Whatever you do, do NOT stay here. I chose this hotel against my better judgement. Their HVAC is incredibly outdated. Many reviews mention it. My heat worked however the fan was malfunctioning causing it to make a loud incessant ticking noise. The engineer came up to look at it and instantly heard it. He said there was nothing he could do and to talk to the front desk as it was impossible to sleep with the noise and vibration. I informed management and the manager on duty was disgustingly rude. Refused to do anything about it - no apology. No problem-solving. Claimed there were no other rooms available and did not offer to find another Hilton property for me. No respect for guests and no concept of what customer service even means. Just avoid this place at all costs - you will thank yourself. No proximity to LaGuardia is worth this Edit to add that the so-called refund offered was not helpful since I was here on an airline voucher. Sounds like you did not personally review this case and my reservation closely (or at all.) The staff are really nice here. The room is okay. Bedspread is in terrible shape with strings coming out everywhere. Nightstand is dirty. The shower door frame is disintegrated and absolutely disgusting. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough to sleep well. Despite being booked for 2 days. The afternoon of day 1, the housekeeper came knocking on the door, waking me up, asking when I was checking out. Then proceeded to spend the whole afternoon slamming the other hotel room doors. Making my stay less than peaceful. The breakfast buffet was mediocre, they did provide bread and bagels but no way to toast them. The juices were very watered down. It is conveniently located near the airport, but nothing else. The prices to order food were extravagant, so make sure to prepare to use a ride share or taxi to go out or Order takeout via a delivery app. read more

This Hotel is so convenient with great on-site parking deals and LaGuardia across the expressway. Very clean and comfortable...great breakfast options. We were able to check-in early and start exploring. They offered a shuttle to The 7 train and/ or Flushing Meadows Park/ Citifield. We took a bus back which stopped right across from hotel on Ditmars. Another option which the staff helped us find was to walk a block to borrow a CitiBike and take the Flushing Bay Promenade to Flushing Meadows Park where you can return bike and enjoy Zoo, Unisphere, Queens Museum if you want a break from Manhattan hustle and bustle. Affordable and anxietyfree overall. Cant wait to visit again. read more

Stayed here my first trip to NY and they did not disappoint! My husband is from Queens and swears by this place. Their breakfast was on point every morning. Walking distance to junction and the train.. under the platforms locals sell amazing food from South American to the islands. Location is great, in the heart of flushing. walkable to subways and everything you need. it is very crowded so prepare for lots of people any time of the day! The staff were all wonderful. Pleasant, professional, courteous and listened. Room was clean, well maintained. all amenities were available. the room was also very spacious! bed was comfy. AC worked very well. plenty of outlets, worked at the desk. Breakfast options was amazing, had the usual continental breakfast option AND variety of eggs, French toast, pancakes, sausages, bacon, etc depending on the day, so rotation is good. even had salad. lots of fruit too. Water refill station is available. Can purchase drinks at the bar. there is a very cool restaurant upstairs too. I didn't try the gym or room service though. shuttle to LGA was very convenient. wish they go to JFK as well. I stayed in 3 hotels this trip, Hyatt was the best!! read more

The hotel could not be more accessible to La Guardia. The staff is helpful. Umar helped me with an item I lost and he was very helpful and efficient. The building is older but the furnishings have been updated. The rooms were clean. The breakfast area was clean and had all the usual items. The only fault is that the rooms do not have microwaves or refrigerators. I said that to a front desk person and she offered to have a fridge sent up but I really wanted the microwave. If you are looking for an inexpensive (by NYC0 standards that is so close to the airport and car return you might consider over looking the minor faults. read more

We booked this location the night before an early flight. The interior looks to be in very good shape and the rooms are clean and everything was in order - no complaints about staff or facility! The area of course is perfect for an early morning flight - shuttle was on time and literally 5 minutes from pickup to delta terminal for our flight. Would absolutely stay here again before or after a flight. Of note there is nothing around the hotel to walk to or visit - was a non issue for us as we arrived at 8pm and left at 6:30am. read more

