I recently bought spotter arms for my folding rack. I let them know my concerns about the bottom bolts being high. They said the spotter arms would work after looking at pictures of my folding rack that I sent. When I received the spotter arms they didn't work with my rack. It only allows a few inches clearance for bench, if even that. I asked to return them but was told they had to look into it. If I bought them without asking for guidance maybe I could understand that, but I asked. Now one customer service rep just asked me to sell them myself rather than provide me a return label. Even the rack wasn't as easy a set up as advertised. They don't seem to be very helpful. Normally, you can return a product no questions asked. Not with Rogue! read more

These guys sent me two right knee sleeves and never responded when I asked for a replacement. One of the biggest names in the industry has shit customer service unless you are buying in bulk as an LLC or athlete/content creator. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience at Rogue's retail store. Customer service was great! Their fitness products are quality, but their manuals are terrible. I bought a large fitness rack, and when I realized I didn't have the right manual, I called customer service, and they told me that they don't have a manual set up for all the different racks, and you have to figure it out between videos and manuals of racks that are similar. For something that costs as much as their Fitness equipment does, this seems unacceptable to me. I would suggest you go through an actual brick-and-mortar store if you're going to purchase something large. Because that way you're going to get assembly support and much better functionality when it comes to manuals, making sure you have the right parts, etc. read more

Customer Service is a feature that many companies rarely emphasize these days. I reached out to Rogue on some plates I had ordered some years back, regarding a few of them being warped. An employee (Patrick C) exhibited perfect customer service skills and was able to properly address my concerns about the product quality and replace what did not meet standards. Rogue has a reputation of offering premium equipment that is more than just gym gear. Rogue is the benchmark in the fitness industry in my opinion and they provide immense value to anyone who chooses to use their products. Well worth the money. Upon completion of the 1000lb challenge, a rogue fitness "judge" decided that I didn't complete the challenge, I then requested a refunded since wasn't getting a shirt that I paid $30 for, Rogue rudely denied my request for a refund and wasn't ever given an explanation as to why. I've never had an issue with products purchased from Rouge. All of the products I own are made is the USA, except for their t-shirts. I try not to buy 'Made in China' products. The only return I've ever had was simple and hassle free. I bought an Ohio Power Bar from Rogue with their proprietary black sleeves. within three weeks, one of the sleeves had a scratch. I had only used the barbell a handful of times, so I don't know if it arrived defective or id the coating is of such poor quality that loading plates scratches the surface. Rogue states they have a 30-day return window and a lifetime warranty, but after a week of back and forth with customer service, they made the unfortunate (and illegal under Texas state law) decision to not honor both of their stated policies that influenced my buying decision. Rogue isn't worth the premium they charge. you're better off buying fitness stuff from Amazon...at least they honor their own return policy. read more

The most dishonest American company I have ever dealt with. I Purchased a Rogue Ohio Bar from the Boneyard for $232. Per website "Boneyard products are high-quality factory seconds with a minor cosmetic blemish." The Ohio Bar comes in a variety of rust-proof coatings or stainless steel. The bar that was delivered was bare steel and began rusting within a week. After reaching out to request an exchange for a blemished Ohio Bar that actually fit the Ohio Bar specs, I was told "all sales are final and there are no exchanges." Customers are being LIED TO and sold an inferior product they could buy for $100 from any other company, but being passed off as a minor blemish of a supposedly-superior product. read more

