Still the only original idea for a vape shop in VA with any know how and heart! OG's from the start to finish...

Aside from selling house juice at premium juice prices, the owner here has a superiority complex for the ages. In four shopping experiences at this store, each visit was dominated by sideways comments about other Vape shops in town, specifically WC and Avail. He quick tell you what they will not do for you, like exchanges, which I know from personal experience at WC is false. As someone who works in sales, I carry a personal disdain for any business who puts more effort into downing other providers in the area than focusing on their own customer experiences. In purchasing a eLeaf box, it had some loose magnets in it. Not his fault, understandable, but in asking for help, I was simply told I can wait 10 days to fix a device that's 5 days old, and when I asked for an exchange on a faulty product, he laughed at me, told me it was my own fault, and said he didn't give a shit about my business and pointed to the door. Literally told me he'd rather lose my business forever than offer me any kind of reasonable help. Now what REALLY pissed me off is not only did he not offer ANY help, he SLAPPED ME ON THE BACK AND POINTED TO THE DOOR! He told me verbatim he'd rather lose my business than offer me any kind of help whatsoever. Then created a story on google reviews about how there were 15 people (there were 3) in the store and they "almost had to call the police." Shop ANYWHERE but here. Most shops offer better juice at lower prices anyway, and juice that has been properly steeped for a month or two prior to sale. Comparatively, WC and Avail both offer the box I just purchased for $10 les than I paid RokkStar for it, and I know first hand if they sell you a faulty product - they'll at least offer help before accusing you of wrongdoing and laughing you out the door. Take any "facts" he gives you about his competition with a grain of salt, I watch him lie twice in one minute about WC and Avail's customer service and exchange options just make himself look better. read more

Was in the store today. The owner was clearly in a bad mood, I felt like more an inconvenience to him than a paying customer. Having shopped around, I asked him if he could price match WC so I didn't have to drive all the way to other side of town. (He was charging $15 more than WC.) He became very defensive, and told me (incorrectly) that there's no way WC is selling the product that cheap, even though I just got off the phone with them 10 minutes ago. As opposed to building any value in the product, offering any kind of competitive pricing, he simply told me I can drive over there and shop if that's what I wanted. So I did. I was just curious where he went and looked on web. James he was probably in a bad mood because he was loosing money like crazy and couldn't even keep up with his rent getting evicted from the store. I always thought his juice was good but WAY overpriced. The last time I went in was the finish to my business. I bought a Mod that was about $25 overpriced and it came with a bottle of "free" juice, the juice was crap and tasted like shit. I went back in and told him he disappeared for a second coming back with another bottle to replace it and that one ended up even worse. My business advice to him years ago was lower the price and you will sell more and keep your ass afloat. You have to keep customers happy somehow and price will keep them coming back. For me I like 1 or 2 flavors but I definitely wasn't going to vape them everyday at his price. I would buy a bottle every few months and if everyone else felt that way I am sure that's why he couldn't pay the rent. I spend a good bit on juice, coils and accessories on a regular basis and what could have been a steady income supply for him was more of "SHIT my coil burned out and his shop is closest I will pay for 1 coil and get stocked up next time I am at Avail or Slyfox" what could have been my 4-6 bottles of juice each month was 1 bottle every few months as a change from my normal more economical juice that was just as good and honestly burned cleaner. Anyway I knew from the start that his business would only last for so long. And as for the good reviews: Rosie was his girlfriend (IDK maybe she still is, who knows maybe she is his wife by now?