$300-400/night goes a lot further in some places than others. Nothing "bad" happened to me at this hotel but I had expected more in several ways, knowing full well that this was a Hampton to begin with and not the one with the two trees that Mitch Hedberg was so fond of staying in on the road. We started out the experience on an extremely sour note at the airport minutes after I sashayed off of the plane. The guy driving the shuttle (Hampton shares one shuttle with hotel next door, the Plaza) -- that was the sole reason why I booked at this hotel, the free airport shuttle -- saw me flag him down as he was zooming around the corner at the hotel shuttle pick up area in front of the gate, and he actually sped up and zoomed past all pickup opportunities at my terminal. More bizarre I could see the van was empty! I had already waited about 45 minutes at that point and seen 5x Aloft shuttles, 4x Marriotts, etc. But only the one for my hotel and it didn't even stop after we made eye contact and he saw the flagging down going on and then ignored it. Another 20 minutes go by and then another shuttle, different driver, pulls up to where I am waiting at the terminal. By now I have waited over an hour and pulled up uber several times but didn't really feel like paying for that given that I had ONLY booked this extra expensive Hampton (considerably more expensive than the nicer Aloft nearby which clearly had shuttles back and forth about every 10-15 minutes) due to free shuttle included in the Hampton stay. It was a different driver this second time but I still had some questions about how this shuttle business worked, especially because I needed to be back early in the morning for my next flight. I was assured it would all be fine in the morning. At check-in at the front desk the girl also got a number of questions about the shuttle I needed in the morning, on time, no bullshit. She also directed me to walk over the Plaza for dinner when I asked about dinner options. The other girl working the desk looked like she knew food better so I asked her about uberEats restaurants nearby - she knew what was up and ratified the choice I made with Oceanic Boil. I don't judge books by their covers but her neck tats still gave her credibility about what's what in this neighbourhood a lot more than her coworker without neck tats that tried to send me to the shittier hotel next door like I was born last night. The room itself was on the #firstWorldProblems side of lousy. The bed wasn't made entirely of hornets and it was vaguely horizontal but the curtains didn't even come remotely close to closing which is obnoxious to see hell orb number nine poking through your curtains which seem to be made entirely of failure cloth and broken dreams. Waiting for the bicycle man to make his uberEats drop off I explored the rest of the hotel. In the parking lot there was an awesome big rock. Since I was going hiking in the mountains and across the desert for a few weeks I really wanted to let my inner REI out of the cage and climb the rock but alas a sign in the parking lot said not to and the thug life drive was not so strong since my dinner finally arrived from uberEats. The breakfast buffet opened a few minutes late in the morning as they slide the little door open to let you in. Several hungry hungry hippos were massing and we had to tear through it pretty quickly. The waffle maker actually made all four corners of the waffle unlike the Texas shaped griddles in Texas hotels that always seem to malfunction around the Texarkana area of the waffle. The blueberries were a nice touch for the toppings area which redeemed this hotel a bit in my eyes. Time for shuttle back to the airport. What do I find? Way too many people for one bus and we are the first stop before the hellscape next door, so we still hilariously need to stop at the Plaza for pick up with an overcrowded bus with people sitting on each others laps and standing up on every single square inch of the bus. I am sure this was not remotely safe to have every square inch of the bus covered with people standing, way too much luggage, and then since my terminal was first stop all by myself I had to excuse myself a thousand times and then just New Yawker push my way to the exit, grab my suitcase, and get tf out of that overcrowded bus. Two stars is generous but fair considering this was a nearly $400 endeavour including tax for a place to sleep between domestic and international flights in and out of one of the worst airports in the world. If you need hilton points this is your only option near LGA; also if you like seafood at least one of the bangin' joints in Jackson Heights knows how to deliver here so that is a reason to stay here by itself. And for pleasant customer service, my friend with the neck tats at the front desk will point you in the right direction for the best munchies in the neighbourhood (but don't listen to her coworker sans neck tats.) read more

