While I was discussing a project with the jeweler she sat nearby watching me. I felt she was being VERY judgmental and when she rolled her eyes and gasped at what I mentioned I had planned on spending, I knew talking behind my back was the next step as soon as I closed the door and left. Then a couple days after I had gotten in touch with them, the maid of honor let me know they needed my measurements...again. I called a let them and spoke to Mike. I gave them my measurements again and when we got to my height Mike said, " that makes sense because it matches your squeaky high voice". I found this very rude and unnecessary. I feel like when you are working in the wedding industry part of your job is to make the bride and her bridesmaids feel good about themselves. I had an appointment early in the morning with the wonderful Lizzie. She asked a lot of questions about what I liked and what I didn't like, where the wedding was, what time of year, outside or inside, etc. She was extremely detailed and went right on to grabbing dresses! Funnily enough, The first one I tried on was the one I fell in love with at the end of the appointment. I tried on a total of about 10-15 dresses and the first one was a hit through all of them! She took down all the names of items I was wearing (veil, headpiece, & dress) and saved them in the system for me and also wrote them down on a piece of paper for me too. After the appointment we had a horrible experience at david's bridal (please just don't waste your time there) and then immediately came back to try on the dress again quickly and buy it! Lizzie then not only helped me buy it, but also helped me find bridesmaids dresses even after my appointment time! She really made this experience for me an absolute dream. All questions were thoroughly answered and we were given dates, warnings, contact informations, etc with buying the dress. I could not have asked for a better place to find my dream dress!

Wool, cotton and rayon knits, boucle, suitngs, mattress ticking in colors, fabric for fancy kids clothes, glamorous fabrics for gowns, you name it! The quilting cotton selection is huge and they are so much better quality than the now defunct JoAns, Hobby Libby, or Walmart. The button and lace selection is amazing. The folks working there are so helpful and nice! I cannot say enough good things about this store. I just wish there were more local fabric stores. I am near Calico Country and they have about 1/4 of the selection of quilting cottons and not much in terms of garment sewing.

The store is very well laid out, organized clean, and the sales help was exceptional. I do not feel cheated out of going to Paducah, as I am bringing home several really great fabrics to work with crafts and garment construction. I would recommend the store to anyone who likes to sew. The store is also a babylock dealer so it's nice to see familiar machines in the store as you walk in .
