Dr. Mo and his staff are fantastic. I switched to this practice 10 years ago. The quality of his work and what they have to offer is excellent. I got braces on my bottom teeth and two other family members also got braces. Very affordable and our teeth look amazing. Dr. Mo needs to retire and Not let patients needing care trust his charm. He did wrong by both Myself and Mother. He filed a Veneer bicuspid flat which then broke one month later, only to charge me $800.00 to replace! He filled a front tooth for my Mother with what looked like wall paste for $135.00. In both cases DID NOT accept responsibilty for damage done! Terribly disappointed. read more

Im surprised I havent written a review sooner... and this review is a little all over the place (Heads Up) I have been going to Dr Mo since I was 15 as they were open on the weekends and I had a job at that time that didnt give me time off for personal appts... So fast forward 20 years and I have children, Naturally I just started taking my kids there too... I have been taking my older son there for about 4 years (Hes 5 now) and the first few years were great, Dr Mo is super personable, hes fun, He sings... Whats not to love... He would be nice with my son & help him through the fear of the dentist so I was happy... Until my son injured his teeth in a fall and we went to the dentist, Gave me some Abx in the event he developed an infection... Then months passed nothing, and my son was complaining of pain so we went back... Dr Mo said he had a cavity so we filled it & still my son would complain of pain, so we went back & he told me there was an infection, so More ABX... Weeks passed, More pain - took him back a 3rd time & he told me the Cavity he had filled had essentially healed (the Filling) OVER the skin, so every time my son chewed, he was biting his nerve... He started to pick and the filling fell out... So He says, No need to refill (SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST SIGN RIGHT THERE) that the pain was probably from the nerve & not the cavity - to which I didnt realize " Hello, he didnt have the filling the first time we came in, He had the CAVITY" But whatever... We leave and then weeks later again, MORE PAIN.. I go back & he tells me "THERE IS NOTHING THERE" Hes probably just complaining... They take Xrays, NOTHING... Weeks later same thing I go back in for now a 6TH time for the SAME TOOTH to which he again says NOTHING... At this point, I love Dr Mo (at least up until now) but clearly there is something... I took my son to a CHILDRENS dental center (and maybe that was my mistake all along, that adult Dentists just dont know the difference between kids things & adult things)... So we are at the Children s Dental Place & GUESS WHAT... My 5 year old needs a FULL ROOT CANAL and Crown - because his mouth (more than just the ONE tooth now), is rotted out in that area - Im told its from an UNTREATED INFECTION... So today my poor kid who already was a mess from all these dental appts is sitting next to me, Mouth Swollen and borderline breakdown from just having a complete Root Canal & bridge implant AT FIVE!!!! Thanks Dr Mo... Im soo mad because I really did like you... But this is just inexcusable!!! I wish I had the energy & money to contact someone to fight you about this... Ill just chalk this up to Bad decisions & from now on I go to a dentist that ISNT IN THE MALL!!! Has been a patient since pre-teen and now an adult. They are usually rough on every cleaning appointment. Usually, the doctor has his phone ringing on his front shirt pocket while cleaning my teeth. They do the basic greeting and doesn't really carry any intention of listening to my concerns (Usually respond that I need to brush better without further explanation; I only had one demonstration (out of all my visits) from an assistant who seem to really care). Noticed how unprofessional the staff were when I request all my dental records since I'm changing my dentist due to changed circumstances. Took a month to retrieve them along being advised repeatedly that I don't have to; regardless they are my dental records and I requested them. I had to call them weekly with new information that could've been discussed in one call session. Only one of my x-rays were sent via email (and they were not a full x-ray record); advise later on that the rest had to be mailed (but didn't review what address they were going to send to confirm). If I didn't call before my new dentist appointment, everything I have planned will be significantly delayed along with increase teeth and gum health issues. read more

I started going to "the dentist in the Meadow Glen Mall" (yes, I said mall) when and because I was a graduate student 14 years ago. I loved Dr. Mo (Mahammad Mobasherat) so much that I've continued to go ever since and wouldn't even think of going to a dentist in fancier digs. I have always taken my teeth for granted because they're very healthy, so sometimes I don't go to the dentist as often as I should. Dr. Mo never scolds or judges, though. Always ready with a smile or a "Hi, (insert term of endearment here)," he gently checks and cleans your teeth, often while singing along to the radio. The cleanings are some of the least painful I've had, too, and he has a very calm and calming way about him. The prices are reasonable, and I can tell they do a lot of work with people who don't seem to have a lot of money, which I think is noble. You can't tell this, though, by the way anyone is treated. The staff is friendly and warm and so are the other dentists. One thing I would not recommend this place for is cosmetic dentistry; it's not their thing. Certainly if you need something basic or temporary, then get it (it will be quite reasonably priced), but for serious work on your smile, see my review for another dentist. read more

