and incorrect advice from other tag & title places and the Maryland MVA. I was repeatedly told it was "impossible," or that only the MVA might be able to do it with long waits, appointments, and excessive hassle. Meanwhile, the car sat at a friend's house while I tried to figure out what to do. All I actually needed -- which no one else could clearly explain -- was a 15-day transit tag and the correct paperwork. Maryland Express Tag & Title was the only place that truly understood the process. When I first spoke with Kelsey on the phone, she immediately said yes and clearly explained exactly what paperwork I needed to bring. Given all the bad advice I had received elsewhere, it sounded almost too easy -- so I asked her to please confirm with a manager. She did, called me back, and confirmed again that everything would be fine if I brought the documents she outlined. When I visited the location inside the Bowie Walmart on December 10th, I worked with Michael M. and Leticia T. They reviewed everything right away, reassured me I was good to go, and handled the entire process professionally and efficiently. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, including fixing a couple of sections I had missed on the paperwork. I had set aside an entire day -- and even planned for an overnight stay if needed -- but their efficiency saved me a massive amount of time and stress. My insurance company told me that New York and Maryland are two of the hardest states to deal with, which makes their competence even more impressive. I bought an older, increasingly rare car I wanted when I was a teenager, and thanks to this team, it finally made it home. If I had called this shop first, I likely could have driven it back months earlier. Huge thanks to Kelsey, Michael M., and Leticia T. -- they absolutely deserve the recognition. I will 100% use this location again and recommend it to anyone dealing with out-of-state or private-sale vehicle paperwork. I wish they were in NY.
