There aren't many services I will stress out over finding someone to hire... detailer is at the top of a very short list. I had been able to put off getting my new 4Runner detailed for several months until a trip to CA with two cats lose in the car reprioritized my spending needs urgently. I put out so many feelers out of desperation I am not sure how I came across Jaime's business, but I'm relieved I did. I went on a hunting trip a few weeks back, and did a lot of off-roading on my truck. It was coated in mud all the way up to the wheel wells, and had "Nevada pin stripes" all across (sagebrush scratches). I called Rogue one to help get the truck looking proper, and they came over to my place the next day to clean the car. It took him a good 3 hours, but afterwards the car looked like it came off the lot. The following day, a group of contractors doing work at my house were giving me compliments about the truck, thinking it was brand new. So that is as good as an endorsement I think you can get. Overall NOT a great engine bay cleaning. Came into an issue where the car began to idle roughly and I believed there to be water in my engine (I had taken the car out for lunch as I work from home.) Good think my car broke down on me right in front of a mechanic. There may or may not have been water in my car as I have receipts from mechanics before this happened, that my car was in perfect shape and nothing was loose,broken, or whatever(I checked my own car and know what to look for also). I had the car inspected and they found that water had traveled up into the air box through the hole at the bottom of my car (where air enters to get into the engine) so my car was suffocating and wasn't able to run properly without air and the filter was semi wet. They replaced the air filter checked my spark plugs, fuel rail, fuel injectors and found zero evidence of water. What a relief ! This 50 dollar engine bay cost me 160 dollars in total after the inspection at Pep Boys. I may have to buy several fuel injector cleaners and some gas cleaner to remove any water if any (droplets) may be sitting in the pistons of my engine. Everything's fine now and I'm not happy with the cleaning I really am but just wish every single spec of water in my engine bay was dried before I could drive, even after I asked the man if I could drive the vehicle. Thanks! The "malfunction" does not exist. Your simply didn't do a good job and deserve a one star. A monkey can apply a back-to-black polish on plastic, and use a power washer and aim it down into an engine bay up. There was no point in asking me because as you say so yourself you're not a mechanic so If i did want you to check my engine bay , what are you going to do ? Nothing. You'd say something may be exposed, and tell me you can't work on the car because you're not a mechanic and leave and waste my time. Just because you were "careful" doesn't mean anything because at the end of the day water was still found in my air filter and luckily only in my air filter. I also told you no nothing needed to be looked over because I have literal receipts from a vehicle inspection 5 days before saying my vehicle was in excellent condition; and before I finish my review and response to your comment m, YOU can reach out to me and send me 110 dollars I can show you the receipt from the mechanics who inspected my vehicle if you want to "reach out" because it only seems that you only care about me removing my 1 star from your business or giving you anything else but 1 star. If you're son interested in me reaching out in person, what do you think I'd like resolved ? As far as I'm concerned, I'd like my money back for the engine detail AND the mechanic but you and I both know that's not going to happen and I frankly do not care because I will stay 100 miles away from your business.
