Lindgren falsely claimed I cursed his staff, which is completely untrue. If I had, I would ask him to specify exactly what was said and to whom. I urge him to do the right thing. Dr. Gheewalla fixed my son's permanent bottom retainer, after my son had bent it, flossing, such that it was now irritating his tongue. As well, Dr. Gheewalla came through, again, when my son needed a consult with a periodontist. Dr. G. not only supplied us with names of excellent area periodontists but also conferred with both of them to pave the path of our son's obtaining an immediate appt., sooner than later. Turned out to be a very minor issue (kale stuck under my son's gum) but still needed a professional to extricate it without damaging the gum. Fact: excellent practitioners refer to other excellent practitioners. I know other students in my son's college community who have been seen by Dr. Gheewalla, and both parent and student report being extremely pleased with both Dr. G's expertise and clinical manner. Dr. G is a product of Tufts Dental school, another reason he is a superlative orthodontist. Highly, highly recommend.

I searched for the…read moreperfect orthodontist for almost 5 years and I'm beyond happy that I found Dr. Melita right when I was about to give up. The reason for my hesitation was the multiple crowns (one being very visible) in my mouth along with the crowding issue I had. I am opposed to pulling healthy teeth out to make space without first trying to make it work with the existing space. Not even once did Dr. Melita try to change my mind about this nor even later during the treatment did she bring this up ever. She respected it wholeheartedly that I could feel it every time we would talk about next steps in making space to move the teeth around. Another reason why she is be the best Orthodontist to me is is that she worked with my crown so well that I never thought it would look this good to be honest. During the treatment, she allowed for me to go to my dentist to get a temporary crown to reflect the actual position of my teeth to make sure she gets them to the actual positions they need to be as close as possible. Not even once during the treatment have I felt rushed. It felt as if Dr. Melita was giving me the care that she would actually give to her own self. I don't know how I can actually convince anyone via words without knowing me to go and at least have a chat with Dr. Melita but I can tell you this much; I became a bride with braces as I was THAT happy and comfortable with them. I had the option to remove them for the wedding but didn't even bother. And it was Dr. Melita who offered to take them off so I could have my pictures without braces. I can't imagine a single orthodontist ever offering that. Little things matter along with the major PART of getting beautiful results. I took my braces off almost 3 months ago and still waiting to get my permanent crown put on. During this process I'm still in touch with Dr. Melita's office frequently and even after finishing the treatment you must see how much they still care for you to make sure you get on the schedule as soon as possible. I never laughed or smiled as genuinely as I do now and I can't thank enough to Dr. Melita and everyone in her office for making it happen. You make all the waiting worthwhile.

Then they brought my kid back to "only take xrays" and ended up talking to them about all kinds of treatments that they wanted to do. Cosmetic braces, tooth pulls, functional braces, palate expander, headgear. We finally got brought in and the kid was terrified at everything that was thrown at them. The doctor and an assistant crowded in the room, telling us all of the things that MUST be done and NEED to be completed immediately! Snapped at us when we questioned the timeline. Then she SHOWED US ANOTHER PATIENT'S CHART AND XRAYS!!! The HIPAA violations at this place alone should be able to put it out of business. I couldn't go to my orthodontist because he is based in California, so I called around to multiple orthodontic offices in Somerville and Cambridge area. Cambridge Orthodontics was able to get me an appointment within 5 days of my call, compared to other places that offered appointment slots a month out from when I called. I appreciate that they understood the urgency of my situation and tried to get me in at the earliest time possible. The visit itself was nothing short of a pleasant experience! From the staff members who aided with different parts of my procedure to Dr. Samadani's consultation, everyone thoroughly explained to me what they were doing every step of the way. Our kids are always put at ease and really enjoy going to the dentist (the prize at the end of the visit definitely doesn't hurt)! The front desk staff is also really helpful, specifically Danijela who knows a ton about insurance and how that works. A couple of my sons teeth hadn't fully grown in, and Dr. Deepti was so good in proposing how to treat those pieces of his mouth and do his procedure with the utmost care. Most recently we also started orthodontic care with Dr. G. It's really nice to have both our pediatric dentists and orthodontists in one place. Dr. G put an expander in for our daughter and all has been smooth, as far as that goes. Dr. G said the office does both wires and brackets and invisalign for kids - I was SO happy to hear this. Hopefully my kids will continue to love the dentist -- so far so good!
