This vehicle is WAY overpriced 14k 80 something thousand miles!
Billy K.

On 07/24/24 I went to Rodeo AUTO Sales on the N. Fwy, around 1pm. I was first greeted by Francisco Sosa with the generic usual car salesman handshake.Francisco Sosa took me to his office to discuss vehicles. I first told my situations about credit and down payments. After Francisco Sosa hearing my story, he said he will work with me Francisco Sosa then asked how much I had to put down on a vehicle. I told him I had $1500 to put down. Plainly told him I didn't have it at that moment. Francisco said don't worry about it just come up with $1000, and we will work out the rest in payments. Francisco Sosa told me that my credit wouldn't matter he does in-house financing. after telling me all the things that I want to hear from a car salesman, he then told me to look outside for the type of vehicle I wanted that's has a flag on it. After looking around at several vehicles, I noticed a 2012 Honda Civic with 82k or 83k miles on it. Still walk back into Francisco Sosa office to inquire about that vehicle. He told me that vehicle will be $14,000 and I told him that price is very steep and he agreed. Francisco said that my credit will determine that price on payments, after telling me that my credit doesn't matter from the beginning . that was one red flag that I overlooked in good hopes that this will work out. Told him that I will be coming back next Friday, August 2 with the $1000 down payment. Francisco Sosa gave me his business card and told me to text my number to him. So I did! Something told me to come by today, July 29 to let Francisco Sosa know what type of work I do so I don't be surprised when I return Friday with my down payment so no time would be wasted. I said that in text message he never respond so I had to drive up there. when I went to his office, we spoke for a brief. Because he was dealing with a customer before me he referred me to his colleague Sergio. which I think is strange because I dealt with him first originally... I could have waited... Francisco Sosa assured me that I will be taking care of by Sergio. Well, I was in for a surprise. I told Sergio about my employment type. Will that be OK? First played a little game to ask me for my drivers license first and email it to him and then he wanted my Social Security number. I asked him what was he searching my credit for because that is a hard inquiry and I'm just trying to disclose my employment, before I return Friday so I don't waste time being turned away. He told me that I cannot have any type of gig app jobs; such as DoorDash/Uber or Lyft etc. do not go to this Dealer they will say one thing and do the opposite. The vehicle they are selling its way of the priced for the type of miles on it and condition and year. Francesca said it would take 2 to 3 years to pay off a $14,000 vehicle which is the Honda Civic 2012 at 82 or 83K miles. How ridiculous does that sound guys do the math?

I've bought several vehicles here. At the moment I'm leasing a Kia Soul for my 18 year old daughter and I feel confident that she's going to be safe driving in it. If we ever do have an issue their service department is quick to help us find a solution and schedule a service appointment and they let us know if it's covered under or warranty and even help us make payment arrangements if necessary. When our lease is up, we'll be able ti upgrade her or finish if we like without it affecting our credit, and for $500 we can terminate the lease whenever we want to before the contract date. It's not going to be her forever car so I appreciate the option. They always have giveaways for customers and free events. They help me set up my autopay and send out reminders. I'm building my credit. I didn't have very good credit but a steady job and they still accepted my application with a reasonable down payment. The payment does seem a little high for a young adult but it's a 2018 with a very good warranty and gap insurance, so you're getting what you're paying for. Overall I highly recommend for people needing a good reliable vehicle with a back up team. Especially if you're struggling to get approved at those other newer car dealerships. You do need a steady job and residence. And picture ID. Their inventory is improving too.

Please ask for Cesar ! I told him what I had and he helped me and made SURE I LEFT SAME DAY ! WONDERFUL 10/10 definitely recommend

I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to do their…read morehomework, get a thorough independent inspection, and understand exactly what you are getting into before signing anything. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on March 19, 2026, and within a few weeks I experienced a major safety issue when the brake booster failed. I immediately contacted the service department and explained that my brakes had gone out and that this was a serious situation. Unfortunately, I was told the earliest appointment available was about a week away. Being unable to safely drive the vehicle, I was forced to take it somewhere else and pay out of pocket for repairs. Since purchasing this vehicle, I have spent **$2,636.41** on unexpected repairs, including the brake booster, ABS-related repairs, drive belt repairs, brake light switch replacement, A/C issues, and a water pump replacement. These are not minor maintenance items--these were significant repairs that occurred shortly after purchase. What has been most disappointing is not just the repairs themselves, but the lack of urgency and support when I reached out for help. When you purchase a vehicle, especially from a dealership, you expect at minimum that your concerns will be taken seriously and that there will be reasonable assistance when major problems happen shortly after the sale. I understand that used vehicles can have issues, but the timing and severity of these problems have been extremely frustrating. I have documented all repairs, receipts, and communication regarding my attempts to get service. My advice to future buyers: **do not skip a pre-purchase inspection, carefully review all paperwork, and be prepared for unexpected expenses.** Make sure you are comfortable with the purchase because once the paperwork is signed, getting help afterward may be much more difficult than you expect. I hope this feedback encourages the dealership to improve how they handle customers who experience serious problems shortly after purchasing a vehicle.

The finance manager, Margaret, was also very proficient and pleasant. She explained the maintenance and protection plans clearly and concisely. I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee around 4:30 pm on a Friday and was able to pick the vehicle up the next day after it was detailed and filled with gas. Roger even gifted me with a Jeep Yeti cup, a Jeep keychain, and a rubber duck to start my collection. I highly recommend AutoNation, Roger, and Margaret for your next new vehicle purchase!

Buyer Beware - Major Undisclosed Damage at AutoNation…read more I purchased a Lexus a little over 30 days ago. Shortly after delivery, the dealership kept the car for about a week for repairs, and upon return I discovered a new tire puncture and significant bumper damage that wasn't there before. I took it to Lexus, whose official report confirmed the bumper damage resulted from a major front-end accident prior to my purchase, even though the Carfax they provided only listed a "minor" accident. This is a serious misrepresentation and failure to disclose material defects. I have demanded a full unwind with complete refund of purchase price, taxes, and fees with no penalties, but the dealership has not resolved it, so I am currently speaking with my lawyer to pursue full restitution and am prepared to take further legal action. Warning to other buyers: Do not trust the Carfax reports here -- one of their managers even admitted they do not do thorough inspections before placing cars on the lot. Get your own independent manufacturer inspection before buying, consider a more trustworthy dealership, and shop elsewhere to avoid this stressful and costly experience.
