    Battle of the burger
    Sydney T.

Came on Mother's Day and waited less than 5 minutes for a table. I loved that they gave out colors and sheets for the kids. Our sever was friendly and prompt. The decor is hilarious with all the goats and the kids got a kick out of it. We got the goat chips and steaming pile for appetizer and they were excellent. The sauce was originally missing because it was being made from scratch, so no problem with that. We also got the churro goat balls and that was excellent even though I took those to go. I typically get the battle of the burger, which I did again, so I don't remember the name but I was tasty as usual. Will definitely come back!

We've been here multiple times and I was surprised when I noticed I had yet to leave a review......we ALWAYS get exceptional service, and Brian on Mother's Day was no different.....the food is delicious, the drinks are cold and served timely, and the entire staff is friendly and helpful.....it's a great place to grab a bite to eat and a drink before a Rangers or Cowboys game

    CHEESE FRIES SURPRISE

Another amazing burger at Rodeo Goat! We both ordered Saddle Up! Competition burger that has (TWO SMASH PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, MAPLE-GLAZED THICK-CUT BACON. SUNNY-SIDE UP FRIED EGG, CHIVES, PICKLES, DIJONAISSE $14.99) I had the last 3 ingredients taken off my burger. We split CHEESE FRIES SURPRISE (cheddar, bacon, jalapeños & ((surprise!)) Brisket Chili over a large helping of Hand Punched Fries $13.99) Man that brisket chili is phenomenal!!! They layer in the ingredients on the fries so you get chili all the way on the bottom layer. I really enjoyed my burger too! I don't think I've ever had an egg on my burger. We got "our booth" in the corner so it was nice and quiet for about 30 minutes. Our server was so sweet... her name was Emi! My only critique would be they should salt their fries....

First stop while in town visiting. I saw the menu online and noticed they had vegan options. Service was quick and casual. I ended up trying the Sugar Burger with no bacon and an impossible patty. I also got the goat chips because it said sweet and spicy. Now everything came out perfect, no complaints there. The burger was huge. I guess I was hoping for a flavor bomb, but everything seemed under seasoned. Nothing stood out as amazing. I tasted no sweet or spicy on the goat chips. Maybe it a just me. I would give the place another shot but as of right now, I was underwhelmed.

I have ordered from Rodeo Goat at their Dallas location on Market Center for lunch at work but never had a chance to dine in. After leaving the mall in Arlington, I was searching the area for a nice sit-down dinner with my wife and Rodeo Goat popped up nearby. We decided to check them out. Once inside I noticed the decor was was pretty cool and really gives you that Texas rodeo feel once inside. Very clean, great service, and of course, great food. The seating is open so you can seat yourself. I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't get to snap any pictures of my food because I was so hungry and just wanted to get straight to eating. I wanted to shout out Sydney, who was holding the bar down. Sydney was super sweet and very attentive to make sure our dining experience was smooth. All of the staff there were super nice. I would definitely eat at this location again if in the area.

We came here today because Chowhound.com said they had the best fries in Texas. We ordered drinks, B-L-TX and Ultra. My BLTX was really good. Ultra is always gonna taste like watered down beer but it was cold. The fries were tasty. They were topped with real cheese, jalapeños, chili brisket and bacon. The fries didn't get soggy which was great. They were perfect. I wish the jalapeños were seedless and cut up smaller. I like a little heat spread over my fries not all in one bite. The chili brisket was ok. It had a lot of chili powder and I feel it was overpowering but my husband loved it. The place was practically empty. Plenty of TV's to watch sports and the service was pretty good. Only complaint was that waters weren't brought to table and we had to ask at the bar. Great place to stop after play arcade games at Cidercade. We will be back.

Plenty of parking available, seating at bar, booths or tables. We were there for a late lunch and a beer. I love the selection of burgers; really interesting combinations. We halved the Glinda burger; Beef patty, jalapeño bacon, pimento cheese, pickled watermelon radish, raspberry-chipotle sauce, all on a Wicked pink bun. It was so delicious!! The jalapeño tater tots were crispy on the outside with a soft potato and jalapeños inside; I've never had anything like it; amazing!! Slim selection of local draft beers. The server was friendly and efficient. The music was entertaining; they played a big variety of songs.