I have now ordered multiple times from Rogue, exceeding a total of $50,000, each order has been an absolute cluster. The Rogue team has made this process increasingly frustrating as the ball has been dropped at every step.  My first order was submitted in October; that order was not delivered until December 6th. At no point was there any communication that the order was delayed or updates on its status, as the website was not updated. My equipment was not fulfilled until February. Your reps not only hindered the process but forced me to contact Rogue via phone multiple times to sort out conflicting information. To that end, once it was delivered, our order was so inaccurate I had to wait until February to receive the corrections of my equipment. Your company provided me with the excuse that the shipment was delayed because "the warehouse was not informed that our first order was a full truck load." Additionally stating that "the military package weight selections are not sent to the warehouse, only the package itself" baffles me to no end. The level of failure to communicate between departments at Rogue is unacceptable as a customer. During this process we were constantly assured by multiple Rogue reps that there would be a lift gate included to assist unloading from the semi. On both occasions we were forced to rent a forklift to unload. The first delivery did not include a lift, and the second one was unable to use his liftgate and the packages were too large. Yet another failed opportunity for communication by the Rogue staff, and a detail that I was informed was absolutely factored into a $900 shipping bill on the second order alone. The only positive note I have of this whole ordeal is that of my interaction with Grant at Victory Logistics. He provided me with more communication and information than the Rogue team in its entirety.  This may seem as only a small delay for equipment to whoever is reading this; however, this equipment allows me to make a living and provide essential medical services to rural communities. I chose Rogue, as your company was recommended to me from multiple exercise professionals. My patients, friends in the exercise realm, and said referrals were all shocked at the trouble we have had with your company. Said referral source have all apologized to us on your behalf. The delay conservatively cost me $6,000 per day, with reps constantly assuring me that "we apologize and understand your situation" without an inclination of providing a solution. I will be opening multiple additional PT clinics in the very near future, if this is the standard that Rogue is comfortable with setting for their company, I will be glad to find other options. read more

This store is absolutely amazing and the employees are extremely helpful. The moment I walked in the door, I had Bridget walk up to me and ask if I needed any assistance with their workout equipment. I was traveling across country with my two Great Danes, so I was happy to hear that they are pet friendly which is a huge plus! Steffi was one of the other employees that continued to help me find the equipment that I needed and they each took the time to show me around the store. Each was very knowledgeable on their equipment and they made me feel as though I was a part of the family. They extremely kind, patient, and gave my wife, children, and dogs as much attention as they gave me. It was clearly more about being helpful than it was about selling me equipment. To be clear, this review is of the experience I had in store. I have also ordered many items from their online store and I was extremely satisfied with my purchases. I have ordered racks, barbells, plates, belts, and other items that all arrived in a reasonable time period. I stopped by the store on my way across country to save a little money on shipping. The retail store is clean, organized, and well stocked. If an item is not on the floor, they can easily grab it from their warehouse attached. Quick responses, replacement or a partial refund offered, and quick shipping. In one case, they even saw a review I left on a new product, reached out to discuss, and shipped me a fix. It wasn't until after I placed a large order from Rogue when I heard the nightmares. I figured I would luck out and it wouldn't happen to me. I cannot comprehend how company with its stature and reputation in the market could ethically and morally do business the way they do. I ordered essentials for a home gym including a Monster Lite Rack, barbells, and some smaller nice to have items. First off, my order shipped in 25 individual boxes. I'd estimate that 95% of the boxes that has been delivered so far been damaged, and I fear essential components have fallen out and are now lost in the ether. Second, and I should have known better, I ordered two "boneyard" barbells, which are non-refundable and non-returnable. Both barbell tubes showed up damaged or missing end caps, and my "boneyard" barbells are now further damaged beyond the minor cosmetic blemishes that were promised. I have always wanted to do business with Rogue, and I am largely dissatisfied with how they ship their products. Photos feature delivered portion of the entire 25 box order featuring boxes that were opened and/or damaged during transit. For $4000 dollars of my hard earned money, I would expect better packaging. Ive been a loyal Rogue Fitness customer since 2014. Annually I purchase a couple things here and there and other years iv'e purchased full home gym equipment for personal and business use. Sometimes things have came slightly defective but they've done a great job at providing me with a reimbursement