A friend recommended I check out Rogers Flea Market so I figured I would give it a try. Located about 1/2 hour south of Youngstown in Rogers, Ohio the flea market is only open on Fridays. I managed to arrive at about 8am, 1/2 hour after the opening. There is extensive parking lots all around the market, I managed to find a spot up front just inside the fence. The day was a bit hazy from Canadian wildfire smoke so it seemed like quite a few vendors decided not to show up, many customers also seemed to have decided to have passed on attending. The flea market is huge, there are lots of open air vendor spots, a couple of covered pavilions and quite a few enclosed buildings. At first I was quite disappointed with the product selection since most of the vendors who set up near the front of the market are selling cheap new products the kinds of things you can find anywhere. I was much more interested when I found the back rows where there were more vintage items and antiques along with a wide variety of almost anything you could want. I check out all of the vendors who were there that day. I did find some items that interested me, mainly wood carvings and related items. Prices were OK, not sensational, but I also didn't find anything that I wanted enough to negotiate to see if I could get a lower price. I did end up buying a cinnamon roll from the Amish bakery in one of the buildings, I also bought some candy and trail mix from the discount candy store in the same building. Overall Rogers Flea Market was not bad, but not worth the drive from Cleveland. Some of that was probably due to it being an off day for vendors and part of it was that I have so much stuff I am mostly looking for indigenous wood masks and I just didn't find any on this trip. I did see plenty of people who had found plenty of things to buy, so your experience could vary. My recommendation would be worth a stop if you are in the area on a Friday, but not really worth a special trip. read more

I've been trying to get out to Rogers for the longest time, but the fact that they're only open until 4pm on Fridays makes it difficult. I finally got out there this week and was pleasantly surprised with the size of the place. They have several enclosed buildings, pavilions, and rows and rows of outdoor vendors too. They have people selling everything from produce and coffee to gem stones and used tricycles. Each person that we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. We purchased several pieces of fresh, local produce outside and a few random items inside. I thought the prices for the produce were fair and most of the baked goods were priced within the $2-$5 range. The only thing that was disappointing was that by 2-2:30pm the vendors were starting to pack up. You need to be there pretty early in the morning to see most things before people start to close up shop. read more

We love a good flea market and love going to Rogers. There are many people selling a variety of things. We love the vendors who are always ther including the meat/deli section, pickles, and the Amish donut stand that is just amazing. You'll spend hours walking around! read more

Lots of vendors but we found the products to be generally shabby and produce stands prices were not better than we can buy locally here north of Pittsburgh. You can probably find what you are looking for here but you will search through tons of buildings and tables. Not worth the drive in my opinion but if you happen to be driving by when they are open check it out. read more

It was an easy drive with beautiful views of autumn leaves. Free admission & parking Hundreds of vendors with thousands of items were on display. The crushed stone paths were flat without potholes. Electric scooters were available to rent WITH TOW HOOKS for a second person to ride along. Some of the vendors took great pride in displaying their items to their advantage, others had moldy/musty boxes that customers had to dig through. The farmers selling vegetables were making a killing. In Pittsburgh, a tiny head of cauliflower is almost $4. For $2.50, we bought a head three times larger than available in Pittsburgh. We went to another aisle and the Amish farmers had bigger cauliflower. Lots of food options. Everyone was eating the huge Amish donuts. Back to the rows of vendors: lots of tools, sports memorabilia, random clothing, glass, costume jewelry, and bulk packaged food. We left with vegetables and some Hazel Atlas Moderntone cobalt blue pieces (3 pieces for $11). A lot of people didn't have masks. Dogs were welcome (and some were in strollers). Suprised by the number of smokers. A lot of people were making purchases and using backpacks, shopping carts, & wagons to carry their treasures. We like to visit Ohio for Shakerwoods and Yankee Peddler. Rogers won't be on our return to list. By the way, we got our 10,000 steps in. Wear tennis shoes. read more

