This was the worst Hilton and definitely the worst Tapestry collection hotel I have ever stayed in!…read moreIt was a total catfish! The pictures are all a lie! The only good thing about the hotel is the staff; they were all kind. The hotel itself should be ashamed to call itself a Tapestry Collection Hilton. First the room smelled old and stale. I have photos of the cracks in the walls. The chipped paint. The dirt along the baseboards. The shower floors totally chipped. The pipes knocking loudly every single morning. It was awful. I would never stay here again and recommend no one ever waste their money here.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our fridge maintenance guy came and replaced it. He's also a mixologist. Our room was very clean and spacious. The ambiance was very eclectic all the furniture was comfy. The Lounge at The Watt had great drinks and bar food was pretty good. We ordered the Bourbon chicken wings and steak and cheese egg roll weren't my favorite but the wings were good. If you go try the French 75. We both slept like babies our bed was very comfortable. I look forward to returning to the Watt. To all my Yelpers let's continue to eat our way through the world #foodie4life.

The bed is comfortable, my favorite are the pillows. There is no noise that I can hear from the 4th floor except for usual hallway noises when people are out and about. The parking is easy. I used the gym several times and it's never busy. I used the laundry room as well and very easy to operate. The front desk can give you change. The front desk has been beyond helpful during my stay. Highly highly recommend this place.

Extremely limited. Only flavored/sugary creamer for coffee. No 1/2&1/2. Had to go buy some. 3) Guy at check in was terrible. His customer service is so bad, the DMV is jealous. Couldn't understand a word he said. Made it clear my checking in was taking him away from playing on the internet. Wasn't even offered a bottle of water the first night. Had to buy one for $4. 4) Pillows are terrible. Our room was decent, but it felt a bit dirty, and the shower was even worse. There was rust around the drain, which made the shower look and feel unhygienic; it needs to be cleaned or repaired. We had breakfast the next morning, and while the food was acceptable, I would recommend going to a local breakfast spot instead. Overall, I would suggest staying here, especially if you need to catch a flight to Newark.

But if you're here on business or expect to get online, expect not to. Hotel WiFi sucks, even if you pay for the upgrade. But even my personal devices wouldn't work or lag, and my devices are on multiple cellular suppliers, so it wasn't like I was only using Verizon and that had an issue. It was all of them, must be a bad dead spot in the hotel property. The heating and AC sucks also, one room I had had a window unit not installed properly so I had a ton of bugs flying around the room. Other rooms I stayed in either was way to cold or to hot, thermostat are so primitive so they just basically hang on the wall. One of the maids, total smoke show!! If it wasn't for the WiFi be so bad, I would stay just to hook up with the maid

The room was clean; while the furniture was basic, it was in excellent condition. Breakfast is simple so I went out to a diner. This is the first time a stayed at a Spark by Hilton property and found the property to be on-par with Hampton Inn's but with an emphasis on basics. While this property was a take-over and remodel of another brand, there is very little indication that this was not a completely refurbished property. The only hint I saw was in the elevator in which the back side is glass, so as the elevator rises you can see outside. The tell sign is that while every detail inside the property is clean as a whistle, the window in the elevator are not, a minor detail overlooked. My room, 515, was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Close to the single elevator, there were times when it took some time for it to arrive, most 5 floor hotels do have more than one elevator. There were plenty of outlets in the room and the bead was ultra-comfortable, but the chair at the desk while fitting with the décor, is not functional for someone to work at the desk. All the staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. I had an early departure, so I did not have an opportunity to check out breakfast, but parking was complementary which is always a plus, even though it was not gated. I like Spark for a quick, convenient and affordable overnight stay, but for more than one night, there are other Hilton brands I'd prefer to stay with. You be the judge; I think you'll like it overall as I did!

Stayed here for 3 nights in early December, 2025 for my Nephew's wedding at the James Ward Mansion…read more The Mansion is 2 blocks from this hotel so you can walk it over easy even in 20 degree temps like I did. I parked the car in their free lot and did not move it for 3 days. Some spaces covered and some uncovered. They have carts but you will move your bags in and out. Everything is fine about this hotel and the prices reasonable. The front desk folks were fast, courteous, and efficient and gave me extra towels when I needed them right away to bring to the room no hassle, no wait. Just one night desk clerk snapped at me when I asked for towels because she said they don't do the laundry on Sunday, may run out, but she got them for me anyway with a bad attitude and sour face. The towels here were excellent quality. Beds/Pillows comfortable, but not like at a 5 star hotel. Room was clean and cleaned well. I interacted with housekeeping and they were nice. This location is with all the restaurants and shops of Westfield--an upscale area of NJ. You can walk out your door to eat and shop. I walked over and had breakfast at the Westfield Diner two times and dinner at the Thai restaurant next door to the Diner one time. All good places. The Diner gets you in and out quick. The free breakfast at this Best Western Hotel is small and not great--so plan on going to one the great bagel, coffee shops, and diners walking distance to the hotel. I went to the hotel free breakfast the first morning and not again--it's not the way to start your day properly. There is also a Trader Joe's walking distance and picked up a tuna sandwich there for lunch one of the days. I would definitely stay at this hotel again--I liked the whole area and all the services easy walking distance. If it was warmer and I had more free time I would have walked more around the area. There is a train that run in the back of the hotel so be on notice that it could be noisy in some back rooms. I was in the front and had no problem--but I sleep with earplugs if needed.

We did not have hotel reservations at all when we left Baltimore for this trip, which is not how I like to roll, but I was waiting for my refund until moments before we left. We drove all the way to East Rutherford, had dinner, saw Pantera and Metallica and THEN went to find a hotel room. Motel 6 and Super 8s are our go-to motels when we find ourselves in late night situations like this. The clerk in the office was mostly concerned that we understood that it was a SMOKING room. Oh, no problem, buddy. We smoke. Though I did not expect there to be a GIANT burn hole in the center of the comforter on the bed. Just throw that thing out. It cannot cost that much to pick up a new king size blanket somewhere. We don't use hotel bedding anyway. We bring our own comforters and pillows. After stripping the bed, the room was decent. It was not an accessible room, per se, as I could not use the bathtub, nor could I fit my chair through the bathroom door, but this has never stopped us before. The room was ENORMOUS. No table and chairs, no fridge, no microwave but I never had to fear backing up into furniture in the middle of the night, in the dark, on the way to the bathroom. The sink was located outside the bathroom, and did not drain. The bed was uncomfortable, and the air conditioner was not up to the task of cooling the room, but that's nothing a couple of cocktails couldn't fix. All I needed was a place to sleep after our daily all-day adventures, and a place to pee (I mentioned cocktails, right?). I seriously do not need a lot when it comes to motels/hotels and this place did the job. If you're high maintenance or picky, this place probably isn't for you. But I liked the NYC themed art, and the dark blue and sand color walls, and that I could park right outside our door. Some people can't handle MOTELS, and this is definitely a motel. Know thyself.