Spicy bastard - tell them you like it spicy and they'll bring you some great spicy bbq sauce on the side.

Fun burger place that was enjoyed by everyone! The fries are HUGE and even though it was 5 of us we barely ate 1/2 of them. The burgers were unique and definitely fresh! They had a great spicy bbq sauce for your chili heads! I can't remember what we ordered but it was great!! The kids and adults all enjoyed the fresh food.

I really wanted to like this place because I've had Rodeo Goat before as I ordered it once in Oklahoma through DoorDash and the burger was great. So when I saw Arlington was getting a location, I was excited to try it close to home. I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon, and it wasn't busy. I ordered at the bar since I wanted something quick before heading home. Service was fine....not rude, but not particularly friendly either. When I asked a few questions, the vibe was kind of "get what you want," which didn't leave the best impression. My food came out quickly. I ordered a build-your-own burger with bacon, cheddar cheese, herb mayo, and onion. Unfortunately, the burger itself just wasn't great. The bacon was half crispy, half fatty, and the "onion" was literally one thin, almost dehydrated slice. The patty was slightly pink in the center which was not a big deal but the texture and overall flavor were off. I ended up eating half and tossing the rest because I just didn't enjoy it. It wasn't worth the warm-up or the calories later. The fries were actually the best part: hand-cut, nicely cooked, not greasy, and crisp. They needed salt though. But overall, for $17 for a burger and fries to go, it didn't feel worth it. I don't know what's different between this location and the Oklahoma one, but this visit was disappointing. I really like the Arlington space. It's got a fun, interesting vibe but the food and service just didn't deliver. They have a lot of options here so maybe it's what I got and if there ever was a future visit I would try some more options. But for right now, I can think of five other burger, places that are better. For comparison, my go-to burger spot is Kincaid's. Their bacon is always crispy, the toppings are consistent (and they actually give you onion!), and their onion rings with ranch are fantastic. Maybe Rodeo Goat Arlington will improve since it's still fairly new, but based on this visit, I wouldn't go back.

    Cheese and jalapeño tots

Convenient specialty hamburger and beer joint located near Cowboy and Ranger's Stadium. I went on a Wednesday midday, so not too crowded. Nice size building with plenty of parking. I ordered the Ranch Burger, and it was seasoned to perfection except my bread kept falling apart! A little messy, so continued eating with my fork. I had an order of cheese jalapeño tator tots, which I do not recommend. The taste was not what I expected, very bland potato bites for $6. My friend had brisket chili served with tortilla chips, that was ok. Overall the food was ok, and not served too hot. Our waitress at the bar was nice and attentive. I will try again in a few months! Worth a try!

Bodacious, sub candied bacon - my "go to"