-THIS IS AN AUCTION ONLY REVIEW- Proceed with caution. We were repeatedly given sick or unlawfully flipped (a raccoon) animals that either last a few days then get super ill and rarely make it. They do not test these animals or require any paperwork from the sellers. Once we bought six dairy cows that all after oi I up we realized had missing fur from a sticker on their hind from a previous auction that was days prior then sold at there. They sold us a goat with an underbite which is almost always a fatal issue as they cannot chew. They sold us an unlawfully permitted rag because they fabricated the paper trail after it went to the from mount how I had to handle with Ohio ODNR. JUST STAY AWAY. Save your money and buy from reputable breeders. I also know a perfect who sent animals through the auction which were dead before sale in their care in a matter of hours. read more

Wholesome hometown market.. once it was booming with people who love local.. love car trips.. love the different sights and smells and Foraging for treasures.. but now because many people would rather sit at home, get fat, not spend time with their families and support china.. nothing is as good a before . The Best flea market in Ohio....period. open year round on Fridays only (also the first Saturday of every month i believe from labor day through October). If you have never been here I have some advice (we go EVERY FRIDAY in season): for your first trip, make sure you go on a non rainy day (check forecast three days prior as this influences SOME vendors). Wear great shoes as there are miles of rows...YES, MILES. Alot of the dealers are regulars: everything in pavilions and buildings are mostly the same every visit. The outer most aisle by the railroad tracks are mostly pricier antique dealers, and its about 30/70 in favor of dealers who are overpriced, but there are a few good ones mixed in with very nice stuff. The meat and potatoes of this place is the first 3 rows just outside the parking lot. Highly recommend going EARLY (6-8AM) if you're looking for steals, as alot of others are. The people are VERY NICE and friendly, and unless you are an uppity woke atheist who is afraid of people who are different than them (and likely smarter than they are), you will thoroughly enjoy this place!! To the uppity negative reviewers; you should probably stay home with buffy and miffy, eat crumpets and tea and talk about your pronouns. read more

Wow! That's what I'm going to say about this place. I've heard so many people talk about it and finally got the chance to go and was fully impressed. I'm a total bargain shopper and love flea markets so coming here was right up my alley. You can literally find anything! From produce, to book, to puppies and vintage signs - they have it all! We were there for almost three hours and I still didn't get to see everything. I was hoping to find more board games, but we left with some skin are products, fruits, cheese, bean bags for corn hole and dog toys. Next time I go I want to make sure I get there early enough to see everything. This is a must! read more

I can grab groceries for the week, an Amish donut and a chicken all in one spot! Okay, so you have to go to an auction for the live animals but still. The kids enjoy walking by all the animals and checking them out. Rogers trips have been a family outing for years. Rolling up to get some great deals on produce and strolling through the rows of people who were selling various items. It is best to arrive early for a good parking spot but we are always prepared for a decent walk. Bring lots of water with you or stop by a food stand for a lemon shake. I prefer the sugar filled lemon shake myself. Don't forget your sunscreen and a hat! That's good advice in general but unless you're in one of the buildings there is minimal shade. They do have some covered pavilions for people to cool off or eat their food. Thankfully they have bathroom facilities here to help you out with all that water you will be drinking. Don't forget to bring cash or hit up their ATM before shopping. There are tons of food options there as well and man do they smell good. I always say I'm going to get a rolling cart like all the pros I watch rolling along with them. My current situation is multiple trips to my vehicle with all the great produce and plants I get. You will see a lot of people pulling their rolling carts or wagons full of purchases. Side note if you're bringing small children: strollers work alright here but are not ideal. Especially if it has just rained (lots of mud) or a crazy busy day. I wore a baby carrier when my child was younger to avoid navigating a stroller. It is possible though! I have done it several times. There are so many vendors here I couldn't possibly list them all. I'll try to list some favorites instead. We usually get in line for an Amish donut early. Their line always gets pretty long but the wait isn't that bad. The ladies always do a great job of keeping things moving along and providing fresh donuts. They have specialty flavors that change as well as their classics. There are also donut holes which are a great alternative for any children you have with you. The produce stands are awesome. We save a lot by purchasing here year round.There are several stands so find your favorite. Check what you are buying as well. Bylers relish house has a stand in one of the buildings and their jams and jarred goods are the best! We always stock up on more of their products when we go. They even have jars open with crackers for you to sample if you're unsure of what you're purchasing. Our favorites there are the blueberry jalapeño jelly and dilly beans. The pickled garlic and hot salsa are delicious as well. They offer sugar free options as well if you're looking. I have also purchased bags of bay leaves and popping corn from them as well. There is also a meat counter in one of the buildings we have gotten some really good meat at. People can buy spots to sell items in some of the rows so it's always a little treasure hunt in that aspect. It's fun to see hand crafted items as well as the junk people are getting rid of. I got some cheap toys here for my son. I like to buy things second hand especially for kids. This is an interesting place to stroll around when you have a couple free hours. Come prepared for the weather. read more