My sister and I had a reservation, even called earlier to confirm reservation and reservation was confirmed by them. We get there at 2 AM after eight hours of travel with two cats losing their minds and they turn us away and say all of the rooms are completely filled and we have to find somewhere else. Which is like OK that's super annoying but just give us our money back because you promised a room that you don't have and we'll call a nearby hotel. But no, we are not gifted a refund and are told to "take it up with Expedia", (we are stranded with nowhere to go in NYC and don't want to take a 3 hour phone call and wait on hold to maybe get a refund after hours of deliberating and transferring when it's the hotel's fault). All the hotels in the area are fully booked up (because it's by an airport in a rainstorm and it's 2am). I do not want this review to lead to any actions that hurt peoples lives. All I want was a refund for getting stranded after paying $300 (confirmed charge on card) to a hotel that told us SORRY NO ROOMS. If you are the business that took our money and promised a room that was not available or ANY OTHER substitute rooms at all when we get there, then I expect a full refund to help PAY FOR A NEW ROOM instead of "not our fault take it up with this massive online business that will make it a hard process". Just give us a refund and have some sympathy. read more

First I must say this is in Queens and an older hotel near the airport. The staff has done a nice job of keeping it up to Hilton standards and it is conveniently close to LGA. When we arrived after sitting in traffic for what seemed forever it took us two hours to drive 11 miles with a $15 charge to cross the George Washington Bridge we were greeted by Anthony. Immediately he made us forget our stress by his kindness professionalism and great sense of humor. He recommended a place for us to go eat which was great. the hotel I will say was very clean. The free breakfast was good. the waffle part was great the eggs well I'm not sure if they were real or not. Overall this was a great stay. The room is exceptionally clean The air-conditioner was set on 66 before ever walked in the room which meant they knew I was coming. read more

After reading the two most recent reviews, I'm just annoyed at the bad reputation this hotel is getting. The Hampton is my FOREVER hotel as long as the staff there (Gene, Kenneth, Harry, Mark, Genarys, Edgar, Maria, Pilar, Benji, Bemal just to name a few) keep taking care of the guests the way they do. Seriously, in the middle of a pandemic, traveling alone, this was the BEST and SAFEST place for me. Anything I needed to feel more at home, they provided for me. They fixed exits and messes as soon as I notified them, told me where good food was, who to avoid, and let me use the facilities like I lived there. Truly my home away from home and my family. They take amazing care of the hotel, it's the guests who mistreat the rooms and break things. I watched this first hand - they work between as many roles and shifts as they can, covering for each other. Especially when everyone is furloughed, it was so nice to know they were there to have my back in between working as a team to satisfy whiny rude guests. Beds were clean, I had a fridge sent to my room, all of the doors were secure, everything was working and well taken care of, and they put me close to the exits for my peace of mind. Plus, hands down, the best coffee in town. Front desk gets cranky because they don't get long enough breaks or because guests are cranky. Try following corporate orders from a computer drone with a smile on your face and drunk people are screaming at you. I double dog dare you to be as kind as this group. Miss them and will always stay there when traveling or even when I just need a break. They even let me come back and have coffee some mornings... I mean, they yell at me about not wanting trouble that day, but just give me the coffee and no one gets a bad Yelp review, man! read more