or discount on some occasions. This past week I realized that I had purchased a wrong shirt size for a Christmas gift. I noticed that the order had been received by rouge but items had not been picked out so i decided to call them for a swap in size before it was too late. Unfortunately the rep did not get approval from his manager to swap my order because it would throw off the entire shipping order. Things didn't make sense since the items had not yet been picked (per their system.) I proceeded to request to cancel my order which was close to $400 if they would not be able to make a simple size swap for a $30 shirt. The rep once again said that his manager was not able to approve that, so I asked to speak to him to which he said he was unable to transfer the call. After that I was in disbelief to why a simple change had to take 40 minutes of my time and needing me to remind them that I have been a loyal customer for almost 10 years regardless of other local gym equipment companies located near me. First, I'll start off by saying Rogue Fitness provides some of the highest quality workout equipment available. That being said, their shipping and packaging is absolutely terrible, and their quality control needs improvement. I placed a large order and received my items approximately 2 1/2 weeks later. My overpriced dumbbells had major scratches and dents on the urethane rubber, my uprights didn't have completed laser engraving of the metal, my trap bar had a giant dent and metal scrapes, and somehow my Olympic Rings arrived damaged as well. For a company with such a large fan base and such a giant following, I'm surprised they cut costs on packaging and ship items in such a neglectful manner. It shows this company doesn't care at all about how the product arrives to customers. If you want to buy rogue items, you're rolling the dice that they don't arrive damaged. Terrible customer service! I bought a $130 pair of do win classic lifters for the purpose of squatting and Olympic lifting. They were awesome at first! A few months later the sole separated from the toe of the left shoe making it impossible to do jerks. I emailed the warranties department and received a quick email back stating "nothing we can do since they've over 30 days old". I've never worn them outside, never run in them, never did anything other than what they were made for. I followed up with a call and asked to speak with a supervisor since my answer wasn't satisfactory. I WAS DENIED THE ABILITY TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR. I was told there was one available, but they refused to transfer me! Despicable customer service. They should be ashamed. Not sure why their QC hadn't caught this before sending to me, or perhaps they don't have one. At any rate, been dealing with this for over a month and they now don't have anymore in stock. They offered me $35 off the upgraded purchase so I would have to spend an additional $100 on top of the $150 I already spent - NO THANKS! Not looking to resolve the issue, they're looking to make a bigger sale. It really is shocking to me how they simply do not care. And now, because of their problem I'm left without a timer and had to deal with this for over a month. Surely ROGUE can find better customer service employees. Bought a 7ft ez Curl Bar. Black coating started chipping after two weeks. Customer Service said it was because of metal-metal wear. No kidding. I have a competitors straight bar for 5 years that is not chipping; same rack, same j-cups. I paid a LOT for this bar and could not be more disappointed. Equipment I've used at commercial gyms has always been good, but trying to purchase my own and the customer service and warehouse/shipping is atrocious. Hopefully the people actually doing the manufacturing care more about their jobs than the fulfillment folks. Ordered a new rack, bar, and bench on 9/20. Website said "ships in 14-30 days." They took my money at time of order. All items took over 30 days to ship with no communication from Rogue unless I contacted them. When I asked for an update via chat, they would provide no information, just told me to email customer support. Not sure what the chat is for, they're rude and can't help you with anything. First thing to arrive was my bench, but no hardware or instructions. I contacted them about the hardware, which took another 5 days to arrive, along with the instructions. Once I had those, I noticed I was also missing some giant steel brackets. Contacted them again the same day and was told they'd be shipped out right away. That was 6 days ago and they still haven't shipped. I emailed twice a few days apart for an update and then called. I was just told the brackets haven't even been made yet and they can't provide an estimate of when they will be. Meanwhile, other parts of my original order have arrived, also missing hardware and instructions. What the heck?!? I've contacted them now twice by chat, five times by email, and twice by phone. No real attempt on