I have always had a fear of dentists, I saw Dr. Mo (who sings while he works on you) , which isnt as bad as you might think. He is occasionlly on key. When Dr Mo decided my tooth and i had to part ways and i needed a root canal, which meant I had to see a specialist, I went into a cold sweat. There is no way the specialist (Endodontist) is going to be as fabulous as Dr. Mo,. I was wrong! HE WAS ! He cheered me on during the procedure and was gentle as can be. I love this place. read more

I wish I could break this review into two parts: one for the front desk/reception and one for the dental services. The front desk staff and bookkeepers at the front are horrendous! I literally almost walked out after 1)not being greeted by 3 women who knew I came in but refused to acknowledge me and 2)after their reluctant, unsmiling greeting which consisted of "Do you have an appointment?", I was given paperwork on a grimy clipboard (which made me wonder about the cleanliness of the dental area) and 3)two of them loudly announcing they were going out on smoke break and 4)upon exiting after my appointment, they were all gathered around a huge aluminum foil baking dish filled with pasta and arguing about who got more than someone else. UGH...disgusting first - and last - impressions. Less than 1 star to the front of the house staff. In complete and utter contrast, 5 stars to the hygienist, Priscilla! She was amazingly gentle and quick but thorough. When she suspected a surface cavity, she called in one of the dentists who agreed to fill it on the spot rather than have me return again. They were both very professional and friendly and the whole dental area was very clean and modern. If I can get over the front desk staff, this will be where I'll return for my 6-month check-up. read more

Dr. Mo doesn't sing, he hums. It is a shock to have a dentist in the Meadow Glen Mall, but you'll just have to go with the 0% chance that you will see Angelina Jolie shopping while you get your teeth cleaned. My medical plan is great except for the choice of dentists, so I looked long and hard to find an acceptable one. Dr. Mo was very nice, professional and fast. He did not push work at all. Just as good if not better than dentists in fancier zip codes. As far as the office staff goes, you have to be from the Somerville-Everett-Medford triangle to appreciate this kind of gal. Professional yet brusque, no fooling around. They are what they are - fine with me. read more

I am beyond terrified of the dentist! Spent all week long dreading the filling i needed to get, got into the office at 3:30 and was in my car heading home at 3:42. Found out he also fixed my chipped molar at the same time. He walked me through every single step of the procedure as well. Easiest, most pleasant experience Ive ever had at a dentists office. Will absolutely never go anywhere else after today! Would definitely recommend to anyone with children or if you're just a big baby like me! read more

I wish I could remember the name of the dentist at Omnidentix, but alas it is escaping me. However I will be going back soon and will update because this review is meant for him. The dentists office is in the mall as you surely know by now my fine reader. that seems a little odd to me. But perhaps it's completely normal and I'm the weirdo because I have never been to the "mall dentist". -----nice..new catch phrase (all rights reserved). Ok back on track. I don't know if it was just my lucky day but at the front desk there was like 5 receptionists. this place is small so it's was a bit odd, but in a way that would turn any frown upside down. Reception was personable and had that "local Boston feel". Meaning these fine ladies definitely order a "regulah" coffee if you know what I mean. Now on to Dentist X. Now I may be slightly weird looking...I don't know. Hey..you..reader. your probably a little weird looking too so don't get all cocky. I get on up in the chair of horrors, clench the arm rest and get ready for 20-30 minutes of torture. I explain to Dentist X that I have TMJ, sensitive teeth, haven't been to the dentist in 4 years. I tell him I am his worst NiGHTMaRe. I do not laugh ghoulishly however. After listening to me he sits down and says "what kind of person are you? how do you see yourself? I'm flabbergasted. He then follows with "I noticed your Harley boots and was curious. I hope I am not being too un PC". Now for more private people this may be seen as intrusive. I however found it amazing that someone would take the time to ask. Plus he wasn't doing the "ask-a-mundane-question-you-don't-really-care-to-know-the-answer-to-but-feel-obliged.........thing". He was sincere. I told him I feel like I am a combination of Sinatra, johnny depp, and perhaps a little james dean for the loner in me. I mentioned I have a fascination with the 1920's and am androgynous. After that we became best friends discussing music and dentistry as he tortured me for 30 minutes. It hurt..not in the "ohh babee it hurts sooooo good". More of the "oh good my F'n gums". Dentist X would stop every once in awhile and apply numbing cream and ask me if I was ok. To finish this long winded review. I learned many things while visiting Dentist X. He taught me how to brush my teeth!..haha I have a tendency to brush too hard. I have taken his advice and it's working. He is personable, knowledgeable, talkative in a non annoying way and knows his shizzz with regards to teethies. Do go here, your teeth and brain will thank you. ps. he also wasn't nasally. That was a bonus. Ever get a practitioner, typically dentists and as they are all up in your grill they breath all over you and are nasally? it's just not right. You can't beat the location. Several folks I know and respect recommended him. Dr. Mo himself is adorable; he actually sings as he works on your teeth. GREAT with kids. But then someone mentioned: "They do upsell, though." I now have weird enamel on my teeth that I don't think is doing anything for me. Plus, they never, ever remind you about your 6-month check-up, but then they do call you every day for 4 days to make sure you don't forget the actual appointment. It's a mixed bag. I'd switch but I'm haunted by the $25-to-switch-providers surcharge. One final, kind word, I do like the front desk ladies, they are very nice. read more