This was my first time staying at a Hilton hotel in NYC. I booked online and then checked in. The King style room I booked was not available when I arrived at check-in! I was really tired, so just took the double Queen style room. I wasn't about to fuss, it was raining outside and I had a long day. Woke up early in the morning to make sure I didn't miss breakfast. I had no hot water in the shower, the water was ice cold, even after I ran it for a few minutes. I spoke to the front desk and they suggested changing my room to another floor, but apparently the issue is similar on other floors!!! I proceeded to breakfast , it was sparse to say the least, no hot food only cold cereal and a few fruit items. Pretty disappointed and I cant honestly say I can recommend this hotel to others, when there are quite a few basic things missing in terms of customer service. I recently stayed here one night on the day I arrived in New York. Arriving at the Laguardia airport late in the evening, this place provided a bed and roof over me for my short stay here. I called the hotel after I landed to check on the hotel free shuttle bus. They told me to go the the departure level to wait for the bus. 20 mins later, I saw the hotel bus drive nearby but never came to the area I was waiting. I called back the hotel to check, they picked up another customer and left..... They advised me to take a taxi and they will reimburse. Unfortunately taxi was 30 mins wait. Staff at taxi stand recommended that I walk, she gave me a direction to the hotel. It wasn't too bad, I think it was less than 15 mins walk. Good thing weather was nice that night and I was wearing my running shoes. Always travel light helps situation like this. Hotel apologized and gave me a voucher to use at a restaurant in the hotel next door to them. Staff was very apologetic and friendly. Actually walk wasn't too bad at all. I needed that exercise after sitting on the plane or at the airport all day. Room was decent, for some reasons the noise from AC bothered me at night while normally I sleep through any noise. Internet was fast enough, connected via VPN, stayed connected the whole time, I was able to get some work done. It wasn't too bad for my 7 hours stay. This hotel was rated as #1 in the area at another review site where I leave most of my hotel reviews. If this was #1 in the area, perhaps I should arrive at another airport next time I come to New York area, or arrange a car service to get to where I need to go. Started off with my calling for their complimentary shuttle to pick me up at the airport. 20 minutes later I call them back asking where the driver is? Turns out Delta has two terminals since they also run Delta Shuttle. I sure wish I had known that and they had asked that question before I got frostbite on my face standing outside waiting for the shuttle that they said was just down the street. All well, a misunderstanding. I arrive and tell them that i'll miss breakfast because I'm leaving before it starts, and want a to-go breakfast prepared for me. All I get is a bunch of umms and ohhhs and we're not sure. Seriously? A to-go bag is a piece of fruit, a pastry, and a bagel. They could have one of the busboys go into the kitchen and throw those things in a bag for me now. Total weak sauce behind the front desk. Extremely mediocre. Rooms are tired and heated with under window AC units which are controlled by a switch on the wall. I cranked mine up a little since it's really cold this time of year, and the unit protested by spewing air that smelled like a hairdryer overheating hair. Needless to say, that's not my favorite smell, so now I'm under the covers wishing that I had stayed at the Sheraton. The internet is via Ethernet cable, not wifi. It's fast, but there will be no computing from under warm covers so I've had to write this review disconnected from the internet, and will reconnect momentarily to submit Lastly, the neighborhood is residential, so there is nothing to eat or drink within walking distance. In July 2023 my parents suffered a fire in their home. Late at night, they were brought to the hotel with nothing but the clothes on their back. They remained until the end of October. I cannot say enough about everything at this hotel. The staff, especially Sandra, and Jorge went ABOVE AND BEYOND to care for my parents. They helped them with EVERYTHING and never with any resentment or grudge. The food was good, the breakfast area always clean. They had coffee throughout the day and apples. They gave us free water. The room was clean. The parking was ample. My parents were blessed and i will forever be grateful for the way they were taken care of by the staff of this very well-run hotel. Thank you!!! read more

