From the moment we arrived. If you've ever been here you know that its in the back of the casino and you have to either take the staircase or elevator to it. You also need reservations, so no one is simply stumbling accidentally into this restaurant. When we arrived we weren't greeted with a "welcome in, how are we this evening"...instead we got a rude... "Can WE help you???!!" As if we were lost or in the wrong place. With the kind of tone you would speak if someone was somewhere they shouldn't be. Not a big deal but did start off the evening with a questionable start. Several other little things we noticed, but ultimately the biggest was the service and quality of food. Our entrees took about 50min to arrive. Meanwhile the table next to us (different waitress) had come in about 15 min AFTER us. Received their appetizer, their entrees, and had finished and paid all before we received our entree. Then to finally get it and my chicken was dry as dry can be. Cold and hard! Couldn't even swallow it, chew it or choke it down with my beverage. My entire entree was left on my plate and our waitress was obviously oblivious or more intentional with her not wanting to call attention to the fact I had left it all and it was inedible. I dont like complaining about food and never have I sent anything back. But I wish I had. I expected at least a "how is everything tasting".... but I believe she could tell based on the looks how over cooked it was and still chose to ignore. But did ask if I wanted a box. To which I politely declined. Overall way too long for 2 entrees when other tables had appetizer and desserts while we sat ignored. No refills even offered and terribly overdone cold food. Fine dining tho right? More like yeah right. Poor And to think just a couple years ago I gave them a 5 star raving review. Plateau management plase get better cooks and please recognize poor service and dining experience... and actually maybe start by the role and tone you set. I noticed the lead visiting certain tables to ask about dinner and introduce... however other tables completely skipped and ignored. Felt favored. Maybe its a profile thing? We dont exactly fit the demographic of the area. Thats sad to say and the first time in my life I've ever said that. But clearly certain folks were worth the service and others not so much. Its a small quiet restaurant..so you picking and chosing was a terribly blatant display. And I hope you recognize my review and recognize where my husband and I sat last night and can discuss or perhaps look at it from our perspective and see what could have been done better and do better next time. Our waitress (the young lady with long black hair) was incredibly friendly, attentive, and fast. Excellent service from start to finish. My husband ordered the Brisket French Dip--rich, flavorful, perfectly tender-- and paired with French fries that were crispy to perfection. I had the Chicken Ranch Quesadilla with fries as well, and wow... our taste buds were taken to a whole new level! He enjoyed a cold beer on tap, while I sipped on a delicious Bloody Mary, such a perfect pairing with the meal. The food was well-seasoned, generously portioned, reasonably priced, and absolutely hit the mark. This bar-and-grill experience checked all the boxes.