I plan to return so that I can update this to my overall view- because I don't think that one visit can determine the rating, since this wasn't a "horrible" experience. This visit won't be any time soon, though. Time: Thursday, during happy hour (Rodeo time, 3-6, M-F) ---Around 5:45p Parking: on site. The parking lot was full. I'm unsure if there was more parking around the back. Location: off Division street in Arlington. Open seating: come in and sit where you want. There's a bar, large community tables near the entrance on your left, booths that line the bar, other seating on the opposite side of the bar. You can view the kitchen and employees cooking from where you sit. Staff: busy, but nice. This is still fairly new to Arlington. Cleanliness: no concerns. Bathroom was clean as well. What we ordered: Rattlesnake : $6 -- this is a frozen margarita swirl. 3.8/5. Tasted slightly watered down for a frozen. But the alcohol content was there. Vanilla Milkshake- 4.5/5 -- tall glass, good vanilla flavor. Queso and chips: 4.5/5- we ate all the dip ! Chips, we wondered if the "greasy look" was normal, or if they make their chips in house and the grease was old? Or these were "re fried." The chips were also really salty. Something was a little off about the chips, but not "too off" to complain or refuse to eat. Burgers ordered : Bodacious and Brad Sham - both with candy bacon subs. The Bodacious is usually great - my go to burger in Dallas. My friend ate half, but got a to go box, so it must've been good enough for her to eat later. Now, the Brad Sham-- 2/5. Burger fell apart, the taste wasn't there, the tomato was cut about the same thickness of the burger. The fried onion that comes on the burger is a THICK onion ring (the onion slid out of the batter). Presentation wise- I wasn't too excited when it got to the table. Everything on the burger was thicker than the patty (not the lettuce, of course). I ended up not eating my other half-- and burgers are my favorite thing to eat. I requested the check (they bring out devices for you to check out table side). I chose to "print" my receipt and verbally told our waiter that I chose to print the receipt. He took off and never returned to our table. After waiting 5 minutes, I went to sit at the bar to get someone to retrieve my check. He even passed by me while I was at the bar. Now, I've served. If my table were at the bar, I would have asked if everything was okay. I know it's easy to forget things- especially when things are getting busy- but I would've observed that and inquired about it. Anyway- the bar tender helped me out, we got the check, and we left- and at the perfect time because a storm hit Arlington out of nowhere. I prefer my Dallas location, and may give Division one more try, since it's so close to me. But after that second try, if it's not a good experience, I'll take Rodeo Goat, Arlington off my list. Proximity doesn't matter to me as much as quality and experience. Try it for yourself!!!

Rodeo Goat's Arlington location is great! If you want to try a great burger I recommend this place! The servers have always been friendly and helpful. I enjoy the Burger Battle that they have. Two burgers go head to head to see which one will stay on the menu. This location has plenty of free parking which is always a plus. The restrooms and lobby are always clean. Depending on the time of day, you should expect a little wait. But that's how you know the food will be worth it.

    This is a goat

So I've been seeing signs all over the place for for this restaurant and we were in the area so we decided to stop in. The main subject of the restaurant seems to be goats. They do have some menu items that has like cheese made from goat's milk and things like that, but I'm thinking most of their burgers. If not all of them are beef. I don't know if he could actually get a goburger. I didn't look that hard on the menu but I probably wouldn't get one because I've had goat and it's just not my style. They do have a lot of interesting menu items, especially if you're from the area. They have a Brad sham burger. They've got a bodacious which for $1 more you can get a Chuck Norris Burger which is a bodacious that kicks ass, which I think is a very creative idea. I got a few other items. As far as the atmosphere goes, it's probably pretty noisy when it's full. We were there on a Wednesday night kind of light so it wasn't too bad but I would hate to see it after rangers game because I'm sure or during a rangers game and I'm sure it would be crazy busy. The speed of service was a little slow but it looks like that they cook everything from scratch so we'll give him that. If you ask me if I would go back I would probably say no. Not because the food wasn't good, but it was a little bit pricey and it's not convenient to where I live. And there are so many burger places in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that this one doesn't stand out.

At that time, brunch was around $40-$45 and I truly enjoyed myself. This time for Mother's Day, it was the exact same food, but the price jumped to about $55 per person. Everything was going well until my daughter asked for a to-go container for a slice of pie. After that, the manager, Joe, walked up to our table of eight adults and two children and literally rolled his eyes and stared us down for what felt like 10-15 minutes. I would normally give courtesy to our waiter, but instead of helping, he sat there with the manager talking negatively while we were still dining. I can't even remember his name, but he appeared very unkempt. Meanwhile, the table next to us had two girls dining, and he continuously checked on them asking if they were ready to go or needed anything else before leaving. We arrived around 1 PM and by 2 PM we were already getting death stares from management, as if we had overstayed our welcome. We were not even there for two full hours, yet the entire experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. On top of a $513 bill, we still left an $80 tip, only to feel stared down over asking for one small to-go box for pie. Also worth mentioning: there are only TWO bathroom stalls while they are serving what looked like well over 150 people during brunch service, so the wait for the restroom alone was ridiculous. The food was still good, but the hospitality completely changed my opinion of this place. Prices went up, service went down, and the atmosphere felt very unwelcoming compared to Easter brunch. I'll gladly take my money back to downtown Dallas restaurants instead.