The room was clean and the staff is friendly. I was able to fill up on free breakfast the 2 mornings I stayed. Be aware that food can be a challenge in the evening because nothing is in walking distance. But, many places deliver. Grubhub and bur eats will be your friend! I stayed at this hotel to host a family reunion. This hotel does not have a ballroom. They use the Laguardia Plaza Hotel. I booked a banquet for Saturday using their facilities. The TV doesn't work in any of the rooms. The signal is lost about every 30 seconds. The fitness center has one machine that works. 0/3 treadmills work, 0/2 elliptical machines work, and 1/2 exercise bikes. The "working" bike only had one of four displays working. This is the worst Hampton Inn we've ever stayed in. However, Hilton's standards are high. The beds were very comfortable and the room quiet. The two most important attributes. The hotel itself is very worn including the rooms. Furniture, wallpaper, paint; all need to be refreshed. The breakfast was not up to Hampton standards. It was gross; more like a Super 8. I guess they keep the branding due to location. The first desk clerk was awful. He first told us Priceline booked us into a smoking room. I had a confirmed non smoking room on my app. The two desk clerk working check out we're very nice and stored our luggage for the day. If you need to be near LGA, stay at this hotel. Bad from the start. Advertised free parking for guests however they do not mention that it is only for their extremely small lot which was full. I had to use their shared parking garage which cost $30 a day. The room was completely soaked and humid as the air conditioner is centrally controlled at 74 degrees. Marijuana smoke filled the hallways as guests do not adhere to the no smoking policy. Our room faced a parking lot which has floodlights on at night. The curtains were inadequate to block out the extremely bright light. The staff is rude and unknowledgeable. I had payed for the parking garage yet never received a ticket to exit. When I asked the front desk, she seemed bothered and was short with me. When trying to exit the parking lot, the ticket she gave me did not work. I walked back to the front desk and explained my issue. Again, she was rude and short with me and claimed that I just need to press the intercom on the box an tell the person that I was a guest and that I paid already. Nope, the lady on the other side of the intercom had no idea what I was talking about. Finally a security guard came by and checked my hotel receipt and I was able to exit the parking lot. As a Hilton Honors member, I am extremely disappointed in this hotel and staff. read more

I presume this place remains in business based solely due to its proximate location to Laguardia Airport. We arrived on a Saturday evening in advance of a flight early the next morning. As we finished checking in, I noticed a coffee dispenser situated near the front desk. Just as an employee was loading the coffee dispenser onto a kitchen cart, I asked if he was taking the coffee away. He replied, in a rather rude tone, that he'd be bringing fresh coffee out "in a few minutes", with a rather unfriendly emphasis to "in a few minutes". Ok; fine. I never inquired as to when or how long it'd take for the fresh coffee to come out, so I'm unsure what the defensive tone was all about. Next up: parking. There is 3 story parking garage located in behind the hotel premises. Apparently this parking garage is a shared facility with an adjacent hotel. It's a fairly large 3 story garage. It's incredibly expensive to park there. We checked in to drop off our bags, and then after an hour or so of check-in, exited the garage to get dinner. Boom: $10 fee for about an hour. When we got back from dinner, we drove to the very top floor, and we resorted to parking the vehicle in a an unmarked spot, because every. single. space. in the garage was occupied. Upon leaving the next morning, we found someone else parked immediately in front of our vehicle, also in an unmarked space (picture attached). It required a 10 point turn maneuver and 3-5 minutes effort to exit the top floor. For my unmarked parking space, and effort to extract the car without hitting anyone else, I was rewarded with a $55 overnight parking fee, again, for a space that actually isn't even marked. Next up: hot water for a shower. Short story: THERE IS NONE. Upon waking up for our early Sunday flight, I let the shower faucet run for 10 minutes. Not a drop of even warm water came out of the shower head. UN. ACCEPTABLE. for what you people charge for a night's stay. As I peruse the other reviews here, this seems to be a common thread of skimping on the hot water in the bathroom. Next up: climate control. The air condition had clearly been blasting for some time prior to us occupying our room Saturday afternoon. The temperature readout said appx 64 degrees. I immediately attempted to adjust the thermostat to around 70 degrees. The thermostat failed to really register the change; the temperature never rose about 67 degrees, and by the next morning, had sunk back down to 65 degrees. From a cost saving/ecology standpoint: **does it make any sense to skimp on hot water, but then go full Antartica on the A/C??**. The amount of electricity that was consumed over our 12 hour stay for A/C, despite us trying to disable it or raise the thermostat, must've been OBSCENE. Final note on our checkout/exit the following morning. We'd been planning to mention our lenghty list of concerns/issues to the front desk as we walked out to our car, but we were completely ignored as we exited the elevator into the lobby and started approaching the front door. Perhaps the staff are aware of the abjectly lousy facility and are fatigued with being dressed down for such a costly but atrocious level of service. I bit my tongue and thought better of confronting the staff, and for all they knew, I didn't exist anyway. If you have made it to end of this laundry list of complaints, congratulations. I urge you to reconsider against paying good money to "rest and relax" in such a poorly kept and managed property. You'd be better off paying a bit more for higher level of service in say Manhattan, or paying less for a higher level of service in say Westchester County, at the cost of a bit lengthier shuttle ride. read more

