I am an anxious patient and yet Dr. Austin was calm and patient with me. He was open To answering as many questions as I asked without annoyance. He wasn't in a rush to get to the next patient but to make sure that I was completely satisfied. He is an extremely intelligent dentist who worked precisely, efficiently and is very informed and informative about the newest techniques and equipment. I was very impressed to find that his practice owns a CAD/CAM that can create a porcelain crown while I comfortably waited in the office. I highly recommend Dr. Austin and will feel much more confident and more relaxed the next time I need to have work done. The office staff is friendly and his dental assistant was also extremely informative.

First of all, when you have, an appointment does not bother coming on time because you will be waiting at least 20mns before they take you. If you are a family, they will say they take you all at the same time, but it will never happen, and nobody will apologize for that. Dr Afolabi on one of my appointments told me that she told me to come back for a filing. BIG LIE as she never did tell me that, she made me book an appointment that day. On the day my kids were having their cleaning done, they told me that my 2 kids were due for a sealant. When they called me to confirm the appointments, they said all 3 were now due for a sealant. On the day they were setting up the appointment I asked for the copayment amount, they said $0. On the day of the appointment before the procedure I asked again, they said $0. A week after the appointment, they sent me a bill of $132 for each kid. It "happened" that I had an appointment myself for my second filling (for which I I was supposed to pay $42) 2 days after i received the kids bill. I called the office to inquire about the bill and the secretary told me she doesn't know what happened. They were going to talked to me about it on the day of my appointment. I came for my appointment and to my surprise they said by balance is now $179 that includes the balance for my kids and myself. So now what was supposed to be $132 *2+$42 is now just $179. I said OK, you guys lied to me but today i will only pay for myself and that I pay for the kids later. They said nope. They won't see me until I pay for the kids. And if I decide not to do my filling that day, they will add a $50 cancellation fee on my account even though I was there, ready to do my filling and to pay for what was due for myself. These people are just there for their pockets. They do not care about their patients. BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!! At addition to that Dr Afolabi will take her sweet time talking to other patients while you are lying there waiting with more than 30mns after your scheduled time. DO NOT TRUST their work ethic, DO NOT TRUST their dental knowledge. I never have any dental issues until she said I needed a filling. Now that tooth is sensitive to any water temperature.

The hygienist Lynn used Ultrasound which meant less digging and scraping. She also put mitts on my hands which provided a skin treatment for my hands while she cleaned my teeth - unreal! I always had high regard for the care that I received there, until last year. When I returned for a routine dental cleaning I found the office to be not at all like it had once been. There was only one familiar face and I was told that my dentist, along with a number of loyal employees, from the reception desk to the hygienists to the doctors, mine in particular, were no longer with the practice. My hygienist did her usual excellent job. I scheduled my next visit and simply felt sad that things had changed so much. The reason that I am writing a review is that today I received a text message telling me that my cleaning appointment had been cancelled because the hygienist had left the practice. I was not offered an appointment with another hygienist. I am left feeling that I was simply cast away. One of the things that I really liked about Perico (aside from the great care that I received) was that there were many hygienists there. I valued using them all for all of their different knowledge. I always tried to have a different hygienist each time. (*) To be notified that my appointment was cancelled (less than a month before my appointment) because the last of the group of hygienists had left the practice (to repeat, there always were many and I loved them all) and not be offered an alternate appointment is unconscionably unprofessional. I mourn the loss of what Perico was and stood for. God save my teeth now!

I…read morestarted with a cleaning and the hygienist, Tracy, noted that my implant was showing a bit of movement. I had noticed that my jaw was a bit achy but did not attribute it to a loose implant. So, I scheduled a visit with Dr. Michael Faynzilberg and he fixed the problem which was a loose screw in the implant that held the crown to the base of the implant. Dr. Michael was very knowledgeable, confident and knew exactly what needed to be done. I was greatly relieved at the outcome. He is the best dentist that I have ever had and I am 77 years old and have had many dentists over the years. The staff is friendly and nice. So glad I chose this dental practice.
