This is going to be a long one. I initially came here and met with dr Ibrahim. I was pushed pretty…read morehard into going to veneers route which turned into a nightmare. This had to of been the worst dental experience I've ever had. From the start they were changing things. They went from veneers to crowns to a bridge because they shaved off too much of the tooth. I ended up with nerve damage near my nose because of how many shots were administered to numb my mouth. It wasn't until we were into the procedure that I was told that Celine didn't use gas or sedatives. So I went through this entire process just fully in it. They made my teeth look extremely long and ended up having to use a fake gum line to correct their mistakes. Absolutely horrendous procedure. Right after it was done not only did the assistant leave but dr Ibrahim apparently up and left for good to supposedly take care of his parents and now there was another dr Ibrahim. It was all crazy and extremely janky. The whole operation left me at a point where I'm just going to do implants after spending over 20k with Celine! My wife luckily did not take Celine's recommendations and went to a reputable dentistry that took very good care of her and showed her that Celine was lying about her filling being cracked. They said the filling was just fine and Celine seemed to be trying to make money. Maybe the new dentist walked into a bad storm here and maybe he will do better but as for my experience with Celine. It was an absolute nightmare and I would recommend this company to anyone.

This dentist's website claims he is deeply connected to the community, known for his kindness and…read moresensitivity, and committed to building trust and confidence through the doctor-patient relationship. I am here to tell you, as a parent who watched both my son and daughter-in-law go through this, that he is none of those things. My son has exceptional teeth. His previous dentist complimented his enamel and natural color regularly; he takes outstanding care of them. He came to this dentist simply because two old fillings were bothering him. Those fillings had lasted 20 years without issue. He left this office in more pain than when he walked in, pain that lasted for weeks. He was also handed a treatment plan totaling close to several thousand dollars worth of work. When he brought that paperwork to our former dentist, he was told only one item on the entire list was actually necessary, and it didn't involve any drilling. It was simply a wisdom tooth extraction. The rest was unnecessary work that would have cost my son thousands of dollars out of pocket. My daughter-in-law's experience was even worse. He performed an incomplete root canal on her and then cemented a permanent crown over it. She has been in excruciating pain for weeks. When our former dentist reviewed the work, he was genuinely shocked by what he saw. The idea of going to a dentist is to relieve pain, not to leave patients in worse condition than they arrived. Getting any resolution has been nearly impossible. He takes days to return calls, closes his office without notice, and when my son and daughter-in-law finally managed to meet with him, they were treated with complete disrespect rather than any accountability or compassion. These are kind, reasonable people who simply did not want to be ignored after being failed. One more thing worth noting: my son observed almost entirely different staff members nearly every visit over the course of two years. High staff turnover is one of the clearest red flags in any medical practice. It tells you something about how that office is run. You are vulnerable when you sit in a dentist's chair. You are in pain. You deserve kindness, honesty, and competent care. Based on what my family experienced, this office offers none of those things. Please protect your dental health and look elsewhere.

Sitting in my car, I already felt the anxiety building because dental visits can be nerve-racking for me. When I checked my appointment again, I realized I was actually scheduled at Fair Lakes Family Dentistry, so I drove over hoping this experience would be different. The moment I walked in, the beautiful lobby and welcoming staff immediately shifted the tone. A.D., the dental assistant, called me back and introduced herself with such warmth that my guard began to lower. Our conversation felt natural and calming, which helped me relax before the appointment even began. Then I met Corey, the dental hygienist. When he spoke, I noticed his accent and asked where he was from. When he said Memphis, I smiled instantly--because I'm from Memphis too, born and raised. That small moment of connection turned what could have been a stressful appointment into something much more human. Corey listened as I shared my past dental concerns and experiences. His empathy, patience, and attentiveness made me feel like a person, not just a patient. As a counselor, I deeply value when professionals create a space where someone feels seen, heard, and respected. Corey did exactly that. Even during the procedure, everything was handled with gentle care and reassurance. Instead of feeling tense the entire time like I normally do at the dentist, I actually felt safe. If you're someone who feels nervous about dental visits, I highly recommend Fair Lakes Family Dentistry. Their team truly understands that caring for people means caring for more than just their teeth. Thank you especially to A.D. and Corey for making such a meaningful difference in my experience.

THEY TAKE CARE OF YOU LIKE FAMILY here at Cypress Oral!…read more My story is that I've had a root-canal done on a premolar years ago in another city, and unfortunately that surgeon somehow botched the crown post placement in an irreparable way. I put off getting it replaced by a bridge/implant simply because of the expense and because I didn't know who to trust. Fast forward to a few months ago, my stepdad's brother, a seasoned dentist but not an oral surgeon, recommended Cypress Oral to suit my predicament. I couldn't be more grateful that I went with his recommendation! Dr. Price and Dr. Michael both took excellent care of me from the moment I met them, as if they were doing a favor for their own nephew! Wow! They are both very knowledgeable about their expertise and covered things I didn't even see mention of in my research. I was nervous about the issue of price and potential complications, but they didn't pressure me in anyway, just kindly informed me of my best option, which for me was the implant. They eased a lot of my anxiety about the whole process. The staff quoted a much better, reasonable price than I was given at other practices. Hardly common these days, these folks actually care more about their patients than their revenue! What's more, both Dr. Price and Michael went above and beyond to help me out in what for me had been a hard time financially. Thank you so much! So I took the chance and I'm so glad I did! The procedure was so quick (isn't anesthesia great?) I didn't even know they were finished when I came to! Ha! It barely even hurt during my recovery too, great job! Now I have a nicely-healed gum site with a flawless post where there was once a cringe-worthy, nasty mess of decaying enamel that had been that way for more than 5 YEARS. Amazing! I couldn't ask for a better experience! Thank you so much Dr. Michael and Dr. Price, and thank you Cypress Oral! God bless you all!

However, Yelp has broadened its…read morescope over the years and it a place where people come looking for reviews of everything beyond just restaurants and bars. I became a new patient at Cypress Dental Group. Upon leaving they asked me to write a Yelp review. Clearly, the principals of this dental practice understand the power of social media, wisely counseling their staff to make "the ask" before a patient has exited. What brought me to Cypress Dental was obviously a problem I was experiencing, which was not earth-shattering, yet the condition was bothersome. The diagnosis required tooth extraction. The dentist and his assistant provided me with a clear and concise explanation and understanding of the process. Both were congenial and professional as were the rest of the staff in the practice whom I had encountered before and after my treatment. The extraction procedure was expedient and uneventful. I am impressed by the efficiency of this dental group and their standards of patient care. Cypress Dental Group, in my opinion, displays a passion for excellence. I am grateful for getting treated at Cypress Dental within a day of my call for an appointment. My overall experience was positive. Therefore, Cypress Dental earns a five-star review. If you are looking for a new dentist I recommend giving CDG a shot at earning your business.

I came in for a teeth cleaning, covered by Delta Insurance for $0, and left owing an "estimated" $3882.48! For instance, the usual & customary fees or U.C.F. Lists 3M 5000 toothpaste for $299! The E.F."estimated fee" is dropped to $30.00. Amazon sells it for $15.80 with out insurance! The 3M PerioMed U.C.F. is $354, E.F. (what I paid) is $30. Again Amazon's price with tax, is $15.14! So I shelled out $62.48 (tax included). That's a $31.54 markup! There are other areas where I am not satisfied with some charges billed. Do the overcharges merit the otherwise satisfactory services performed? Doubtful, I shall soon see. But I hope some adjustments will be made to a more reasonable total.