Free parking and breakfast in NYC is rare. I stay at Hampton Inns regularly but this property is a gem. Located in a great area for you to explore NYC by public transportation or driving. The rooms are spacious and there are a lot of common areas in case you want to get some work done or sit and chat. The rates were fair and I would recommend this property. read more

The room was clean and well-appointed. Appreciative of being able to check in early. That's where it all stops. The desk staff are basic. Not overly friendly or hospitable. The dissemination of information is lacking. I understand changes due to the pandemic. However, information needs to be shared better and clearer. Consistency is key. (See below) - Shuttle to airport/subway station: Website states shuttle available for both. I was told I might be able to be taken to subway station if shuttle driver has time. Different from site that says it is used for these purposes. Morning driver was surprised at my request, he said he hadn't gone to station in months, since COVID hit. He drove me anyway. I showed him where on hotel's website it showed it as an amenity. - Breakfast: I was told over the phone, the night before, no hot breakfast (i was okay with that), only a to-go breakfast, until 10am. Since I often stay at Hamptons, I understood that to mean a paper bag filled with a fruit, water, and muffin or granola bar. I go downstairs for coffee at 9:45am and see that they have a make-your-own to-go box! Being that I was late to the game, I got whatever was left. The box idea is great! However, the information given on breakfast was piss poor. My morning would've gone differently if the I had been given better information. I'm unsure if this HI is a franchise or corporate-owned (I thought HIs were corp). Regardless, staff needs training on better communication and customer service. Their website should provide better up-to-date info and staff trained on what's contained therein. And if the website's info is inaccurate, good customer service dictates to do best to honor whats noted and take care of it later. In this case, passing it off to the driver, who is not even a HI employee!, is a cheap way to shrug off the desk clerk's (or manager) responsibility. If you want a clean, comfortable place, this is fine. But don't expect more beyond that. read more

Very pricey for a short stay. I had little choice, as it was a family emergency and close to the airport. Parking is limited. The hotel and rooms were clean, with two elevators, the rooms are average. The beds were uncomfortable as were the linens and pillows. You need to call the front desk for service. However, if you flag staff in the hallway, they will throw out your garbage. The person who made my bed also charged her Apple Watch and left it behind which I returned to the front desk. They saw nothing wrong with their staff charging their phone. Breakfast is free but for the cost of the rooms, and lack of parking, it should be a better quality. All the food is premade and unhealthy, consisting of egg substitute omelettes, muffins, waffles and sausage. Oatmeal was good and the dark blend coffee was delicious. Front desk staff were professional which I appreciated. I did not see the gym or other amenities. They get a lot of business from flight crew which may account for the costs. read more