I have been to flea markets all over the place.... believe me when I say that this is absolutely the best flea market in the North East! I always come away with bags and bags of goodies. Whether it be a full package of Rolling Stones puffy concert stickers from the 80's, a folk art tree branch table, c.1850s glass French shoe clips, a picture made out of butterfly wings, Harley Davidson belt buckles from the 70's, or boxes full of the best vintage clothes.... if I died here I'd die happy! You will walk. You will sweat. You will burn. So, be prepared! Arrive early! And, most importantly, have fun! read more

I had big hopes about this place but was a bit disappointed. Full disclosure: we went on a Friday in April and it was overcast and chilly... There were car vendors here but not as many as there could be (maybe at 35% capacity). The barns and shelters were filled to capacity. I didn't find as many unique items as I hoped. There was a lot of cheap, knock off dollar store items and month old candy. And once you saw one of those booths it was pretty much the same at the next one. The vendors were friendly and for the most part greeted you when you entered their area. I will be back in the summer when it's nice out. Maybe that's why it was an "off day". read more

I've been coming here since I was a kid. And on my recent visit home, I've made 2 stops here. I LOVE this market, it's by far my favourite market on earth. And that's comparing to European flea markets! I bought the best ever hat a few weeks ago! I wear this hat everywhere. And bought a few great purses! But there are heaps of bargains to be had! If your an ebay seller, this is the place for you. Loads of junk that someone would find worthy! and i've found so many odd but interesting people! Rogers is great, I go all of the time. I'm a regular. This is the place to get your fix for all the crap you need, don't need, and wish you never saw. It's a great place to see freaks, wacks and butt cracks. If your the sissy type that's afraid of some dirt, or dirty people, stay home. I stocked up on goodies from Amish vendors that included the following homemade items: cranberry cheddar (they make their own cheese!), Mediterranean cheddar, blueberry pie, and cheesecake brownies. Also gotten for dirt-cheap (not pun intended) were three supercute dresses, a big sack of potatoes, garlic cloves, and corn cobs. If and when I ever bring Darren here, he will lose his mind over the food alone. This is so worthy driving out here for. You'll never know what you'll come across. read more

Love going to here to browse around. I try to go at least once a year. We actually set up here for the first time recently. It was such a smooth transaction. They do everything online; we now have a 'vendor number' & can set up anytime now; you can pick your spot online, pay etc. The rows & vendor spots are all clearly marked. This place is massive! There are tons of stalls inside and out. You will find everything from fair food, Amish delicacies, produce, plants, clothes, accessories, housewares - they have it all. As my wife and I refer to it, it's the "dirt mall' (insert southern twang) otherwise it's an enormous flea market. We enjoy going here once in awhile mainly because of the fresh, locally grown produce. The prices are fantastic. I must warn, be ready to walk. They boast being the largest open air market in the tri-state area with over 1,600 vendors spread over an area equal to five miles. They also lay claim to receiving over 50,000 visitors a week of which is pretty darn close as it is packed every time we go. The flea market is every Friday from 7:30 AM with no set closing time. You can anything from, pineapples and wallets to sunglasses and baby livestock. It an truly be an all day affair. They also have several different food vendors that would compare to what you find at a fair or carnival. Mmmmm, fair fries! (Homer Simpson impression) Needless to say, the crowd is very diverse and let's say, interesting. Parking is very ample (5 acres) but can be a long walk as you may find yourself parking in the back 40. Great experience anyway. read more

