Livin' in a place like Hillsborough is nice. But with high water and sewer rates and parcel taxes, well, it is expensive. So when I got the chance to 1) do the right thing and 2) draw more attention to me... I took it.... I got an electric car! But it takes 21 hours to re-charge with an extension cord! So I opted for a high-speed EV Charger (240 v, 32 Amp). Now 4 hours and she's full of pep again! Look, I go with the best. And the best in EV Charging installation is Rogers Electric. They've done hundreds of installs in the Bay Area... and couldn't be nicer. Aaron came out and saw my situation- main box was at other end of the house, had to run romex entire length of house in crawl space, had pop up outside then re-enter garage and had to cross garage to where we needed the charger. Wow. But the bid was solid, the work done quickly and the Town Inspector (always get a Permit!) said "good job!" I'm zippin' around town now in my Fiat 500e as quietly as a mouse but I'm still hearing "you're fired!" from my fans. Well, they got it wrong.... I may be unsure about that birth certificate but I'm absolutely sure that you can't Trump Rogers Electric. Give them a call and live large Baby! Aaron did a fantastic job on all our home electrical needs. He is friendly, professional, hard-working, responsive via phone/txt/email, organized, detail-oriented, accountable, and fairly priced for his time. He came recommended to us through our real estate agent and did some major work on our home over the course of 3 weeks (installed 200amp underground service with new 3" conduit from the street, new 200amp main panel, relocation of a 125amp subpanel). My husband had forgotten that our new dryer was electric and told Aaron to use the circuit marked dryer. Aaron is just amazing. He was recommended by a friend who had extensive electrical work done on their house. I have used him twice. The first time was to fix a three-way switch that I had installed improperly. He had his guy come over the same day. He fixed it in 5 minutes without making a single judgmental remark about homeowners trying to do their own electrical work. And then he wouldn't take payment so I had to send a check later! Most recently, I needed a plug moved, and he came over later the same night just because he happened to be driving through and gave an honest evaluation of what could and could not be done. The project was more complicated than I thought because a lot of other wires were feeding into the electrical box so it could not be easily moved. He did not try to push the more expensive solution and came up with a cheap, creative alternative as well. After I thought about it for a week, I decided to keep the plug where it was, but just remove the plug and put a blank face plate over it (as he suggested). I told him no rush, but he came over 2 days later between appointments and took out the plugs in about 5 minutes. And again he wouldn't take payment! Apparently, the most difficult part about working with Aaron is getting him to take money. :-) If you do manage to pay him, his rate is very reasonable. I feel lucky to have such an honest, amazing and skilled electrician close by. You won't regret hiring him! read more

Aaron and his team did a fantastic job on the following: installation of a new electical panel; new wiring for extra lights and power outlets; GFCI outlets in kitchen and bath; installed bath exhaust fan; installed LED can lights throughout the condo; under kitchen cabinet lights; new thermostat for heaters; smoke/carbon monoxide detectors; add an extra coaxial cable outlet; new dimmer switches, power outlet sockets and face plates. They also did small things without charge like add the power cables to the cooking range and garbage disposal. We found Aaron very easy to communicate with. He was very patient with working out solutions for our requests and explaining things to us. The condo is old so there were issues that came up and Aaron did not hesitate to come back and rectify. The only reason I did not go with Rogers is that my contractor preferred to work with their own electrician who was on their own team -- and since my contractor was "cleaning up" after a previous problematic contractor, I did not want to rock the boat in their preference. But here is the cool part. When I was upset and needed some clarification about electrical work being done in my home by others, I immediately thought of Aaron -- even though he was not doing my job.