I received this booking for the Hampton Inn through a Hotwire purchase. A quick run on how Hotwire works, you select the location and type of hotel based on stars and buy it and you find out what you get afterwards. It's a very reliable service and the savings are usually very significant. With this purchase I received complimentary internet that by other means may have been chargeable. Either way I received complimentary internet by entering my room number and last name when prompted. The hotel has perhaps about 30 parking spots in front of the main entrance. I was told that if I could get a spot there it was free, if not the parking structure attached to the building next door charges 20 dollars. I was lucky to get the last spot available at the time and since I wasn't moving again I was able to park for free. The place had I believe 3 disabled parking spots available out of all the spots out front. The check in was pretty easy. I gave my name and my reservation came up. I got a low room on the second floor and upon getting into the room I noticed it had 2 queens. I should have mentioned it upon first check in that I would have preferred a king instead. I had called down to the front desk and asked if they had a king bed room instead and I was told to come down to the lobby. The exchange was as easy as trading keys and back to the 2nd floor we went only this time with a single king and more space in the room. The room itself was comfortable. We were only there for the evening leaving early in the morning because we had an early flight. The air conditioning was easy to control. I had turned it off because my wife doesn't like it too cold but it didn't get warm in the room again so there was no need to keep it on. That was nice because it's more quiet without it running. The toiletries were Neutrogeena which is a good brand and normally unless it's Bath and Body Works I don't usually help myself to them but this time I did. They're always good for the guest bathroom if they aren't no name. Overall I was happy with the service, the room, the parking situation and the proximity to the airport. Hampton Inn New York - LaGuardia Airport - King bed - Hotels Near Me - Elmhurst, New York

Spent a weekend in NYC, and stayed at this Hampton Inn, only to wish I'd stayed at the Marriott across the street. Being located close to Laguardia was the only plus. The dining options are in the Marriott across Ditmars Blvd., or the Crowne Plaza next door. The front desk informed me they do not call for taxi service, but a car service which charges a flat rate. I just wanted one simple, NYC taxi! The weekend also happened to be the hottest weekend in NYC, and the hotel elevators were out of service most of the weekend, (with no explanation from the front desk) . Never a good thing with a hi-rise hotel, families with kids, people with luggage, etc. The front desk must've felt bad because they did take some guests in the service elevators. Others were left to take the stairs. This was one disappointing Hampton Inn experience, especially since this is a newer property. Next trip, I'm booking at the Marriott. read more

Comfortable and worth the $115 I paid at Hotwire for a one-nighter near The airport (if you see a 3* LGA hotel with breakfast, chances are it is the Hampton Inn). Breakfast is the key here (if you had 4 people in a room, the food would easily be worth $50, or half of the room price). Beds are comfortable and clean. Shuttle every 20 minutes. Neutrogena toiletries a plus, but army-grade toilet paper a minus. The negatives are the fact that smoking floors still exist here (wow!, and eww!), and there is a huge gap under the door that needs blocking up with a rolled up towel if you don't want to be awakened by other guests at 4am. read more

Very nice shuttle driver, helpful, warm and friendly reception. Happy to see herbal/green/black tesa available & coffee (too late for that) Pleasantly surprised by the touches in the room. Single light on (midnight arrival) and a nice sticky note (photo attached) Five star scale based on proximity and ease getting to and from airport for a short night sleep and value of experience to cost..perfect. Hampton Inn New York - LaGuardia Airport - Nice touch on headboard - Hotels Near Me - Elmhurst, New York

This is a review based on my stay at the Hampton Inn La Guardia on July 31st. Although it's next to the freeway and across from the airport, I could not hear any freeway or airport noise when inside my room. The shuttle drivers are friendly and helpful. Free service to/from the airport and train. The is no charge to use the Business Center including computer and printer. (Try finding a hotel in Manhattan with a free Business Center.) The bed was extremely comfortable. I didn't want to get out of bed. The complimentary hot breakfast: make your own waffles, pre-made quesadillas, french toast, sausages, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, and fruit was ok. But it was free so I really can't complain. I would definitely stay here again. I have a more detailed review and photos on my blog. read more
