Hubs had a breakfast burrito that he said was a bit bland, although large in size. I had huevos rancheros and I would have loved them except the spice was a bit too hot. For me at least. Rolberto's food is amazing and I will make any excuse to go to Pendleton just to eat there. Food is awesome and pricing is great. The rolled taquitos are bomb! I ordered 4 bacon breakfast burritos for the family one morning while staying in Pendleton. They were well worth the wait, as they were busy but working hard to get orders filled as quickly as possible. Once I got back to the family everyone agreed the bacon used in the burritos was fantastic. The green sauces was also very good. The creamy one having a surprise spice at the end but it wasn't terribly hot. On 10/8/24, I visited Rolberto's for the first time. The reviews were a bit mixed, but I was optimistic given that there are numerous locations of this business. I ordered the taco plate with just a single taco. The service from the young man at the counter was good. The interior was clean and comfortable. There was a nice salsa bar. My meal looked good, but appearances are deceiving. Both rice and beans were flavorless. The taco meat had a strange texture. It was if it had been boiled. It was flavorless. Despite spending 8+ dollars, after taking a couple of bites, I threw it in the garbage. I don't know how this business came to have at least four locations, and perhaps the night I ate there was a one off, but given my experience here, I won't be giving it a second chance. read more

Rolbertos is mine and my family's favorite quite spot to sit down for pretty much any meal of the day. Food is pretty cheap. 80% of the time you will have great service with a smile. 20% of the time, they have a child take your order which isn't great. The salsa bar is great with a few different salsa options and other sides. The only negatives I have about this place after eating here probably 40+ times or so is that there has been a younger girl that I can only assume is a relative, will be in a booth with an iPad and the volume is blasted to 100. Since this has been happening, we stopped going as often because it is honestly just annoying and you can't hear yourself think. Overall, this spot is great and I'd recommend stopping in. I'll give it a 3 for now but I would put it a 4.5 if the iPad kid wasn't an issue. read more

This place is inexpensive, so don't expect fine dining, but the food is as good or better than you'd get at other places at this price point. This is good Mexican food. It is located across from the Wall Mart in Pendleton, Oregon. It is one long block from the Taco Bell and is a heck of a lot better than the Taco Bell for about the same price. So if you have the choice, want Mexican food and are in the area, go here to Rolberto's instead of the Taco Bell. read more

Went in on a Saturday morning for some breakfast. Only one guy "doing everything" so it took a while to get our food. He was working very hard and was apologetic for the wait. Not his fault so no points deducted. It was one of the best breakfast burritos I've had. It's huge too. I made two meals out of mine. Reheated beautifully in the microwave. read more

The food had so much flavor! I got the horchata and birria tacos. I haven't had horchata like this before, so sweet and the cinnamon was well mixed in. The tacos tasted perfect with the beef and the sauce. The service was quick and they were all so nice. I found it super convenient that they had a salsa bar too! This business is fairly new to Pendleton. I've only tried a few burritos so far, but plan on going back for more. First I tried the chile relleno burrito. It's amazing! They use a real chile. Their green salsa is just hot enough that it's perfect. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito. Great mix of meat, potatoes, and eggs. I couldn't finish it. Today and I tried the pork burrito and wasn't as impressed with it as I was the other two burritos I tried. It was just meat, onions, and cilantro. I was expecting beans, rice, and other toppings. It was a huge burrito for it all to just be meat. It's was good, but I wanted just a little more variety. My one complain: I'm guessing it's the manager, he's always loud. One time I came in and he was loud on his phone right next to the register. It was hard to communicate with the person at the register. The other two times he was loud with staff. No customer service from him. Just business. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

Really excellent food! The carne asada burrito is as good as my favorites in Portland. We looked around Pendleton and chose this for lunch and it was perfect. If you're passing through on 84 or looking for good food in town you should make sure to make this your stop. read more