Horrible, Simply Horrible. Completely disorganized front desk staff with a manager that acts and looks like she just came out of a low budget remake of the Soppranos. Long waits "in the chair" as they "pack-em-in/pack-em-out" - yeah, it's that kind of atmosphere. Dr. acted like I had been an earlier patient when I had never been there before. Did I mention that it's located in the Meadow Glenn Mall beside a handbag-luggage knock off shop? Refered me to some third-world oral surgeon in Stoneham whose receptionist seemed indignant when I informed her that I didn't want to be "knocked out" in order to have 4 teeth removed in a single sitting (non wisdom). do not go to ths dentist i had two crown's put in by another dentist i was experiencing a great deal of pain so i made an appointment with this practice and saw dr. jacobson she was the endodontist she took an ex-ray and told me that i needed two root cancal's and told me i had an infection and prescribed anitibotic's after that i got a 3rd opinion from really nice endodontist and she told me that i did not need a root cancal nor i did not need antibotics also i was in and out of the hospital because the antibotic made me soooo ill i would not send a dog here read more

People are nice enough but unnecessary x-rays were definitely pushed on me. That sketches me out and makes me not trust other things they recommend since I think they're just trying to get money from me. I was there for a cleaning and some machine's motor didn't work one of the two times I was there and also my scheduled dentist was late. Feels a little disorganized to me. read more

I have read some of these reviews. Now I want to write mine. Let me first start by saying I have been going to Dr. Mo for over 20 yrs. My daughter is now 24 and has not one cavity in her mouth due to his care. Dr Mo is one of the most compassionate and caring Dr I have ever met. He truly cares about his patients. He is highly recommended by me. Also, as for the girls at the front desk or should I say women who run this office in a timely and organized fashion. Not only have some of them been there from the start of this practice but they are as equally kind and concerned about each person and what it is they need done. Many times I have been squeezed in and seen without an appt due to an emergency tooth ache etc. Some one stated that they would be seen out front smoking or eating behind the desk. I say, so what. If they choose to smoke on their break thats their choice but that sure has nothing to do with their wonderful personalities and their professionalism at their Job, I have grown to love them all and could never see myself going anywhere else If you need to see a surgical specialist, Dr Mo will send you. I had a root canal done there and it was painless and successful. This place is basically one big family and to know them , is to love them. Most Dr I have ever met are actually a bit on the unkind side and always treat me like a number. This is the only place I have ever gone where I know they care about me, about my teeth and my health of my teeth. You will never meet a better or kinder crew. This is the truth and an honest review by me. I was disappointed to read about the experience Paul T from Charlestown had during his visit to OmniDentix. I recently visited the office for the first time. I found the front desk staff to be extremely helpful and kind. They were very patient and willing to answer all my questions. Having had bad experienes in the past I was very nervous about seeing a dentist again but my toothache gave me no choice. Dr. Mo quickly put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable. I can see why he has so many patients. Sadly the tooth had to be extracted and I was referred to an Oral Surgeon. The oral surgeon he referred me to was equally as kind. The tooth was taken care of and I am actually looking forward to visiting Omni again to continue restoring my mouth. I would highly recommend Omni Dentix to all my friends. read more