their part to save their brand reputation. Also, ignore the order status tracker. It has no correspondence to reality. My brackets have been "picked" even though they apparently don't exist. Things also say "shipped" for days before UPS receives them. And "quality check" apparently doesn't include making sure the parts are all in the package. I get that demand is high during COVID and good help is hard to find, but that's no reason to treat customers who bought $2k worth of equipment in a month like a nuisance. Give real estimates on your website. Don't say 14-30 days if it's likely to be way longer. When you screw up, apologize and try to fix it. Communicate proactively when things are running late. And get some warehouse staff that can check a package against a parts list! I feel like I fell for a "made in USA" ruse. I have a feeling Chinese warehouse workers at Rep Fitness pay much better attention when they package product. read more

Call it supply and demand, but it's nearly impossible to get good, affordable weights during these quarantine times. The price gouging for used weights on Craigslist is insane, and companies are selling out of new weights as quickly as they are made available. Most companies have jacked up their prices - but not Rogue. It took a couple weeks of feverishly refreshing the page, but I was finally able to order 10-50lb rubber hex dumbbells from Rogue. The price would've been on the higher end in normal times, but since Rogue hasn't jacked up its prices during the pandemic, these are some of the best dumbbells you can buy at a price that's now competitive. The shipping charge was very reasonable. Since I ordered a lot of weights, my order ended up being a freight order. After 3 weeks had gone by with no update, I contacted Rogue and learned that the lead time for freight orders was 1-2 months due to high demand. But 2 weeks later, the weights shipped as individual UPS packages (not freight). I'm pretty sure that Rogue paid more to ship the weights to me than I paid in shipping charges. Meanwhile, I placed a second order for 60lb dumbbells and a kettlebell and received them only 12 days later, so it seems that small orders are not significantly backed up. I find it hilarious that the heavier dumbbells arrived with a big hole punched through the box. I'm guessing that UPS workers did that to be able to carry the dumbbells by their handle. At least they did not arrive damaged. Except for one dumbbell, on which there was a 1-inch tear in the rubber. I contacted Rogue support through the website and they were fantastic and offered me a replacement or a credit. I chose the former and the replacement arrived a mere 1 week later. So yes, the wait for large orders may be a bit agonizing, but it's the same with other companies right now. I'm keen on ordering more, particularly some of Rogue's US-made racks/stands, but I'm running out of space in my home gym. Rogue is a trash company and I will not be buying from them ever again. Rogue screwed up my one order from them three times. First, Rogue's chosen partner in my area for last-mile deliveries screwed up multiple times. Without notifying me, they turned what was supposed to be one delivery drop into two separate deliveries on two different days. For the second "delivery", they didn't provide any tracking or advance warning (probably because it was never supposed to be its own shipment) and left it on the sidewalk when I wasn't home, without notice, days after the first pallet arrived -- meaning hundreds and hundreds of dollars of equipment was sitting in the open, for hours, in an area known for package theft. Then, upon opening my packages, the first thing I notice is I'm missing a dumbbell from my second pallet. Most of the pallet is taken up by dumbbells that I bought in pairs, which makes it surprising that they thought I arbitrarily decided to order just one dumbbell for one of the middle sets. I had to reach out to them and go through the process of getting a "replacement" dumbbell sent to me. I check the rest of the order and the boxes appear to match up with my shipment manifest. But then, not owning any of the equipment to put my shipment together, I hired someone to assemble the equipment. As they're assembling it, they notice that Rogue has left out critical parts - meaning that instead of a full rack, I just have a squat stand and a bunch of extra metal arms with no joiners. At this point, I reach out to Rogue again. This whole process has been such a pain that I'm not interested in any more "replacement" orders. They tell me that in order to be refunded the difference in price for the rack they didn't properly ship to me, they need me to send back the parts specifically for the rack. They'll provide postage but they won't pay for packaging. So now I have to package two 70" BEAMS and two 17" crossbeams -- all SOLID METAL -- and pay for it myself, in order to receive just the difference in price between what I initially paid for versus what they wrongly sent me.