If Big Lots, your local church and a bunch of stereotypical Hillbillies (not everyone there was one but you get the pic) all got together and made a baby this worthless flea market is it! In fact, it's not a flea market because markets offer variety, antiques, hand made items not the commercialized crap I saw here! The hour plus long trip was a huge disappointment as I've seen better at my local yard sale. Almost every single vendor was offering the same exact junk, even my fair fries & lemonade were terrible. Unless you live close buy and like to eat tons of fresh fruit and veggies it's not worth the trip! It was as if Jesus, the confederate flag and the dollar store threw up and then stuck a price tag on it to entice the all "Americans" to flock together in an orgy of Wal-creatures. I was hoping to purchase furniture and possibly some local art, you wont find that here. The "antiques" advertised here weren't actual antiques but reproductions of vintage signs,etc and only one stall actually sold true antiques that were in bad shape. Most of the gypsy like dresses you can find @ Tinkerbox in Ravenna or your local street fair for $15.00 to $20.00 cheaper. The only worth while purchase was homemade fudge, dog treats and the fresh fruit. read more

Wow and wow again. This place is as huge as it gets as far as flea markets go. If you get anywhere near this place and see other people parking and walking.. just do the same. It has to be at least 1 square mile of stalls in every direction so parking anywhere is just fine. Make sure you have a hat if its a sunny day. The amount of people here in the middle of no where Ohio is also crazy. It sort of reminds me of what some of the shopping areas in a huge city might be like. Chances are you will get lost in the miles of booths. If you live very far from this place its at least worth a look. There's a fairly nice diner on the grounds so you don't need to do the "fair" food if you don't want too. If you come in from Pennsylvania try to avoid route 154, as we came through Rogers it was a major traffic jam as people tried to get through the only light in town. I've personally been coming to Rogers since I was a little kid. There is so much to see. Free parking is available everywhere. Its a chance every week to see what kind of things you will find. Some junk, some antiques, some collectibles, some crafts, you never really know. My favorite is the amish made doughuts at Mary's Doughnuts. I swear people come just for that in itself. If you're looking to get your tan on and get some fresh air on a nice spring/summer day, this is for you. read more

Being a single mom, times were tough and money was tight so Rodgers became our golden opportunity to have a perfect day together and make many happy memories. I can't wait to introduce my grandchildren to the fun filled days that usually started before noon and lasted until late at night when we crammed the car full of all our new treasures and healthy food to share with all the loved ones at home in Pennsylvania. Best flea market I have ever been to in my life if you want something they gotta have it

If you've never been to the "Dirt Mall" you don't know what you're missing. Sometimes on Fridays my family and I will drive up here just for lunch. You can find anything & everything here. Also if you have some items you are wanting to unload take them up with you and you'll prob have no problem selling them to a vendor. On a nice summer day you could spend a few hours just walking up and down the isles. So, if you have a free Friday on a nice Summer day do yourself a favor and go check out Rogers Sale. I grew up not far from Rogers. This is a great open air flea market. The "dirt mall" has a little bit of something for everyone. There is a lot to look at and a lot of walking as well so I would recommend good shoes for walking. read more

Don't buy into the Hype from the Hypocritical Liberal hipster rogers has many many garage sale left over dumps and cool things for the creative. if you go there to people watch make sure you take a good luck in the mirror first. I enjoy just getting the exercise and being outside. if you go make sure to check out Amish places like Marys donuts and the classic concessions of Jodys for some fries but all that aside if you wanna enjoy the sunshine one friday around noon wear a cap and shades and take the kids out. read more
